Oma, get away with your brillo pads!!! I am allowed to use nothing but aqueous cream, and not rub so it take about 3 days remove the marks!
I was given some lovely reusable cool gel dressings which I can apply to the area for a few minutes. I have 2 on now it is bliss

We had a lovely time with my auntie, we drove her out and went for lunch and took her to a couple of shops. She bought a new fleece, toothbrush and spatula and was happy with her purchases

    Clover, your walk sounds lovely.
    Mimi what a day yesterday

            Morning all.
Nanto ,we have seagulls who are very generous in the calling card department. Our car seems to be on their direct flight path.
We're planning to go to the Silver Screen cinema showing this morning. The film is "Hidden Figures" which my DD has seen and enjoyed very much.

              Good morning everyone.

Birds are so generous, aren't they?!

Clover I hope you enjoy the film, I haven't heard of that one.

Finally, after 4 weeks my mum and I are back to the normal Thursday routine.
This morning OH and I are on a fish rescue mission!
When DD2 and SIL moved to their house almost 6 years ago they inherited a pond of koi carp. We advised them to sell them, but they didn't. They also inherited 4 chickens, all now sadly gone.
Herons caught some fish, some maybe died of natural causes, the liner sprang a leak and despite regular refilling recently there has been very little water, and one fish. OH and I catching this poor fish this morning and taking him to a better life in the pond at the golf course ( we have DD and SILs and the groundskeepers permissions). I just hope the move and larger environment are not too much of a shock. His/her days must be numbered where they are at present anyway, and not much fun.

It is DDs best friends mums funeral this afternoon, so watching us fish catching may be a little light relief for her.

The birds are using our shed roof as training for their fledglings as they fly from our shed roof to our neighbours they leave a constant trail of their calling cards on the patio and on our recycling bins. .

Hope you enjoy the film Clover.

Gem its nice to get back into a routine .
We have done the 'fish rescue thing 'but on a bigger scale. ( If you pardon the pun ) A garden centre was closing and it was selling off most of its stock but the pool in the grounds where lots of fish were , were offered free to anyone who was willing to catch them
I'll be back soon DS has just arrived
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Good luck with the fish catching Gemini also pleased to hear you are back in a routine visiting your mother. Hope you are feeling less tired.

Enjoy the film Clover, we have a similar arrangement at our local cinema, haven't been for ages.

I am off to the hospital to have the device in my chest checked and then on to JL again to return one of the tops I bought the other day, tempted to have lunch there.

Bit brighter today, hope it isn't as cold when I put my nose out.

Fishy is free I had to sit with him in a bucket on the floor between my feet in the front of the car. We parked as close to the pond as possible and carried it over, he soon swam off. OH was elated, it has been her mission to rescue this fish for weeks.

Mix of sunshine and clouds here. Could do with a bit of warmth though! Back from Doc.....hand problems just wear and tear (i.e. Old age!). Painkillers when needed and keep hand warm! Off to vote shortly. We have Council and Mayoral elections. Still haven't made up my mind yet. Then I must dust down that hot metal thing and see if I can remember how to use it.

Well what a day i have had.Went in laws this morning, cleaned the bathroom and bedrooms. Mam asked me if i would give the conservatory a good clean, expecting a lot of people tomorrow
                            for Dads 90th.
Started cleaning the conservatory, and one thing led to another, and cleaned it top to bottom.I was shattered when i had done, but 2 of my sister in laws were there, and i thought they might have offered to help, but no.
Now it takes something to get me really annoyed, but for them to sit chatting really brassed me off, especially when they knew i had to clean my own conservatory, because thats where hubby has been doing his DIY this week.
Fortunately i had hubby to help me,(with our own ) and he has done a good job. he was annoyed as well that nobody offered to help me this morning. He said he would mention it to them tomorrow, but i said no,we don't want Dads day spoiling.
Not finished yet though,we have to pick the cake up at 5, then go for some more shopping for tomorrow.
Sorry for the long rant, but really had to get it off my chest. Hope i'm in a better mood tomorrow.

It would have riled me Nanto, would have had to say something myself, you must have been tired out. Hope the party goes okay

We've had a lovely few days in Wales, lots of sunshine and really warm. The scenery has been amazing and all the people we have met have been so friendly, it's been a wonderful break. Home tomorrow feeling refreshed and looking forward to more good weather I hope. Had lots of this 🌞 and quite a bit of this 🍷too
