Gem,my SIL get those meals and she says they are quite nice.
We aren't far from Wakefield. It's breezy here,so could well be there.

Oma and Nan2, my auntie had the meals for a few weeks several years ago when she was incapacitated. She told us they were good and showed us the brochures. I always said if there was time when we needed them I would give them a go. It's Tuesday delivery for our area, so I ordered some for tomorrow. They don't give a time (not sure if they do nearer the time) But I will be in so its doesn't matter.

How is your GD Nan2? My DD is fine but feeling heavy and tired!

Gem, i spoke to GD last night. She's getting a bit fed up of waiting now.
Nephews wife is due on the same day. They know its a girl.
GD and nephews wife don't know each other,but you never know,they might meet up in hospital.
Hope all 3 babies come soon.

Salad for dinner today.
I've got mince,onion and veg in the slow cooker. Going to make cottage pies.
Hope baby F is stable.

Hope Daisy is relaxing on holiday.

Finn is doing ok , they waited all day yesterday for his latest test results and none came ,
They getting a bit stir crazy stuck in that hospital room for a week now .

We had shepherds pie last night Nanto and B made a lovely Bakewell tart , most will go in freezer as it’s too big to eat all of it 😁

Got plumber coming this morning, when you flush downstairs loo and the tank fills it keeps running for ages , must waste gallons of water and we on a meter so it needs sorting ,
Couldnt say what time just sometime this morning .

How are we all today , good I hope ,

Good morning everyone. Just checking to see if there is any news about baby Fin. Mo news is good news but I’m sure C and M don’t see it that way at the moment.

We are going to see friends in Somerset today.

enjoying the change and rest. It will go all too quickly. 😁

M is pushing Drs now as nothing is being told ,
His cannula in his hand failed this morning so they had to put one in his foot ,
M said it wasn’t pleasant watching and hear him cry bless him .

Slept late this morning, only just having breakfast, the sun is shining. Not sure what to do today, nothing on the calendar, I ought to clean out the greenhouse but it will be a bit hot in there. I will probably watch some tennis later. GD1 and her OH feel a bit like nomads, not being able to get into their flat. They are going on holiday next week so that should see the decorating finished.

Oma, homemade bakewell sounds yummy, but having to make pastry and sponge is a bit of a job. I hope the plumber can fix your plumbing problem. It must be awful for F’s family waiting for results and they don’t arrive but he is in the best place until they are sure he is okay to go home.

I hope those babies arrive on time.

Nan2, fancy your GD and your nephew's wife being due on the same day! Our due date is tomorrow.

Our Wiltshire Farmfoods delivery isn't coming today. They have delivery problems so are coming tomorrow morning instead.

DD and SIL3 are coming late afternoon, for her to have a bath, to ease the aches of late pregnancy. Unfortunately their boiler broke down just after they moved in. They have managed with cold showers and showers in various family members houses. A new boiler is being fitted tomorrow as nothing the plumber has tried has worked. SIL will probably have a shower whilst he is here.
It will be lovely to see them. Visits have really tired me out but I am feeling much stronger now.

Yesterday OH came home from golf wounded! She had stumbled on the fairway, fallen on her chest and hit her head. her head was bleeding, and a friend gave her a plaster. We redressed it this morning. There seems to be a little hole where a stone may have hit her. She assures me she is fit for golf today. She had a bath last night which helped the stiffness from falling.

DD will appreciate the bath at this stage anything to ease the backache and leg ache ,
Fingers crossed it helps start her off 😁

At least she will have hot water for baby arriving , we had a week of DD ,SIL& GS coming for showers everyday a while ago if you remember when they had no hot water , no fun getting a cold shower unless it’s a red hot day 🙄😁

Hallo everyone, late today! I had a good trip home and have got all unpacked, washing done etc. I have just been to my lovely neighbour for a meal! She asked if I had much in the house so I told her I hadn't, she said she would bring me something then later asked me to go there so I have been, very good, I have certainly been spoilt by everyone this last week!

I had a really good time at my brother and sister in laws, we got out a lot and ate out even more!!!! I got to see my eldest brother twice, he will be 84 in December, we went to my mums grave on Saturday, it would have been her birthday so we took flowers.

Gem, hope DH has recovered from the fall.

Had visitors today,SIL and BIL. Its their DIL who is pregnant. They stayed for about 4 hours.
Every time one of our phones rang,we would all look at each other.
