We have rain, I really wanted to be in the garden today. I have got some ironing to do so that’s will keep me busy, a job I hate.

Nan2, sometimes a quieter day is good after several visitors!

Ironing is never a fun job Plant.

I was to have reflexology this morning but have postponed as I have cystitis. I haven't had an attack for years and I'm hoping this will be a short lived bout.
GD and GS2 are on their way. We are dropping GD at a dance workshop this afternoon and hoping to take GS to a farm/play park this afternoon. It's close to where we drop GD off. It depends on the weather and my cystitis however. Fingers crossed on both !

Plant,I couldn't decide what to do for dinner. Anyway I've decided on chips, beans and egg.

Ironing is my pet hate, I iron the same day I wash and dry because I dread seeing a pile of ironing waiting to be done.

Wasn’t well yesterday with tummy and didn’t sleep well the night before ,so I went to bed at 10pm expecting to sleep,
It didn’t happen so I got up again at 11 and came downstairs watched a film and rubbish TV till 4,

Went to bed in the spare room at the back so as not to disturb B fell into a deep sleep only to be woken at 4.50 with the screeching of tyres then a huge bang ,

Behind our fence is the estates perimeter road that’s usually quiet but it on a bend and cars drive far too fast there.
We have had several bad accidents with drivers losing control on the bend,

Anyway whoever smashed into the lamppost and left half the car strewn across the road did a runner.

The lamppost they hit was only re instated on Wednesday after someone knocked it down crashing in the same spot the week before,

Our neighbour called the police and her 22 yr old daughter went round with a torch to warn any approaching cars of the debris on the road ,

She stood there for Two hours before the police arrived .
No hurry even though half the car was in the road,

Whoever made a run for it must have been hurt the car was almost in half .

The council in their wisdom said not enough accidents happen to warrant putting any kind of traffic calming measures in .
What does it take a Death maybe before they act ,
Shocking .

I went to do the plants at the centre this morning and there was a card hanging in the huge plant, it was to thank me for looking after the plants so good, it was open house at the new location yesterday and the note stated that they got so many compliments about all the lovely plants!! So, at least I know it is appreciated!!!

Daisy, your holiday will be drawing to a close, I bet you have all enjoyed it, I used to love taking the girls when they were younger, we had some lovely times together. We still do but the ones when they were younger have special memories.

A day of board games and being able just to relax have some fun and to chat , not very often you can get a chance for a good old natter with both the girls together i bet .

They must be sick of renewing them.

Watched a police officer walk up and down the road a couple of times about hour ago then get back into his car , the car bumper is on the grass verge still he gave it a kick then walked away 🙄

Plenty of water and the cystitis sachets seems to have knocked the attack on the head, thank goodness . Not quite gone but much better. We dropped GD at her dance workshop and went to the museum of farming with GS2. We have an annual pass so it was free. There is so much to see and do there and he loves it. We had a lovely afternoon
GD is at her workshop until 7 so DD will pick her up after collecting GS from us .

We aren't going out today,hubby is putting another outside socket in because we are moving the water feature.
Already got 3 outdoor sockets but not where he wants to move it to.

Good morning everyone.

Fish and chips, good choice Nan2! We had then the night we got back from our holiday.

It's very windy here. A bit of sun and a bit of cloud, but definitely windy.
Cystitis seems almost gone, I will continue with the water today.
I am going for a deep tissue massage for my neck and shoulders this morning in the hopes it will help the pain in my left shoulder and arm. My usual therapist is booked up (I have an appointment with her next month) I have been to this one before and she is good. She is a lot more expensive than my regular one, who gives me friends and family rate, and I don't like her as much. That shouldn't matter though if she gets the job done! Also its much shorter drive to reach her. I couldn't afford to use her regularly but I hope 2 treatments will sort this out. I am going to be in enough pain after my knee op without going into it with extra pain!
No other plans today, or all weekend really.

We had Fish & Chips the same day as Gem did , very nice they were to.

I have done my weekend blitz a dark wash is done now relaxing with a cupper waiting for SIL ,
He and DD are going to the flat and he’s picking ladders up to take .
We are going on Monday , we bought GS new lighting for all through the flat B will put them up if DD has finished painting the ceilings.
They only small ladders and as long as I hold on to him he will be fine climbing them ,
Mind you our DD said it will be a cross between the blind leading the blind and the Chuckle brothers 🤣

No real plans today, GD1 woke me up with a FaceTime, mind it was 9am. Not sure if I will get together with her and H. I have enough Victoria plums to make some jam so I need to get on with that.

Oma, that flat will be the swishiest flat, those young men are very lucky. My DS started off in a tent waiting for a house to be ready. At least they will be able to get on comfortably with their studies. Take care on those steps B.

Well the horrible Satellite Dish is finally down.
Our Window cleaners DS was going to do it but he hurt his back
So our window cleaner came to tell us and then he took it down while he was here ,
He used to work putting them up years ago so knew what he was doing .
He cleaned the fascia’s while he was on and only charged £40 for all that work .

I can’t tell you how pleased I am to get the monstrosity off the back of the house , I have always hated it .
