Plant, another friend on FB posted a photo of her car covered in that sand!
I hope your SIL gets used to the new doors Oma.

DD has suggested we go for breakfast in the village when she drops off the children's things. I was still in bed doing Wordle when she texted, so hadn't had breakfast
I'm all ready and waiting for her to arrive.

Another sunny day and it feels quite warm in the sun. I think we're forecast a good weekend too. Might even be tempted to cut the grass. It's been too wet to do it.

Plant, after a pub lunch last Sunday, DD trailed GS and myself along several very muddy paths to see the alpacas/ llamas only to find there were sheep in the field!! Seemingly I'll be able to walk to see them from my new house. Think I'll wait until the paths are less muddy!!

Off to see Aled Jones tonight. I've manged to get an aisle seat near the front, so I should have a good view. Think I should wear something warm though a sit's in Ely Cathedral. I might go up earlyish and grab a bite to eat before the concert.

      Have a good day ladies.x

I am feeling so much better this last week I do think its having my new little man here he is such good company.

It would have been my 47th wedding anniversary tomorrow I do miss that man so much but can think of him without tearing up.

I'm off to the local Morrisons shortly to pick up fresh veg & some fish it only takes me 1/2hr there and back and I will take Henry for a walk on the prom whilst I'm out he knows as soon as I put my coat on that he is on his way out,it didn't take long for him to learn did it ?

Daisy get as much sleep as you can I hope it passes soon and you are on the mend soon.

Enjoy whats left of the day ladies xx glamma xx

WG, I didn’t know were Llamas and Alpacas near here. You are really teasing me mentioning your new house.

Glamm, That dear little dog is still amazing me, he has settle into your routine very quickly and is giving you so much pleasure. I don’t think you really never get over the loss of your partner you just accept it so that you can get on with your life. It is still early days for you.

Daisy, I hope you are feeling a bit better today, don’t fight against the tiredness.

Gemini, enjoy your breakfast with your DD, it is nice to have time with her without the children.

We had the sand rain as well, I managed to drop a (white) sheet whilst hanging the washing out and when I picked it up it was covered in the red sand, all the cars are the same.

DD kitchen is lovely but I can see why SIL isn’t keen it is totally different , it’s a large kitchen anyway as they knocked into the garage and extended it years ago but now it looks even bigger as it’s brighter , He will get used to it in time ,
He is putting new flooring down this week so may start to like it .

Buzz the naughty cat decided to beat Storm up while we were there ,
Chased him all over the house up and down the stairs then cornered him in the conservatory,
Poor dog Buzz gets his claws out , lucky for Storm he has a double coat so it’s thick ,

When we got Buzz out DD was stroking Storm and one of Buzz’s claws was in his fur just above his eye 😱

Then Buzz came to me for a cuddle like butter wouldn’t melt , He is the Devils child but so loving when he wants to be and I can’t resist hugging him even when he is so naughty 👿

Buzz goes from a lovely sweet boy to a monster in a second , Poor SIL is always getting bitten 🙄

GD’s cat who got run over last year was like your Buzz. He would rub around your legs but if he rolled on his back tickling his tummy was a no no, he would grab your hand and arm and dig his claws in or sometimes he would go to bite you.

Yes plant Buzz can be like that ,
He is fine with women and GS1 as he is his cat and sleeps with him but poor SIL or any other man he is a devil ,
SIL can only touch him when Buzz decides its ok .

He is a raggedy looking cat but I cant help but love him he is so loving for me

No Gem, we didn't have fish and chips today.
I did homemade chips, scampi and garden peas.

DS2 and his partner visited this morning.
Managed to catch up on the housework.

Weather has been lovely today. We sat in the garden with a cuppa this afternoon.
                        Quite warm in the sun.

It's a bit late in the day, but 'hello' everyone. I'm still reading all your posts, but to be honest at the moment, even typing feels like hard work!

I've pottered about a bit more today, and cooked dinner tonight. OH and our neighbour put up several new fence panels - another job out of the way. All gardening has stalled of course, which is very frustrating. Eva had a lovely afternoon, though. Missy's mum and dad took her and Missy out on the Forest for a couple of hours and apart from dinner, she's been asleep ever since.

                                Another beautiful morning.
                                Supermarket shopping for us.
This afternoon we are doing some gardening.

I heard we are going to have a heatwave in April, which will cause the virus to spike.

Hope all the poorlies feel better soon.
