They are beautiful, Oma Surprise flowers are always lovely to receive.

We have just come back from our friends. It was unexpectedly sunny so we sat in their garden. Very nice, and useful for topping up the vitamin D!

Oma what pretty flowers. You deserve them.I bet you don't really mind B making a mess. A short time ago you would have done anything for him to be able to do DIY.
Daisy ,that was a welcome surprise that the plasterer turned up. Not an everyday occurrence
Gem it certainly was an unexpected bonus to have a sunny day today.I sat in the garden reading when I should have been cutting the grass

Plant, you do look very glamorous.
Oma, i bet all the dust was worth it.We have a cupboard that sounds similar to yours, but it's under the stairs.
Hubby throws thing in, but it's always me that tidies the cupboard.

Oma - the flowers are lovely. At least you have got a nice tidy cupboard - eventually!

Yes, we were pleased to see the plasterer. He's prepped both ceilings - they are now a rather fetching shade of pink - Ugh! and he's coming back at 8 am tomorrow to start skimming the ceilings at the ends without the new windows. Then the roof window man will come and plasterboard the window areas, and then the plasterer can come back and finish the skimming, and the electrician can put the new lights in. Then we can give everything a deep clean - and start decorating! I think I'll just move into the caravan for a few weeks! At least we had a Chinese tonight - and very nice it was too.

It ws a beautiful sunny day - and I missed it. I was on dog duty - keeping Eva out of the way and out of the dust and mess - but I will try and do some gardening tomorrow, plasterer or not. Clover - can I come and join you in the garden with my book, please?

Just a quick hello from me this morning, we are off to Cardiff for GSs christening (second attempt) . Hopefully it will all go without a hitch this time.

                    Good morning, Nanto, and everyone.

Oma - I do hope you are fast asleep and not reading this at the moment. I think you'll have to take to the bottle! xx

It's another lovely sunny day here today, so I'm going to try and keep Eva in the garden with me and out of the way of the plastering - it's difficult because they need the door open for ventilation etc, and she's such a curious and friendly dog she wants to be where the action (and her Dad) is!

I hope you all have a happy, peaceful and enjoyable St George's Day.

Mimi - an auspicious day for your little GS to be Christened. I hope it all goes well. xx

                          Good morning all!

Oma, you must be tired, I hope you manage another nap.
Mimi, happy christening day to your baby GS!
Daisy, Eva is like one of our cats - we have to shut her away when workmen are here, as she loves them all and loves to 'help' 😀

A break after 5 consecutive days of radiotherapy is nice
No real plans, but there are garden and household tasks to be done which OH and I will share between us. A friends garden is becoming overrun with lavender and we are going over there to take some today. As it is nice and sunny, hopefully we can have a natter and cuppa with them in the garden while we are there.

Weather here is beautiful. Washing on the line dry. Been out and cut the grass, make it tidy in case we do get the bad weather, that is predicted for next week.
Just had a lovely hot shower. Braising steak and onions in the slow cooker for dinner.

Went out for Brunch this morning to a little place on the coast , its right on the harbour so can sit and watch the boats coming and going , it has a outdoor seating area for when its nice and dog walkers sit out there with their coffees and lunch , the Café owners bring dog treats out and bowls of water for the dogs while the owners have a rest , We then went and bought GD,s Birthday card shes 4 on Wednesday , meeting her and DS one night at Smyths toy shop so she can choose her own birthday present . We back home now and my eyes are closing so I think I may have a nap , no sleep last night and all that sea air is taking its toll
