Good morning Nanto and all who drop in later. It's sunny here but inevitably it's getting less warm. I'll be grateful if it doesn't rain today with 3 dogs trotting in and out of the garden!

Enjoy your shopping, Nanto - I hope it stays dry for you on your snazzy pink scooter! Any news from the hospital?

I need to get my skates on. I didn't do everything I planned last night, but at least I slept ok so I can wizz round this morning.

I hope everyone has a good Saturday. I'll pop back later.

'morning Nan2 and Daisy, 'morning everyone else.

I hope your day goes well Daisy.

Happy shopping and lunch trip Nan2.

WG, some people just wont move with the times and we cant make them, frustrating though it can be!

Lizzie, what a good idea to transform the denim jacket for your GD.

Oma, how did B get on at the dentist?

It rained a lot here during the night, but right now it isn't raining.
We are going to friends for a meal tonight. Nothing much planned the rest of the day.

Pleased we are back to normal again, I tried several times to post but as I wasn’t at home most of the day I failed. My day was spent with GD and H. H is still coughing and GD has joined her but she needed to do some shopping so I went with her and went back to her flat so she could take the dog for a walk, I stayed with H. Her OH had been called from work to go to the hospital to be with his mother, I haven’t heard any news this morning. We have had rain but we now have watery sunshine. No plans for today.

Daisy, have a lovely day with the family, I am sure the three dogs will have fun.

Gemini, pleased to hear your visit to your mum went well. Enjoy your meal with friends this evening. How is the little one, growing fast I expect you see a difference every time you see him.

WG, I think you need to sit on your hands before you agree to take on any jobs with the ladies. Is it a WI or another organisation connected with the church. You certainly are getting your new home sorted to how you want it .

Nanto enjoy your Sat treat out with OH. Love the graphic.

Oma, how did the dentist trip go with B?

Hope you had a better sleep last night

          Lizzie
Bet GD was over the moon you could do that with your Jacket , one happy GD 😁

We had Storm last night GS was at work and DD & SIL went to a outdoor movie viewing at our local county park
DD loved it SIL moaned he was freezing even though they sat with blankets and had hot food , it wasn’t his idea of fun 😁

Well we had a eventful night ,
We we’re woken at 2.55 with what sounded like glass breaking .

B got out of bed and as he got his dressing gown on I looked out of both bedroom windows , No security lights on and no Alarm going .
We came down everything was secure ,
looked around obviously wasn’t anything In our house .

Looked out of windows again couldn’t see anything and no Alarms going .
So went back to bed but by then we couldn’t sleep
So we were back up by 4 and came down made hot drinks .
I pottered around and went upstairs to get washed and dressed.

There on the floor was a Mirror tile , the source of the noise .
We have a small sort of wave design on the bathroom wall in mirror tiles been up couple years now
One had decided it had enough and fell off ,
We hadn’t seen it during night as it had slid off and gone behind the bathroom door against the wall .
It Hadn't broke but the noise of it sliding against the tiles on the wall made the sound of breaking glass .

          Mystery solved 😁

            Good Morning everyone,
Daisy we are still having internet problems here all due to rain according to Openreach man who has been in the Road most of the week.I have been trying to do some on line purchases with no luck such a pain.

Today DD is calling in to pick up stuff for her brother for his room she will spoil him, they get on so well. Her partner G is going with DS to make final decision on the new car he is buying next week so we will be bored with the conversation about cars thats for sure we will just nod in the right places so we seem interested.

The ironing basket is empty ladies for the first time in a while the old back was painfree yesterday so I made an effort and cracked on with what needed doing.

This afternoon I am off to meet my pal for coffee & cake we have not meet up for 3 weeks due to the rain and my friend staying over one week-end my pal is a lovely lady she used to work with me at the Charity sho when I worked full time she now volunteers at Claire House Hospice Shop x 2 days a week in our local town centre its a clearance shop for the charity and all items are 99p so I always pop in and can bag some fab bargains for next to nothing.

Must dash now need to wash the mop of hair and shower before DD arrive she always turns up when I'm in the shower for some reason.

            Talk soon Glamma.
Have posted in YEO this morning for update.

Rain thought the night and a shower just after I'd hung out the towels!!

Had a better night's sleep thanks Oma! Hope you've sorted out your sliding tiles!

Been to the Craft Fayre in the village hall. Lots of lovely things, but not many people seemed to be buying. I didn't either! Prices seemed quite high, but maybe I'm out of touch with what people charge for home made things. Had a nice piece of Apple cake and a coffee for £2 which seemed quite reasonable!

Plant I have no intention of getting involved with committees! I don't mind helping in the background, but I've met too many committee members who are happy to pass their job to someone else to want to get involved. Best one was when we had a Burns' Supper and I was in charge of desserts. One of the leading lights in the Church couldn't make it, so she left all the ingredients with a message, passed on by someone else, asking me to assemble it for her. It was a Crannachan which I'd never made and I'm afraid I used rather a lot of whisky in it! I didn't even get a thank you! So after that I just quietly withdrew from helping.

Going to have a walk down to the Post box later and I'm going to treat myself to an Indian take away tonight. We've got a very good Indian restaurant in the village and it's only a few minutes walk away.

Enjoy the rest of the day ladies xx

Plant, thinking of GD's OH and his family x

Oma, glad it was only a tile that caused problems.

Had a good day in town and it stayed dry.

Did a good stock up at the butchers,so shouldn't need to go for about another month.

Doctors say if J has as good a night as last night,he can home tomorrow.

I'm sorry there seem to have been difficulties getting on here today. There's nothing wrong as far as I can see. Our host company have got a job to do for us, but I've just checked and they haven't done it today - it's not actually due till tomorrow anyway, and I didn't specify a time, but it shouldn't be disruptive.

I think this morning was probably something like weather or satellite glitches.

No plans for today, haven't even decided whats for dinner yet.

Plant, sorry to hear about GD's OH being called to the hospital. A sad time.

While we were out yesterday some shoes were delivered from Pavers. Forgot about them.
Just got round to opening them. Happy with them anyway.
Another slightly different pair to come in the next few days.

                        Have a good day ladies.

Good Sunday morning everyone. Sorry I was too tired last night to comment on everyone's news.

Glam, we get problems when it rains heavily - our underground cables are aluminium and the water table is high - they don't work properly when they're wet!

Gem, I hope you enjoyed your night out last night. Your pork dinner today sounds delicious.

Oma, what a scare the noise must have given you. Thank goodness it was nothing serious. I can imagine what your sister said when you called her an old lady!

Plant, any news about GD1's mother-in-law?

Nanto, it must have been a nide surprise to get the shoes you'd forgotten about.

We had a lovely family day yesterday. In the end our GS didn't come. The tilers were at the house all day retiling the bathroom (long story!) and someone needed to stay in. We're going up there later this week so can see them then. They're getting so grown up!

The GDs are growing up fast as well! They arrived with some delicious oat and sultana biscuits GD2 had made that morning, and they both wanted to help with dinner. GD2 made the gravy (with supervision from Mummy) and GD1 made an apple tart. They decorated OH's birthday cake and GD1 cut it up and served that and the alternative option - a GF chocolate cake.

We had a lovely day and the dogs were shattered! Bailey stayed at home with the GSs but Eva and Cooper had a great time.

It's dry this morning, so we're going to take Eva to the paddock in a few minutes. Back later.
