UP date on my neighbour , remember I told you that she had threatened to burn house down and two police cars were hear when we came home from shopping , well turns out it wasn't the threat that made them come , while we were out a neighbour 3 doors down had called them ,she heard screams went into the back garden and my neighbour was dragging her 16 yr old daughter around the garden by her hair and punching and kicking her , now the 16 yr old is a very tall overweight child so that wasn't easy to do but our neighbour said she was screaming as she was beaten , She has never in all the 9 yrs she has lived next door even at her worse turned violent , she must be really suffering a bad episode this time

Yes they do Gem but I have never known her to be violent to anyone but herself so this is very odd behaviour for her

          Welcome

Oma, she must be having a really bad episode this time.
The daughter must have been so frightened when the mother was being violent to her.

Don't think it's a very good weather forecast today.

            Good morning all.

Oma that poor girl she will never forget her mum doing that will she . I wonder if her mum will recall all of it when she is 'well' again. You have to feel sadness for all the family effected by this .

My neighbour from across the road from me told me that early evening two young boys ( aged about 10) were seen jumping over our 4ft fence and running around our front garden. These two don't even live near us,they had been playing with the two boys who live next door to us. These two boys are 2 and 4 so why boys aged 10 want to play with children that age escapes me . Apparently mum and dad were in the garden and they just stood and watched while boys ran around in our garden. (These are the neighbours that have rotting rubbish in their front and back garden , we have had problems with them before)
My neighbour did ring me when all this was going but I had my phone on silent and missed the call
OH now wishes he had put up a 6 ft fence out the front like we have out the back but that nots the issue, when I was that age I knew that not only did you not run over our garden you certainly didn't run over a neighbours garden, in fact you never went up their garden path unless it was to ask for the ball back , it was called respect.

Good morning everyone, and welcome to May - hopefully a fine and sunny month

Disgraceful behaviour from those two boys Mimi.

OH is playing golf this afternoon. I will go and see my mum, but in time to leave at 2pm so she can enjoy the snooker final. If Mark Selby doesn't win she will go into a decline though!
After that I will go and see a few more of the village scarecrows and am also considering going to the cinema.

              Have a good day

Ladies just to let you know I have had an e mail from ZIZI, she doesn't feel in the right frame of mind for posting on GRU at the moment. She is dealing with a few personal issues, but sends her good wishes to everyone and assures me she will be back eventually. I gave her all our good wishes.

Thank for that Libra, I know she drops in to read from time to time, but totally understand if she needs time away from posting.
It's good to know she will be back and we look forward to that when she is ready, and hope things are soon much better for her.

                              Good morning everyone.

Final radiotherapy treatment for me, followed by an appointment with a nurse. After those are done I should be free, LOL.
My oldest friend is taking me today and we shall have celebratory tea and cake on the way home.

OH and I are invited to dinner at DD2s tonight.

I'm going to have a cup of tea then go through the wardrobe again and be ruthless , I may end up with the bare essentials after
