Had a busy day.
Our car was due for the MOT next week, when we are away.
We could have gone to the airport in it,but couldn't legally have come home in it.
Hubby rung the place where he has been going for car test for over 20 years.
M, who does the testing couldn't fit ours in, before we went away.
Hubby was dissappointed but said he would have to go somewhere else.
M rang hubby last night and said he would open up an hour earlier today if hubby could be there for 8am.
That wasn't a problem,we are only a 5 minute drive away. It was very good of M to open early.
The car passed.

Had a coffee when hubby got back,then went to the supermarket.
Been washing and ironing most of the day and printing off holiday stuff.

We had a nice meal out with our friends last night. It was busy and service a little slow. We were in no hurry though so didn't mind.
OH has a golf competition today. I am welcome to go over to DD2s, but I have plenty to do here and to be honest petrol is so expensive a third drive that way in a week is a bit too much for me!

I have the minutes from last Tuesday to make sense of and type out, tomorrow night's quiz to finish compiling, TV to watch, not to mention steaming the hard floors which are a disgrace!

Good Sunday morning, everyone. It's dry here with a bit of watery sun, but bitterly cold - it feels much worse than the 4C it's supposed to be.

Yet another busy day for us. It's DIL1's birthday so we're going up there after taking the dogs for a run in the paddock. At least they will sleep on the journey!

I'm hoping it will be warmer tomorrow. We've got 4 trees waiting to be planted, and three fence panels to put up. At the moment our garden and next door's are open plan. They've got a puppy and I'm sure she will have lots of fun exploring our garden as well as her own!

Didnt get back to sleep so I have done two loads of washing , had our showers and put all the towels on a hot wash
We are out to lunch courtesy of our SIL today .

Nanto we both getting treated today have a lovely time .

Good morning, lovely here again, sunny but still a cold wind, I have had my walk and now sorting my bedroom out, I put the rug in when I got a new one in here, I do like it, but, it is quite old with a few marks etc so I ordered a new, smaller, one the other day and it will be here this week, I have just got the old one rolled up and will take it down to the shed. DS2 may use it in his garage, otherwise, the tip.

Oma, enjoy your lunch out, you are all being spoiled! Your toe will take a while to heal Oma. Sore with it! I had a lucky escape yesterday, I have a folding washing rack on the balcony, folds flat against the wall when not is use, yesterday I tried to close it with my hands full of washing etc, it crashed onto my face, knocking my specs into my face causing my nose to bleed, I will know better next time, luckily the specs are still in one piece.

I am trying something new at the gym tomorrow, I don't know if it is my thing but I will give it a try. It is called synergy fitness, this is for the older people so I will see how it goes.

Birthday went well, GD1 and baby H went home to sleep, GD decided she would be better in her own cot. My Sil decided to secretly order my DD some cakes from Bettys, well they were so small and so expensive they had to buy another one. DD had some lovely presents, friends popped in. I haven’t seen anyone this morning, I expect the GC were up with the lark.

Happy Sunday ladies,I have had a non eventful few days I'm still taking it easy so as not to aggravate my poorly back my lovely DD has been down and washed & polished all my floors and hoovered my bedroom for me whilst I sat and watched.I managed to walk down to our local little bistro with DS1 and my DGD for a mid morning brunch she loves going there and she talks to the staff about play school its lovely hearing her putting all her sentences together.

I was out for 2 nights looking for Oliver he had been home during the day and had eaten his food but when its time to lock up for bed he disappears I found out he had been going into Jims via his open bathroom window and sleeping on top of his wardrobe he is such a naughty boy he has me worrying where he is ? Jim has started to close his window so the Ollie can't gets in and he has to come home early.

Friday was my GGDs 6th birthday she was so excited as it was World Book day in her school so she got to dress up as Cinderella she took in a box of cup cakes for all the class to enjoy my DD had made a few and so had her mummy.Those 6yrs have flown by she is such a lovely little girl.

The sun is shining here and there is no wind at all I may sit out later and watch what is going on outside my front is in a sun trap and I could certainly do with sun on my bones at the minute.

Today I have made a chicken pie for lunch served with 3 veg & roasts Jim will enjoy it,I am fed up thinking what meat to do so decided on something totally different,I'll have whats left for lunch tomorrow.

I'll catch up during the next few days so all take care and enjoy the rest of the day x glamma x

We don’t always get together just the 4 of us usually GS and SILs parents are there too ,
Today GS was working and SILs parents couldn’t make it .

Plant it sounds like a busy but lovely Birthday , Betty’s cakes are expensive aren’t they , I know when we have been for Tea and cake it wasn’t cheap .
