I bet you all expected to hear one of them had gone into labour 😁

Finn was allowed home for a couple of hours today but has to go back to have his antibiotics,
Fingers crossed they will let them take him home again tomorrow either for a few hours or for good ,
Hes doing ok so depending on results of recent bloods and what consultant says , we are hopeful .

Oma, thats a step in the right direction,letting F go home for a while.

No news of any of the new arrivals yet.

Cottage pie for dinner. I made 4 yesterday. 3 are in the freezer.

Bright now,but we have had some rain. Hoping to do the grass this morning if it dries up.

Just had a visit from baby H, she saw my IPad and insisted on sitting on my lap and playing with the keys, I put garage band on for her. Who says I spoil her! It is lovely to have them here but they feel like nomads but they are off on holiday at the weekend. I have a free morning, must find some petrol and then I have someone coming to clean my oven and microwave. They keep saying we are going to have a heatwave, but it is very dull here.

Lizzie, pleased you had a lovely visit to family but it is always nice to be home safely again, how nice of your neighbour to give you some dinner.

Gemini, poor S having that fall, hope she is okay to go and play today. Pleased to hear you are feeling a bit stronger.

Oma, so pleased to hear baby F was allowed home for a bit, do hope all the tests come back negative and they can get on with their lives.

Good morning everyone. I’m sorry I can’t share our sunshine with you - it’s a beautiful day here.

I’m pleased to hear Fin was allowed home for a while. It must have made C and M feel better. I hope all the new babies arrive soon. Do they realise how eagerly we wait for them!

We we had a wonderful day with our friends yesterday. I’ll write about it when we get home. Today we’re having a quiet day round the caravan. I’m going to do some painting later. I took Eva for a walk this morning and she’s fast asleep now. She had a busy exciting day yesterday!

I hope everyone is ok, and especially good to read that Gem is feeling stronger. Take care one and all! Xx

Thank you for the concern for OH. She seems fine. It was her electric trolley heading for the water which caused the accident!
It was lovely to see DD3 and SIL yesterday. Her bump appreciated the bath.

Our Wilshire Farmfoods delivery came this morning.
OH has gone to bring Ronnie the hedgehog back. You may remember we spotted him in daylight 3 weeks ago and took him to the local hedgehog rescue. He is fine now so needs releasing into our garden tonight.
We are going to our friends J and M for lunch, a long standing invitation. I have warned J I may eat very little and she is fine with that. It will do me good to get out the house.

made Butter chicken curry with rice , savoury mince veg and yorkshires ,Beef casserole with herby dumplings , plus two Bakewell tarts and a trifle
First we have to go to Sainsburys and Iceland for her , the list gets longer every week 🙄

Need to do my own shopping at some point

Oma it was good to get out. I managed a small lunch. I was totally wiped out afterwards though.
I had planned to see mum today but I'm not up to it. I feel so bad I haven't seen her for so long.

Good morning, a strong wind here this morning and much cooler. I went on the bike to Delft after the gym and got my cheese, had a few drops of rain on the way home but not much.

I got the old fridge out yesterday and cleaned ready for the new one to be delivered. A neighbour from opposite here helped me to pull it out. We had just done that when DS1 called in for coffee.

I have everything sorted and put away now after my holiday.

Would you believe Clare has tested positive for COVID this morning ,
Obviously picked it up in the hospital 😱
Phoned the ward and they were aware covid was doing the rounds but hadn’t said anything 😡

Martin is clear up till now , they are waiting for consultant to ring with advice regarding Finn but as Clare must have been exposed to it for a few days so will he .

Bless them you couldn’t make it up could you .
