LOL, I hope not! For some reason I thought you said you had sore throat and was making a drink then burned your hand!

Managed to finish off the border today ad got the rest of the bulbs in, bought some wallflowers this afternoon with plant them with the tulip bulbs.

        Have a good holiday Glamm

Sorry about your hand Oma, I hope it feels better now.

Nice to have that sort of feed back Gemini, perhaps we could book you for the next get-together.

          Tesco order came about 9.30.
Daisy, i don't do a lot of cooing when groceries come, but i do have in mind what meals we will be having for a day or two.
I'm glad i didn't order more frozen stuff than i did, both freezers are jam packed.

Oma, hope the hand is a bit less sore now.

Enfys, hope hubby feels better soon.

          Glamma, have a lovely holiday.

Oma I hope the hand is getting better. You must find it so frustrating. Enfys, sorry to hear your OH is unwell. My OH went to docs today & has a chest infection. Now on antibiotics. He doesn't look well, bless. I'll be glad when things get back to normality here.

Nana, hope hubby feels better soon, and everyone else who is a bit under the weather.

Hopefully if weather permits we are going in the garden. The grass will probably get it's last cut of the year, and hubby wants to do a couple of jobs before winter sets in.

Car is booked in for it's MOT later today.

                      Good morning.
I hope that if you or your family are feeling unwell everyone feels better soon.

I managed to cut the grass in the front garden yesterday but the back was still far too wet.

Qwerty I hope you can have a bit of a recovery day today after all the children yesterday.

Oma I burnt the tip of my finger on the frying pan yesterday so I can only imagine how sore the back of your hand must have been. Glad it's not so bad now.

                      Have a good day ladies.

Not sure what the weather is going to do today, it looks it will be fine. Not usually on at this time but off to Senior Cinema with a friend this morning.

GD1 is going for an interview with Waitrose today, she needs a change of job but she is the animal lover and horsey one and atm works for an company who sell chickens, rabbits, stick insects, snakes, etc. and they also have a livery so she gets to ride but I feel she is not valued, it is a family run business, I think she is fed up with cleaning chickens out. Not sure this is the right move for her as she loves the goats, she needs to marry a farmer. Her qualification is for animal husbandry. Her first job was working with polo ponies which she loved as she got to ride them every day but the owner was not very good at paying her. Jobs working with animals are not very well paid.

Morning ladies , Plant that's so sad when she loves animals so much , its the humans who let us down

Overcast hear , not doing much didn't sleep again ,
Hairdresser coming at 10 then he's back hear tea time to cut GS1 hair
                          .
Our elderly neighbours the one who lost Tizzy their dog not long ago , knocked at 7.30 in a panic they going away for a week this morning to Spain
She packed case last night and put a lock on ,went to open it to put something else in and the lock was jammed ,
B went down as was able to cut it off and we gave them our combination lock and the number on some paper for her to put in her purse .
Better it happened now than when they got there.

                            Good morning.

I hope all members and OHS who are under the weather or have burnt hands, are soon feeling well.
Fingers crossed for the MOT Nan2.
Qwerty, relax today if you can.
I remember you telling me about your GD, Plant. I hope she eventually finds the right job for her where she can be with animals, but be valued and paid better. Maybe Waitrose can be a stop gap.

We really enjoyed the theatre last night, it was a really good night.
It is a free day for me today. OH is helping a friend to put up some trellising this morning.
New neighbours (3 doors down) are moving in today. Two enormous removal lorries have just arrived from Rugby.

I had a strange dream last night. We were giving a friend of mine a lift in OHs car. But then it was Mr Omas car! I told my friend OHs new car was just like this. Then Mr Oma, who now was driving, said no, it was his last car that ours was like!! How funny. We did give a different friend a lift home from the theatre last night to save him a walk so that must have sparked it off.

                            Have a good day

                              Good morning, ladies.

I'm just surfacing after my usual Tuesday of running round like a scalded cat. (Sorry Oma, I hope your hand is feeling better). Do you every get too tired to sleep? That's how I felt last night! I'd gone over to get GD2 first thing. She was in her mischievous mood and chatty with it - all day, bless her. She's so sweet and funny but yesterday was non-stop. I put some washing on for DIL and managed to get it out on the line before we left. I took GD2 back in time to take GD1 home from school, and she was very keen to show me her maths homework, lovely!! Got back here just after 6, feeling very smug about having a chicken casserole in the slow cooker. Had dinner and went out to dog training. I thought I wouldn't take my handbag - something else to try not to lose in addition to all the doggy paraphernalia, so it wasn't until I got there that I remembered it was the beginning of the month and I had no money to pay! Finally got home at 11 pm, still mentally dog training. Hopefully today will be a bit quieter.

Gem - I'd love to see The Son of a Preacher Man. Glad you enjoyed it. How lovely to get such a nice text from your catsitter/client.

Oma - what a good job B was able to sort out your neighbours' lock.

Plant - it's such a pity that your GD can't find a good job working with animals, especially when she has qualifications in that field. My DIL1 works for Waitrose, and as you might expect, they are good employers. They have their own farm at Stockbridge, but that is probably too far away for your GD.

Leckford Estate, located in Hampshire, is the Waitrose & Partners Farm. Visit and discover our cafés, a nursery, a water garden & fishing & golfing facilities.

Qwerty - your Tuesday sounds at least as hectic as mine. I hope you're having a relaxing day today.

Enfys - your poor OH. I've never had diverticulitis, but once went to the doctor with agonising random stomach pains which he thought might be that. As it turned out it wasn't (I'd hurt my back in America and had bought the strongest otc painkillers I could get - Advil - without realising that they contain ibuprofen which I can't take!) So I sympathise, poor chap.

Glamm - have a wonderful holiday. Just what you need after your recent scare over Oliver.

It's a nice day here, and hopefully will stay dry enough to get a couple of plants in the garden. I got a cornus for the back garden - I want to plant it where a shaft of morning sunlight falls so the winter stems look good. And I got a Geum, which I've never grown before, for a corner in the front garden where I took out something that got too big.

                                Good morning all.
I'm going to get a huge sack and put all our ladies and their OH's DC and GC in who are not feeling very well and give it a good shake. I know , I can hear what you are saying, I'm all heat, I know !

Joking apart , Oma how is your hand, Enfys how is your OH, diverticulitis sound really nasty , how is he.
Qwerty are yo having a more relaxing day today ?
                                Glam enjoy your holiday

I have just done a pile of ironing and sorted out my clothes for our 4 days away , now OH thinks that 4 pairs of trousers, several tops and jumpers, a fleece and a coatigan along with three pairs of shoes far too much to take , silly man , doesn't he realise that I have put several items back into the wardrobe, the ordinal items were far more than this.

Its a lot colder outside today, when OH went out he had to come back for his woollen hat, the days are getting colder

Bring me sunshine in your smile.
