Plant, it must be lovely to spend time with your GGC and watch them grow and develop.

Sun shining here too WG, but the golf course is closed due to waterlogging!

Good Morning everyone,I have no excuse for a lay in bed now, Henry likes to go into the garden about 7ish he is so good with his housetraining ,Plant he came with me in my car when I went shopping I have a doggy car restraint fitted on the back seat which I had for Poppy and he just lay down when I popped into the supermarket such a good boy no barking or naughtiness.I have stood outside the front door to see if he cries when I went out of the door and all was quiet so things look promising for when he has to be left alone, but next week I am having my friend to stay over whilst I go for an appointment for an eye check as I'll be out for 3/4 hrs and she has agreed to dogsit for me.

Oma I managed to get to Dunelm and got the items I needed nice matching toilet seat and shower curtain all ready to pick up on click & collect Henry stayed in my car whilst I ran in so no chance to wander around and find other bits & bobs,in the Range I just found some lovely little candle holders that match my picture frames they are kind of silver glittery ones look good with my other stuff they where in the sale for £3.00 each reduced from £5.99 so really pleased with them.

Going off to wash my hair now as going for brunch with DS1 & DGD at the Bistro near to my home we will sit outside this morning seeing that it is sunny so Henry can come with us he may be partial to the odd sausage I think.

Bye for now xx glamma xx

          Welcome back Oma!
          Salmon for my tea tonight.
As there is no golf this afternoon OH is coming with me to see Mum. Nice for her to see someone else, and a change for me from it being just me and mum.

I hope you had a lovely brunch Glamma.

I have divided the morning between housework and TV!

Wow,don't seen to have had a minute today.

            Hairdresser came this morning.
After she had gone,we went out to sweep up the pavement outside our house.
Surprising how much rubbish collects there.
Then we went to the bungalow,to take some stuff sister in law asked us to get in the duty free.
            Came home and had dinner.
Then GD1 came, followed by her dad 10 minutes later.
            All quiet again now.

Mum was OK. It's hard work but I've had worse visits to her ( and better!)

We, like I hope all of you have had a gorgeous warm sunny day. I went to the tip and then on to a house who had some alpaca fleece for me to put out for the birds. I went to meet her four Alpacas, didn’t get too close as they spit. I stopped and had lunch out in a very pleasant small old town. Was tempted to miss bowls this afternoon as it was lovely and warm, the sun room looked very tempting. I must get my car cleaned tomorrow, it is covered in that Sahara sand.

I bet your Mil was very pleased with her food again Oma.

Glamm, it does sound as if Henry is going to be very adaptable about being left, going with you and someone else looking after him. I would if I lived nearer.

As you say Oma, those little girls are such a pleasure, the eldest who is two is inviting me to join in her make believe games, I don’t think my own DD ever invited me to play with her but memories are very short sometimes.

Hello everybody. I've had a read through, but please forgive me for not commenting.

Thank you all for your good wishes. I don't feel as awful as yesterday, but I have to finish off our Sainsbury's order for tomorrow, and I'm now ready for bed again, exhausted.

Good morning, Daisy, I was getting worried, get the sleep you need and do not try to do too much.xxxx

I had a busy day yesterday with one thing and another, I got the olive trees and they are in the pots now, now I hope they grow or survive, I don't want them as high as the others are, then again, no chance on that.

DS1 phoned yesterday to tell me all the news he had heard about P&O, I told him that when I am at the B&B in May I would like to treat them all to a meal out for my birthday, a change of plan, they are going away for a week, so, I got in touch with the B&B and managed to change my dates, I will now be there on my birthday weekend, I am waiting for a reply from DS2, they are still not feeling well, then I can book for us all.

Glamm, you must be so pleased with the dog, the dog will be pleased with you as well.

Gem, I do hope that you all stay clear of the virus, what date do you go on holiday? My friend from Scotland is going to Australia a week on Monday and he is hoping he stays clear, they are still stricter with the masks in Scotland. From Monday we don't have to wear them on public transport etc.

The usual Friday double school pick up this afternoon. I must get petrol on the way.

I hope all the poorly ones are feeling a bit better today. Daisy get all the rest you can

We have another sunny day, it was so mild yesterday, I didn’t need a coat. The walking habit during lockdown seems to be continuing in the village, cafe on the green still serving drinks and sandwiches through a hatch. I hope they have done well as it was very enterprising of him to carry on serving by installing a hatch in the door. I am going to get the Sahara sand washed off my car before going to Waitrose.

Gemini, the 9th April is looking quite close now. Have a nice time with the GC.

Lizzie, pleased you were able to change your booking. I hope the olive trees survive in your care.
