Morning all. Lovely sunny morning... so far. I was so cold yesterday and got very wet on my walk to the hairdressers. It was like winter again here. Serves me right for putting my winter woolies away.

meeting my friend for coffee this morning, lots to chat about as she is in the throes of moving house and is desperate for a break from packing. Have a good day everyone,

So pleased to hear your exray was ok Clover.

      Good morning, everyone.

Mimi - I hope you got back to sleep. Yes, I'm sure a cat fight would have woken me up as well. Last night i had the opposite problem. Eva can go ages without needing a wee - she has a bladder like no other dog I've ever had, but even she needs to 'go' sometimes. So she'd been sometime before I took GD and Cooper back about 4 o'clock. She had dinner, went to training, got home about 11 pm and still didn't want to go in the garden. I knew she wouldn't last the night so OH went to bed and I stayed up for an hour or so, then let her out and lo and behold - success!!! I think she just needed a bit of peace and quiet to relax. Don't we all know that feeling. Then I had to be up at 7.30 this morning (don't ask!) so I am in Zombie - walking but not awake!

Enfys - enjoy your coffee this morning. So far so good, weatherwise, but I think we're getting showers this afternoon.

Nanto - I hope you don't have to wait around for too long for your blood test.

Nana - I hope your OH is ok after the funeral yesterday - it must have been hard. xx

I'm just going to have a second cup of tea and then get cracking - hopefully in the garden while the sun is shining. Back later.

        Quick good morning from me

I soon finished my printing Nana, thanks. Sorry to see you and Mimi weren't sleeping well though.
I hope you feel less zombie like soon Daisy!
        You were up early Nan2.
Coffee and catch up with friends is always good Enfys.

Meeting this morning, hopefully home briefly, then off to collect GS from nursery by 1.

Have a good day everyone, talk to you later!

Sorry I didn't manage to say hello yesterday, I had to leave at 8,30, I went on a trip with WI to a NT house in East Grinstead, pleased to say we had lovely weather and the tulips were amazing. It started to rain just as we boarded the coach but the journey home took 2 1/2 hours.

Qwerty, I hope your leg grows back again before Birmingham and the ice cream sounds delicious.

Daisy, SLOW DOWN, you will be meeting yourself coming back.

Have a lovely chat and coffee with your friend Enfys

Nana, that was a sad day for your OH.

Update on car. the new car replacement dept. just called, checked all the details of the car and said an engineer will be ringing to let me know when a replacement will be available. Fingers crossed it will not be too long. My no claims was 5years and is now down to 3 and I have quite a large excess to pay. I must say they have been very helpful at Churchill.

Plant - what a lovely day out. Masses of tulips look sensational. Did you take any photos? Would love to see them if you did.

I'm glad to hear things are moving with the car replacement. I had my OH as a named driver on my car, but I got a huge excess when my OH had a bump driving his own car on his own insurance. It was so stupidly high that I took him off my policy, so if he drives my car now it's on his own insurance but only 3rd party. Not ideal, but he doesn't drive it very often. My car's 12 years old, so not of much value.

Will you replacement car be the same colour and spec? I do hope so.

I have four named drivers Daisy, I must say it hadn't dawned on me that an accident in there own car affected my insurance. So far they haven't but I am pleased to be aware of that. they are about to renew my Insurance so I shall have to remove my GD, what a shame, she was enjoying driving an automatic.

Morning. Nan2 I hope that your blood test results are ok when you get them. Sorry I can't comment on car insurance as I don't drive. Glad you enjoyed your day out tho' Plant. Enfys can I join you & your friend for coffee? Sounds just the job.😉

OH said the funeral was sad but uplifting. Will probably write more in my diary. Off to Costco now to look for bargains. Dermatology this afternoon.

Morning all quick post I shall catch up later. Sunny but very grey clouds looming in the distance. Whizzed round cleaning as OH sister and BIL visiting at 11am, plus I have a guy coming to check and give us an energy certificate. Never needed one in the past but lasts for 10 years T has her biopsy today, so keeping everything crossed for that.

I’m just popping in quickly too.
I’m in the middle of giving the kitchen a “good going over” so mustn’t lose the momentum.

Libra I hope all goes well for T’s biopsy.Poor girl, she’s having to go through so much.

Mimi that was a shock awakening.
Yesterday I dozed off inadvertently about half an hour before the Tesco delivery was due and the ringing of the doorbell had me leaping to my feet like a scared gazelle (or should I say. more like a wildebeest ) He was really early and if he’d come to time I would have been awake as I only usually sleep for about 10 minutes.

Oma - we can only go without sleep for a little while - glad you got your Nana Nap - but poor Clover getting such a rude awakening from her 10 minutes. B's definitely a keeper - flowers AND rhubarb and ginger jam! Fantastic.

Libra - poor T. I hope she can sleep the worst of the soreness off, and that the results are good. I think the estate agents have to show an energy rating for all properties now - more red tape.

Plant - what a pity, your GD really enjoyed driving your car. Would it make a big difference to your insurance?

After a few hours of heavy rain showers, it's bright and sunny again.
