GS3 has just messaged me, he is back from Uni. to ask if I needed a lift anywhere, he is going to take me to the dentist next week.

Qwerty, do hope the weather improves for your trip to London, GD is going to be so excited.

Oma no wonder you are aching, digging out all that gravel. Perhaps you will sleep well tonight.

My cupboards are stacked with food thanks to DG and I managed to get things needed from B&Q and Hobbycraft.

He's 2 years and 2 months almost Oma. Fingers crossed he won't hit the terrible Two's
I remember GS1 being delightful at this age, and nightmare a few months down the line

Just off to bed grandmas so saying night night see you in a week. Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday. Plant I didn’t answer your question about going to Windsor. I have been a couple of times and been in St George’s chapel, it was beautiful but won’t make it this year bye for now 🙋*♀️

Qwerty - safe journey, and have a wonderful week in the Big Smoke.

Oma - all that heavy lifting will kill or cure you! For goodness sake, girl, take it easy tomorrow! xx

Nanto - have you had a new hairstyle or just a 'tidy up'?

Gem - your GS2 is such a sweetie. xx

After a dull, chilly start the weather picked up here (hopeful for Qwerty's trip!) and has been warm and sunny. What a pity I decided on tonight's meal yesterday when it was cold and wet!

                  Good morning

                  Cute picture Nan2, happy shopping!
Qwerty will be London bound I imagine, I hope they have a lovely time.

OH and I have no plans today. We have just learned that our local branch of Homebase is closing in a few weeks, so we may go and have a look.

                    Good morning.

Just an ordinary day with no specific plans. I’m conveniently forgetting the pile of items hopefully waiting for a visit from the hissy thing.

Hope Qwerty has a lovely time in London. I bet GD was excited to find out about the trip.

Whatever the day holds for you I hope it’s a good one.

Good morning everyone. Dull and damp here at the moment, but not cold.

Qwerty - I'd forgotten about new clothes for Whitsuntide! I used to love that, although if I remember rightly they often doubled as birthday presents because Whit Sunday was often close to my birthday. Safe journey - I hope GD1 is excited about her trip.

Nanto - every time I go to the hairdressers I go through a loop of changing styles/lettting it grow/having it cut shorter/dyeing it pink. Wednesday will see me peering in the mirror trying to make my mind up for my 6-weekly visit!

Clover and Gem - same here. But don't think I'll get round to it today!!

We're not sure what we're doing yet. There is a fun dog show run by Cooper's trainer, and DIL2 was thinking of taking him, and wondered if we'd take Eva too. In some ways it would be good to see how she would cope, but I don't want to put her under pressure if it's too much for her. But DS2 has been ill and off work for 3 weeks, and DIL is exhausted (they work together), so we may not go. Usual Daisy family decisiveness and meticulous planning!! Not!!

                            Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all. A lovely hot day here yesterday but it rained overnight so all feels fresh this morning.

Enfys the waiting is the hard part , big hugs xxx
Daisy maybe not the best place to take Eva poor dog ,
Gem our Homebase is closing too , but they are building Lidl . Iceland and a few other shops in its place as part of a new development ,

Well usual Saturday for me scrubbed the downstairs to within a inch of its life ,
White washing done Darks done now the bedding is in , so ironing for me later ,
Its very dull but dry ,

Yesterday SIL came in with blood on his face he had managed to break his nose playing football with his work friends , going to have two black eyes today but its a straight break , then when they were going out GS1 had his guitar in his hand SIL bent down to put his shoes on and GS1 managed to swing the guitar and hit him in the nose

Then DD rang to say someone had scratched all down her car in the car park , luckily she was sitting in the car so they exchanged details , DD said this woman swung the car into the parking space too close and sort of slid down the side of DD car taking paint off from the back wheel arch all the way down to the passenger door

Good news is GS1 has been picked to play in the squad in a tournament in Portugal in July hes buzzing
