I'm not posting here much as I am making the most of the week, which is quickly passing

Pool day today. We are having a belated birthday barbecue for SIL2 tonight. GD has a lovely bracelet making kit and we all have beautiful bracelets for tonight. Creating is still continuing as we speak.

Bro in law paid us a visit this afternoon, talk about moaning,he can moan for England.
Just as he left,bro in law from the bungalow came. Thank goodness he's not a moaner.

Just a quick 'good night' from me. We've had a great day out on the SS Shieldhall - sailed to Portsmouth and back. Got back just a few minutes before GDs arrived. Just trying to settle GD2 into bed - very tired and excited. I'll try and post tomorrow but may not have much chance.

Not much happening here.
I've got some ironing to do and a cupboard I want to clean and rearrange.
Going to change the bedding and clean upstairs.

I've got some slices of roast beef to use, so will have some mash,mixed veg and gravy with it.

Nothing much happening today need to pop down the road to Iceland and I have a few jobs need doing around the house,
Didnt sleep well with my shoulder blade hurting couldn’t get a position to lie in where it didn’t hurt,
B rubbed some Deep heat on and it did sooth it but not enough to sleep properly also it stinks 😁

Just been invaded by Harriet pushing a push chair, sil following trying to get her to clean her teeth. Not sure what I am doing today, nothing desperately needs doing. I had a visit from GS4 and his partner last evening. His partner brought me a hot apple and blackberry crumble, not a lot left now, GD2 and her partner who are here enjoyed some. GS4 and his partner are living with my son and dil, he has a cycle repair business. Mad house here today, GD working in my spare bedroom, her partner is working in a bedroom next door, H is here and a decorator is in what was my old bedroom next door.

Daisy, I can imagine how excited the girls are, they will love getting your pitch sorted and the awning up to set up their room.

Oma, I hope your shoulder blade pain goes soon. No more stripping for you!!

Nanto, I have some ironing to do can I post it to you. I iron as little as possible these days. I thought of you yesterday, I cooked a chicken casserole in my slow cooker, two lots in the freezer.

Hello everyone. We’re on our way and of course it’s raining. We’re amusing ourselves spotting funny Dorset place names. It’s hard to choose between Piddle Hinton and Puddletown at the moment! 😁

I suddenly had some energy and cleaned bathroom and kitchen floors with the steam cleaner. Now sitting with a glass of wine, cheers!

I didn't get the jobs done today that i intended doing.
Sis in law came, i've mentioned her before.
She's the one that likes to tell you how much they are spending.
Going to spends thousands on a new kitchen and a new car each.
We've yet to see these things materialise.

Had some sunshine during the day,but from 6 this evening till about 7ish,the heavens opened.
Sun is shining again now.

Daisy, i'll go with Piddle Hinton as well.

I think it rained in York too Nan2. Forecast is fine for Wednesday so we should be able to get our holiday washing dry!

This is our last day. We have been to the beach, had lunch out and had a pool afternoon.
Midday flight tomorrow, so home by late afternoon.

I will catch up around the forum and say a bit more about our holiday once I am back
