Good morning, Nanto. I think today should be better weather for us down on the south coast - yesterday was very wet! I missed the sunrise.

Good luck, Plant - I hope it all goes well for you today.

Nanto - it's not long now to your appointment, is it? Sorry I can't remember the exact date.

Awww, I've just watched two little boys walking to the primary school, almost staggering under a huge guitar case and an even larger instrument case - not a cello, surely! plus rucksacks. Good for them that they're walking - it's about a 15 minute walk with only one forest road to cross, but it will be incredibly muddy part of the way. It reminds me of when our DS2 went to that school and he used to go the same route, with friends joining him as they walked through the estate.

Oma - I do hope B is feeling less sore today. You could take him to Ikea for a treat if he's ok. LOL

Aggie - how is your hand after your op? I hope it's getting better and you're not in pain with it.

I'm meeting my friend for coffee and lunch today. It will be sad without the friend we have recently lost, but we can have a quiet chat and reminisce a bit.

I hope Gem and OH have arrived safely and their villa is nice.

Morning everyone, looks bright and sunny outside but it is blowing a gale out there, hung washing out hope it doesn't land in next doors garden....

Plant hope everything goes to plan today.

Daisy think you will be in B's bad books with that suggestion, we all know how much he "loves" ikea...

Daisy, I sometimes see the kids walking past our house in the mornings same uniform as my lot and it does bring back memories....especially when it doesn't seem two minutes. when they were there ...the stuff kids have got to take back and forward to school these days is just ridiculous, If we do want to do something after school we have to come home and then go back out if by bus as there is no way they can carry everything......hope you have a nice day, although sad, me and DD are going out today for a pub lunch, looking forward to that...

Just had a nice 30minute phone call from DS what can we talk about for 30 minutes, oh yes Grandkids.... K had a tooth out yesterday, she had getting up in the morning complaining of toothache so when DS had a look it looked like a blood blister, but it was an abscess, so they couldn't give her a needle or anything because of the infection, it was loose a bit and her baby tooth, but DS said she was brave, just cried at the end but he thinks it was the shock of it actually coming out bless her, she is on antibiotics but fine..

        Good morning everyone.
        We arrived safe and sound.

We are going to take advantage of our bodies still being on UK time by getting to the parks early the first 2 or 3 days. I will talk to you this evening

Pearl - poor K, she was very brave. I agree about all the stuff they have to carry to school. My DS1 quite enjoyed Home Economics but gave it up because he had a long walk from school to train and then another long walk home if I couldn't pick him up from the station. Most of what he tried to carried ended up getting spilt!

          I hope B knows I'm only teasing.

Pleased to hear you've arrived safe and sound, Gem. It's great getting to the parks early and heading for the attractions you know will have long queues later. Have fun! Which park is it today?

I am in my room, lovely and sunny but no view. I have been admitted and have cannula fitted, they have taken blood to check how thin it is because of the warfarin I take. I have filled in my menu, don't know how long it will be.

It it is a shock when children have a tooth removed Pearl

pleased to hear you have arrived safelyGemini

Morning ladies, I hope the weather is a nice for all of you as it is here. I managed to sit outside to drink my coffee earlier on this morning.
Daisy a trip round Ikea is my idea of sheer hell. Once you are in there , there is no escape . You are obliged to complete the whole circuit !
                Oma , that's good news about B.
Gem , good that you have arrived safety . Enjoy your holiday.
Plant shame about the view from your room , hopefully you won't be there too long before you are home again.
Aggie, how is your hand ?
If I've left anyone out I'm sorry. hope everyone has a lovely day.

As you know I went with my 4 friend to see our friend who has just got over her breast op.. We arrived with flowers, biscuits and cake, only to find a lot of her family and friends had the same idea. She had a house full bless her. Its lovely to see she has so much support and love.
Tomorrow she goes for her results and to see what next in her treatment . Fingers crossed it will be fine for her.

I have to ask , why when I have so much to do outside as well as decorating in side that this is the very time my back decides to play me up. I had very little sleep last night because of it and to be honest it's making me very cross......There is so much I need to get on with, sitting on my bottom () for most of the day isn't what I had planned
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Poor child having to get a tooth out ! I am not a fan of the dentist , Pearl ! I hope your stay isn't long enough for the view to matter Plant , Brian is a real soldier shopping with that sore hip ! Have a good break Gem . Mimi my hand is healing well and not too painful , alas there doesn't seem much feeling returning , but it was worth a try , hope the hip op is better if I ever get up the waiting list , I hope you back improves and your friend has a good result from her op

AGGIE lovely to hear from you was Jim ok while you had your op done ?
Mimi although you know what I'm like with my housework etc the only time I won't do anything is if my back hurts , Back pain involves everywhere, your legs, arms, neck , just about every muscle doesn't it , let it heal , when your feeling better tackle one job at a time that's the only way I'm sure you know that 😀

Great to hear you are off home Plant .
My surgery was in Day procedure and I don't think Jim missed me , DD stayed with him . It was like a mini holiday for me lol , tea and toast and made to stay in bed , then lovely scrambled eggs for tea ( served with mashed potatoes !! and topped by a sweet pancake ..... very odd lol ) Then home to find Jim already in bed and DD stayed over so I had a lie in next day

Plant - I hope you are safely home and relaxing.

Aggie - pleased to hear your hand is healing. I think the feeling can gradually return over time. I hope so for your sake.

Oma - I hope B has had a good day and is feeling less sore. xx

I had a nice morning - coffee and lunch with a very old friend, the sun was shining and it was almost warm enough to sit outside, which considering we were on top of a cliff with the wind coming in off the sea was very good. OH kindly did the shopping, so if it's nice tomorrow I can concentrate on the garden.
