Well that was 2 hours of my life I won't get back, as they say! OH and I went to an interesting sounding talk, in the village. By a married couple who are forensic scientists , and he had worked for the police, and do DNA profiling etc, and have advised authors on crime writing.
Well, it was far too technical for the average person. The husband spoke far too quietly and no one could really hear him. The woman had better volume, but a strong Scottish accent.
The proceeds were for a good cause, the hall which will eventually have the new library attached so I was happy to contribute. But wished we had paid the money and left!!

GS and I had a nice day. Teddy Bear Cafe for lunch, then down to the river for a 45 minute cruise, then an ice cream from the ice cream boat. Back to the car and home for GS's playbath and tea, before his mum came for him.

I hope your sore mouth soon clears up Mimi.

Good that they know what is causing OH's rash Oma, but not much fun for him, and Boo to the back to twice weekly hospital visits!

Morning all . It's raining here today but I'm finding it very hot, OH keeps looking at me as if I am mad.
Going to the hairdresser later this morning, it's surprising how quickly it grows, obviously all my energy goes into growing hair.

Woke this morning to find that I appear to have had Botox on my lips. Remember Lesley Ash ? That's me at the moment. My mouth isn't as painful as yesterday, just a burning feeling in my left cheek, if it's no better by tomorrow I will ring my dentist. I think the swollen lips may well be an allergic reaction to the liquid I have been applying to the inside of my lips and cheeks! I still feel as if I have been smacked in the mouth though!

Hope me all the little ones back to school ok , Facebook is full of children stood in front of doors , all looking very smart and keen for the days ahead of them .

Daisy went on Sunday Oma, so sorry they are having this un settled weather, they deserve a restful holiday after helping the family out all summer.

I'm back, baby now napping,
The weather is appalling. Non stop rain since yesterday evening. OH set off to play a golf match at 9.45. I can only hope they have abandoned it and are in the clubhouse!
A day inside for GS and me, apart from collecting GD from school. If it is still raining we will get wet, as we are not allowed to park anywhere close to school.

I truly hope poor Daisy and Mr Daisy are not having this weather! When you have dog with you it must be harder - you can't just sit in restaurants and cinemas and look round museums I presume .

You are having no fun with that mouth of yours Mimi! It does sound a bit like an allergic reaction.

Ikea and a rash, your OH knows how to enjoy life Oma!!

Well Gem I took him for breakfast in their Café first , then he went and sat in the car while I went for my Napkins (500) and have a nose around but not much has changed bought a few useless things as you do taking him to Aldi later ,I'm spoiling him hahaha
Mimi get to the dentist it sounds like a reaction but you never know, are you in pain with it ? it does sound nasty .
Plant I'm sure they have their weatherproofs with them and the dog wont mind , xxx

Just back from the hairdresser, honestly the sights you see . Two young women came from the new houses that have just been built , one in a bright pink fluffy dressing gown with it billowing open in the breeze to reveal a pair of pyjamas , the other had no dressing on but was wearing a pair of pyjamas but at least she had a 'nod' to the weather , she was wearing knee high boots ! You couldn't make it up !
They then wandered around the shops , buying nothing , just browsing .

Nothing going on here OH cleaning inside windows as window cleaner came yesterday hence the rain ☔️

I am completely lost today no babies, ironed for 2 hrs holiday washing included now shortening curtains havnt sewn for yonks bacon and egg for tea and that just about sums my day up

I use them all the time for every meal Qwerty, I buy them in bulk as B doesn't like going to Ikea , I bought 5 x100 pks today and have 3 x 100 in cupboard so 800 should keep us going for a while hahahaha
