Good morning,
Daisy, it is the same here with the dark clothing, a good friend of DS2 was cycling a few years ago, all in black, he got hit by a car, in fact I don't think he has ever fully recovered from the brain damage. I love black, but after being almost knocked over on a zebra path a few years ago in a black coat I now try to either have a lighter colour or wear reflection. I "won" a back pack a few years ago from the post code lottery, it all has reflective zips, strips etc, in fact it is made from re-cycled bottles, I thought one of the girls would like it for school, but no, it wasn't big enough, I use if for the gym and on dark mornings all the cars stop for me at the roundabouts etc
I was out for my walk through the woods yesterday afternoon, I was stood chatting to a friend, he was just going to take his little dog for the walk, I saw DS1 cycle past, I shouted to him as he hadn't seen me stood there. He often goes for a ride after work, with being sat indoors all day staring at the screen he likes to get out. He had to get back home as it was an early meal evening, GD1 works in the supermarket and GD2 had football training.
I don't think I will walk through the woods today, it has been raining, it still is I think, I will stick to the paths today.
