    Morning all.
Zizi you plan to be very busy !

It looks windy out there this morning and at the moment it's not raining so that's a bonus.
Our neighbour has changed her projecting Christmas snowflakes to a Halloween theme, at night we now have witches, bats and skulls beamed all over the windows and outside walls of the flats over the road from us. It takes all sorts I suppose.
Our other next door neighbours still have their old sofa dumped in their garden . OH says that this place is going downhill fast. He tells everyone we live next door to DFS ...Damn F...... Sofas !
Undeterred at what we have next door I still carry on keeping our home and garden in tip top appearance and today , if it stays dry, I will be planting smalll daffodil bulbs inbetween the primroses and hyacinth bulbs in some planters to have under the bedroom window and next to the front and back door.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

      Morning all.

It's actually not raining this morning.after two days of almost continuous precipitation
We are going round to the surgery this morning for OH to have his shingles jab.He couldn't have it when I had mine as he was full of a cold.

Mimi,it's a shame your neighbours don't follow your example with their garden but from what you've said that's not likely to happen..

I've ordered some primroses for our garden so they should come soon and I can get them in. Then apart from general tidying up the garden will be going to bed for the winter.

      Hope everyone's day goes smoothly.

Good morning Nan2, Mimi and everyone.

        Mimi, how festive!

It is extremely windy here. It was forecast so we were expecting it. OH and friend are going to play golf this morning

My right shoulder is still very sore, and I have to work today. We pay one of our cat sitters in reflexology and today is her treatment. She is only in York for a few days, going back tomorrow, so I don't want to cancel her. I'm going to mums later if I feel I can drive OK.

Have a good Monday ladies, don't get blown away!

          Morning Ladies ,
It is wild hear but strangely not cold , the trees are shedding their leaves like snow ,
Cleared the garden of them yesterday and there are twice as many , I don't mind the wind if it means all the leaves come down together and out of the way .
Gem don't push yourself you may have pulled something or strained a muscle , hope it feels better once you move it a bit ,
Mimi our next door neighbour is a mucky trollop too but she's such a good neighbour I wont complain ,
Well that's a lie I will grumble and complain about the state of her drive etc but just to B
Clover hope G gets his jab this time ,
Nanto always something to spoil a pic isn't there

Well we waiting for TV to arrive home from the poorly TV hospital anytime between 9&2
B has decided that as we not going out to pull my downstairs loo to bits , at the moment he's taking the old tiles behind the sink off and the sink out ,
He's hammering something and I really don't want to see what mess he's making,
I might add he watched me clean the loo out this morning ,didn't say he was doing it so could have saved me a job .Typical man
Have a good day ladies xxx

Oma - you posted while I was typing! Well done to b for getting on with the job. In our house, we'd sit and look at it for a week or two first!

Busy, busy people, I am still not dressed, slept late, couldn't get to sleep last night my legs were itching. Had lunch with next door yesterday, crumbles very welcome. The gorgeous one slept on GD's bed for over 2 hours, then had his prunes.

We were expecting the wind but it must have gone further north to your area Gemini. Sorry to hear you have a bad shoulder Gemini, take care with the reflexology.

Primroses, love them, I haven't planted them but they keep popping up.

Mimi I would hate looking at those flats illuminated with festive lights and as for the sofa.

Hope you all have an enjoyable day, I am off to clean the loos and change the bed linen, when I get dressed.

                Morning all

Washing on but don't know if I dare go outside to hang it out so windy and rain is forecast here for a couple of hours then it's supposed to be fine.

Gem hope shoulder gets right soon sometimes moving it even when painful can make it better. If you stop using it, it can get stiff.

Mimi we think this might be happening next to me, the houses in the street are pricy to say the least, we bought our house 40 yrs ago when prices were reasonable now next door is rented £ 1,000 a month, I know this because it's the niece of my friend that owns it, the curtains are never open neither people works and DSS is paying the rent 😪 And the garden is full of weeds, kids ball is always in our garden and they never ask permission to come in and get it ggggrrr

Oma now you know you wouldn't let that loo go out of the door if it hadn t been cleaned lol

I am going out for lunch with my friends today in Leeds it's one of their birthdays , going to Prezzo not been before believe it's Italian and then a nice coffee somewhere , we used to go for a cocktail but since Clare died just isn't the same, OH has just said wasn't it time I was getting in the shower, now either he thinks I smell, my hair wants washing, it takes me 2 and a half hrs to get ready or he's got the time wrong 🙄 Anyway won't be here again today so try and enjoy your day 😜

Daisy I would not be able to do that. If someone took a fancy to one of them I would snatch it off them. Couldn’t be in our lovely house whe. We were selling if anyone came to view! I don’t have problems with husband re changing things. It is just once they are changed it takes ages to convince him to change again but one convinced he is like a bull in a China shop. Also we are usually very much on the same level of decision when we go looking for things. We both like seperate things and the time to buy is when we both like the same thing at the same time! Happens all the time.

Mimi my downstairs neighbour who we are friendly with has a bigger garden than us and we overlook it from our sitting room, I wish it was ours. Every now and then she has a little blitz I.e. chops the “lawn” and the. Does not touch it for another three months by which time it is almost a forest. Other than that it is a mess with a fridge, a fridge freezer, a bath (I don’t know why she hasn’t replaced her bathroom) and various other things scattered around. She has a habit of buying twinkly twirly things and some which make noises which can be annoying (in addition to the yapping dogs). We share a front garden, one half is ours, the other hers but she never does anything with it so husband keeps it looking nice but she insists on having her bins in the front garden which I find unsightly when she could keep them in her garden as we do ours.

It is gray and overcast here, ŵe are just about to go out to Kingston (on Thames) to look for curtains, Christmas presents (not got many to get now) and do a little look for a sofa and bits. We are off to get the bus shortly, Kingston is a pig to park although it does take a while to get there on the bus. Bye for now.

I had a good day Shoulder still sore but easing. I washed and hung out towels, did some forum backroom work, did a reflexology treatment, had lunch then went to see my mum, delivering prescription and audio books to her.

Had GS1 all day he went to the fracture clinic this morning then insisted he stayed with us rest of the day ,
He was fed and watered and SIL picked him up at 5

Oma, tried taking photos of the new curtains, but they just were doing them justice.
I usually have them made at a particulat shop, but they didn't have what i wanted, so i got them from Amazon.
Heres a picture off the site.I usually get them 90" wide, but they were getting to be real chore ironing them.
                                So i got 2 pairs 46" wide.
