good morning everyone, very sunny again. I had a busy day helping DS2 and DIL in their meadow, soooooo many branches etc etc. The eldest daughter was there with her daughter, she is 5 months now, cute.

Yes Gem, our Mothers day is in May. A lovely photo of you and DD3.

I have just been to synergy? I do like it.

I have ordered a strong chain lock for the bike.

It can’t be long now before your holiday Gemini. Good idea to upgrade your protection, I must look for those masks. If I were you I would keep away from shops, restaurants even the library. Lovely picture of you and DD3.

Had a nice BBQ lunch cooked by DS, although we ate it inside as there was no sunshine. GS4 and his partner picked me up and dropped me back home. I am not sure whether to go to bowls today as I might have been infected by DD. I might give this week a miss, I would hate to pass it to my bowling friends.

WG, I hope your DD will be fully fit again soon. How is the house sale going?

Daisy, you are unkind to your OH, making him paint the stairs when he is unwell. My Dil tries so hard with their garden, DS has no interest in plants. They have a very small garden which they have had paved apart from one large central bed which their cat thinks it is his private toilet. The plants she and I bought last year are looking good. We unleashed the climbing plants on the back fence.

Good Monday morning, everyone. It's hazy sunshine here, but still quite mild.

Plant - how lovely, the first BBQ of the season, even if you did have to eat indoors. I do hope you haven't caught Covid, but as you say, better to be careful for the sake of others. In my defence, your honour, I tried very hard to stop OH doing any work on the stairs, and yesterday he finally listened to DS2 and took the day off!

Gem - it was lucky your nail lady tested positive before your appointment, rather than just after, and I'm sure S will do a great job. The masks sound a good idea. You can't be too careful at this stage. I loved the photo of you and DD3 - she is looking very well and so happy. xx

Oma - sorry to hear your BP is still high. Good luck with the furniture hunting. We ended up buying our online as there was none in the shops, but are very pleased with it. I hope GS1 can get a driving test slot soon. If he's ready for it it's frustrating keep having lessons to keep in practice.

Nanto - if that kitten was up for rehoming, I can guess who would be first in line. She's a cutie.

Lizzie - glad you got the twigs sorted. A lot of bending down, though. A really tough lock for your bike sounds essential.

We're having a late and lazy start to the day (no change there, for us!) but I'll probably put some washing on while it's still fine.

Went to Drs this morning , he has altered one of my meds and I found out I had been taking them wrong so no wonder it wasn’t working ,
One of them is to be taken at night as it works different to the other ,
I have always taken them together on a morning
As it happened I had taken them with me no idea why I just did and I showed him ,
all it said on the box was take daily , no time just daily .

He said he was going to have a word with the pharmacy I use and tell them it must have at night on ,
Well I know that now but maybe other people are taking them wrong too ,

We will see how they work now ,

We have been out looking for garden furniture but everything is too large for our little patch ,
I wanted the corner sofa style Rattan , they are all either too big or look cheap ,

We are now thinking two zero gravity loungers with padded cushions and a small table ,we have seen

We have extra fold up chairs for anyone who calls, It’s mostly just us two anyway so maybe that’s all we need .

Sun shining again but not as warm as over the weekend! I thought we were forecast rain, but no sign of it yet. Bee to Pilates but hip playing me up, so not as flexible as usual. Not that I'm very flexible anyway, but I was particularly inflexible today. However, I did enjoy it, but think my core muscles will ache tomorrow!

Plant, DD has gone back to work. Seems she only took two days off last week, but worked from home for the rest. She says she's still a bit tired, but otherwise OK. Thanks for asking.

Seems we are still waiting for a search to come back on this house. Had hoped to be moving in a couple of weeks but that looks highly unlikely now. All my paperwork is signed so it's just a case of the solicitor dating it when we're ready to exchange etc.

Hope you've got your meds sorted out now Oma. I think pharmacists just expect you to know when to take meds.

Off to meet a friend for coffee now.

Enjoy the rest of the day ladies x

Oma, hopefully the meds will work when you start taking them properly.
Pity you haven't got sorted with the garden furniture yet.

WG, hope you get sorted with the house soon.
Enjoy your coffee with your friend.

Sun is shing here, but its not as warm as it has been.
Early this morning,we had a few drops of rain, only lasted for a minute or two.

Hello ladies. So very sorryI have been absent for so long. I can’t believe how quickly the time is flying by. I’ve had problems getting in here today but finally managed it.

I have been very busy recently, have joined another knit and natter group and also a craft group so I’m out three mornings a week. All lovely ladies and we have great time chatting, Knitting and whatever else takes our fancy. I have Cooper here today. Poor boy isn’t well. He has just been diagnosed with cancer in his neck and had his tonsils out a couple of weeks ago. The vet has said the type of cancer he has is unusual and very aggressive so they have decided to forego treatment as it couldn’t have helped him and just make him as comfortable as possible. He is being spoilt rotten and sleeps a lot. So sad

otherwise, all is is ok here. The garden is looking nice now My gardener has started coming again, blossom is out and everything shooting and sprouting. I hope everything is good with you all. Couldn’t look back and see what’s been going on, for some reason it wouldn’t let me.

Hello, Enfys. It's always lovely to see you, but it's amazing how quickly time speeds by. You are certainly keeping busy with knitting and nattering. What kind of craft are you doing? Poor Cooper. But there's no point in putting him through treatment that won't help him. We've been through this with two of our dogs and you know when it's their time, but still so sad. xx We've just had a software upgrade, so perhaps your computer had to relearn/load everything. Let us know if you still can't look back next time you try. x

WeeGranny - I hope you're not too sore tomorrow. It would be good if your house sale could go through quickly then you've got the rest of Spring and all summer to see what your new garden is like, and to get properly settle in during the better weather.

Oma - I read somewhere that lots of people end up taking meds at the wrong time or in the wrong order because there aren't clear easy to find instructions. I do hope this means your BP will go down now. The corner sofas are quite big, aren't they. We were also warned to get reinforced ones with a metal frame under the rattan, otherwise they can blow away! I've seen zero gravity loungers advertised, but don't understand the zero gravity bit - does it make it easier to get up from them?

Nanto - it's hazy and humid here, but my washing dried ok - I didn't think it would.

Enfys, I think of you often and it's lovely to see you posting here
I'm glad you are so busy, but so sorry about Cooper.

Oma, I hope the meds change helps. it is the pharmacist's job to put the instructions on the box. They should write what is on the prescription. So either they didn't, or whoever prescribed them didn't write it on the prescription properly. I take 15 mg of the same drug. 10 mg in the morning and 5 at bedtime. They have found out that it works better for most people that way.

Fingers crossed for the house stuff WG. I know how stressful all that can be.

Did you go to bowls Plant? We test if we are worried that we have been in touch with anyone who may have it before we mix with anyone else.

After a wet dull morning it has actually been a sunny afternoon here.
We have been quite lazy and done nothing much all day. I have done a Sainsburys order for tomorrow and printed off the holiday itineraries for the family though. OH has been jigsawing and we had 2 games of Scrabble!
I'm going to make our tea in a minute and it's my online quiz tonight.

Poor DD Plant, I hope she's soon feeling better.

Oma, mum is ok. Still testing positive. Once she's had 2 consecutive negative tests she can go outside her room. The home will still be closed though until 10 days after the last person tests positive.
