So much to catch up on again. I'm pleased to hear that the poorly people are holding their own. I hope that T's results will shed some light on why she's so poorly Libra. I bet it will feel like a long wk. Nan2 try to rest up & take it easy for a change.

My visit to the Dermatologist went ok. The one on my forehead has to be scraped then the sample sent to the lab. She's not sure if it's another benign skin cancer. She then asked about a lumpy thing on my eyelid. I said it annoys me as I can always see it out of the corner of my eye. She said they'd cut that one off. Oooo good says I ...two for the price of one.(Help, I'm turning into my mother!) My appointment will be around early June.

Good morning ladies.Doesn't look like a bad start to the day.
Sun is coming up.

Had a good night,didn't wake up once.
Went to sleep about 10.30,woke up at 5.30.
I was really tired though.didn't get much sleep the night before.
The ward i was on,was really busy and noisy.

DH is in hospital! He had terrific stomach pains last night, called 111 and a doctor came and after a few phone calls I had to take him in. It was quite late and I sat with him until 12.30 waiting for a doctor to se him but it was very busy so he and the nurses told me to come home. We are worried it is w blockage in his stoma but I won’t know any more until I ring the ward. Feelingmshattered as I didn’t get much sleep.

Good morning all . It’s absolutely pouring down with rain here this morning.

WeeGranny your kitchen looks wonderful. Your old kitchen cupboards are like mine and your new ones are like DIL’s ! The transformation is fantastic.

Nan2 younger DS has high blood pressure and the cause of that isn’t known , he doesn’t smoke, isn’t over weight. He works outside and has a built in gym in his garage which he uses regularly and walks the dog daily so he gets ample excise and fresh air. He is now on medication to lower his pressure. Pleased to hear that you are home now .Hospital is the last place you can get any peace, it’s always so busy .

Nana having your forehead scraped sounds uncomfortable, how is it now. Hope you don’t have to wait too long for the results. I find myself quoting my mother from time to time , “We’ll see “being one of her favourites whenever we asked her if we could have something or go somewhere, it all depended on our behaviour!


Gem hope the hairdresser has been too keen with the scissors !

Eldest DS came for lunch yesterday, first time we have seen him in almost a month, I was beginning to worry about him as he tends to keep himself to himself and that does tend to make his depression reappear.

Not much planned her for today as the weather has changed my plans for gardening apart from Tesco delivery I could be spending the day twiddling my thumbs

Enfys so sorry to hear OH is back in hospital.What a worry. I’m sure they’ll soon sort him out but you must be thinking “why” just when things were getting back to normal for you.

Raining here so a wet walk to work.At least there’s not much wind so I can keep an umbrella up.

DH has just rung me. He has seen docs, they say sometimes these blockages happen, he has had exrays and is on a drip to stop him getting dehydrated. Looks like he will be in for 2 or 3 days but he sounded better than he did last night. At least he’s in the right place and they are investigating.

Enfys - Poor OH - he's been doing really well, so it must have been a shock, as well as being painful and a worry. I hope they made him comfortable last night and it's something that can be sorted out quickly and easily. Sending you big hugs, and hoping you're not worrying too much. xxx

Nanto - so glad you slept well - everything looks better when you're not sleep-deprived. It seems that BP can go up and down for what looks like no reason - Mimi's DS sounds like a fit young man, and very active. I hope you're taking it easy.

Mimi - glad your older DS came round. We never stop worrying about them, do we!

Nana - pleased the Dermatology appointment went well, even if it does sound a bit uncomfortable. xx

Enfys what a shock , my niece who had the Stoma fitted just under a year ago had two blockages but they sorted them quickly apparently its not unusual when the Stoma is fairly new ,
After 50 weeks off work she is going back next week so try not to worry too much xxx

Nana important for any blemishes to be checked I had a patch treated on my face with Acid cream to sort it , it left a little pink patch that I hide with makeup but nothing to write home about

Hairdresser did a good job OH was rather scalped last time, her hair looks good today.
As she will now be playing golf this afternoon, I will have to get the bus to the station. She will collect me on Sunday though.

Morning your kitchen is fab Wee Granny, looks nice and bright. I have high gloss doors and only drawback is the constant wiping and buffing. Enyfs hope your hubby is soon feeling more comfortable. Nothing out of the ordinary here, dogs to walk and a bit of cleaning to do. I conquered the equivalent of mount Everest that was the ironing. We have brief spells of sorting stuff for the tip we no longer need, today I'm going to sort my craft cupboard, no mean feat. Cold and cloudy here with rain forecast for later. Time I hopped into the shower, I am definitely not a morning person. 😕

Morning ladies I have read posts on YEO but not able to reply at the moment, but I will, promise.
Do you think illnesses come in waves we all seem reasonably healthy and then one by one we fall like skittles or our families do
I am at the dentist this afternoon for the first half of my crown sorting , absolutely dreading it I never seem to have lost that fear of dentists from being a little child, so injections removal of filling what’s left of it , doing an impression of teeth for new crown and temporary filling put in ,then back in 2 weeks for new crown before we go to London for the week with eldest g/ d so hope it’s a good fit, hope all poorly people are ok including their families ,off to clean my teeth and try a bit of mindfulness 😘 wish me luck
