Good morning all, on International Women's Day
I like that graphic Nan2!
Lizzie, you do so well and never give in.
Life is like that at times Daisy. Busy phases when we have little time to catch up!
I hope you are not hobbling about too much today Oma.
A very cold morning here, but the sun looks nice.
No library for me this morning as I have a dental appointment, booked before I changed my library day from Wednesday. GS1 from school as usual and his martial arts class.
Hoping to hear something from solicitors or estate agents today, as I have heard nothing since Friday. I will email before I go to the dentist if I haven't heard by then.
I was thinking of Enfys, Mimi and Clover who we haven't heard from for a while. Hoping all is well.
Have a good day everyone.βA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.β β Unknown

Morning ladies
A lovely bright morning but chilly.
Have to wait in for upholsterer today , the foot rest on my reclining chair the padding has gone a bit lumpy ,
Its still under guarantee so they coming out to sort it , no time slot yet so just have to wait ,
Gem hope the dentist isnβt too costly you get some kind of information from solicitors today π
My foot still sore but I noticed I can walk a bit flatter so must be getting better , thanks for asking xx
Daisy we have days like that , either we donβt see or hear from anyone for days or it all happens together ,
Feast or famin I call it
Nanto what a lovely graphic , enjoy your shopping x
Lizzie the rug is a lovely colour , is GD still getting about on her bike you bought her ?
How is your friend that had plastic surgery on her face , is it healing ?
Plant how is your hand today is it getting better ?
House work done and I did some ironing that was washed and dried early this morning ,
not much mainly blouses and a few pairs of trousers , jeans and t-shirts .
We weβre standing at the patio doors this morning looking at the crocus that has came through
When a huge tomato fell out of the sky and smashed into the grass π
Obviously a bird must have dropped it , would have been a sea gull or something that big as it was a big beef tomato and weighty
B said Iβm glad I wasnβt standing out there when that dropped πππ
Have a good day ladies xxxLast edited by Oma; 08-03-2022, 08:58 AM.Im not fat just 6ft too small

Good morning, ladies.
Nanto - lovely graphic. Enjoy your shopping. Will you have a coffee out as well?
Gem - I hope your hear from the solicitors and the dentist is ok. A busy day for you!
Lizzie - you have done so well with your health and fitness.
We've decided to start planting the trees this morning. I've walked both dogs. I took them into the Forest in the car and walked them one at a time. It was freezing cold, but the sun's trying to break through. We're going to Highcliffe to a beachside restaurant for lunch. It will be lovely if the sun shines for us. I'm picking one friend up on the way and the other will meet us there. Really looking forward to it, but must get on with digging holes first!

Oma - our posts crossed. I'm glad your toe is feeling less painful. Just imagine if that huge tomato had landed on it! It's not what you expect in your garden is it - raining tomatoes!

Gemini, it would be nice to hear from them to know they are well.
Oma, how is the toe today? Do you think it might be broken?
Bright morning here Nanto, your holiday is getting close now.
I have moved my appt with the nurse to tomorrow now as I remembered it is Trefoil Guild this afternoon and havenβt seen my Guiding friends for some time. Lovely sunny day here but I suspect it is very cold outside.
Lizzie, you certainly are a very determined lady.

Filling repairs done at the dentist. Hopefully that will be it for several months.
Nice sunny day to be out, but not many people on the bus wore a mask.
I have spoken on the phone to the buyer, and she said they have paid the money to the solicitor already and are fully expecting to complete and get the keys tomorrow. Once we complete they can access the house before we take the keys to the estate agents, as they will just give them to code for the key safe which contains a set of keys.
OH and I are going to the house tonight to bring away the portable heater we took over when the weather turned cold, and the two lamps and timers. To say goodbye to the house too, the only family home I have known as we moved there when I was 3.βA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.β β Unknown

Gem, at last everything should soon be settled, it will be strange for you leaving the home you were brought up in.
My rug arrived and it is the wrong colour, I ordered natural and this one has orange shades in it, after mailing and chatting I can return it, no bother at all, but, the more I look at it the more I like it! I have just been in touch and I don't have to decide yet, if I do decide to keep it they will return 25% to my account, which I think is very good. With that I can buy a new cover with the same colours in.You do not have permission to view this gallery.
