Morning ladies another hospital day for us as usual , went out for tea with DD yesterday , I didn't enjoy it I was too tired to eat , came home had a shower and put PJ,s on then managed a very large portion of Lemon Meringue pie 😁 so I wasn't that tired , B said I didn't eat it I in hailed it hahaha well I was peckish by then 😊

Good morning everyone. Another bright but frosty and bitterly cold morning here. Nanto - I would swap the sun for 10C - is it a deal?

OH has to go over to see someone about some woodturning equipment for the club, and they have invited me and Eva along too. We're hoping she will play with their dog - they have a large garden. OH is keen to get her to socialise more, but I have to admit, I'm not so confident. I hope she's not too excited.

Oma - I hope you're less tired today, and the hospital visit goes smoothly.

Nanto - I like things clean, neat and tidy, but I need a housework fairy to get it that way! As fast as I clean or tidy one room, another becomes a tip!

Mimi - how frustrating to wait all that time and miss your hairdresser's appointment for no reason. I hope the cat likes the new portal!

At the moment the stupid, fussy , contrary, exacting cat refuses to use it. It's exactly the same as the other cat flap minus the huge crack down the front where a huge tom cat tried to head butt his way in . I give up , I'm never having another cat , I will have a stick insect instead, they don't appear to be so demanding!

Oma ,I did tell her, and also told her sister, DD2. She is likely to bring it up again with DD1 at some point!

A friend, one one my oldest, who I met at toddler group, is coming round this afternoon. I asked her for coffee while OH will be playing golf. She accepted and also suggested we could go to the excellent coffee shop in the village instead if I felt like it. I think I will take her up on that offer.

Mimi I have had previous test results from our lovely receptionists, you have to have your wits about you when dealing with health issues.

Our friends who have now died, fitted a cat flap to their back door and being very meticulous, husband spent a long time getting it right and put the cat through to check. They then had to go out and when they returned their very large lab. called Prince had chewed around it and left a large hole in the door, I expect he thought he could get through.

Ya ....she did it, she came in through the cat flap. (I'm ignoring the fact that there was a big tom cat outside that has frightened her so she most probably wouldn't have used it ) . Now all I have to do is teach her to use it to go outside and considering she did with the old cat flap I will not be holding my breath

Daisy I agree about the tidiness or otherwise of the house. It never ceases to amaze me that with just two of us in the house it never looks tidy. And also how can dust gather in rooms we rarely use.

It's bright sunshine here at the moment so I think a walk to the beach is on the cards for this afternoon .The problem is it's a lovely walk down but rather a drag on the way back up but that's the price we pay for the beautiful cliffs and wide sandy beaches.

Now back at CD's in charge of GS and dog while CD and sil are celebrating their 40th b'dzays in newyork.Using my new tablet to post! Also oh saw consultant y'day and he's pleased how the medication is keeping the cancer at bay. Hope all is well with you lovely ladies😀
