    Good afternoon.

I hope the doggy week goes well Daisy. Plant is right, stop and take a breath!

All ok at mum's house this morning . She was on good form this afternoon and we had a nice visit. I took flowers, a cream cake and Maltsters, and wrote the two March outings on her wall calendar Cafe outing with her friend, and Mothers Day family gathering at DD2's .

Moussaka (ready made courtesy of Mr Charlie Bigham) Greek salad, houmous and pitta for tea, so an easy meal for me.

Gem pleased it was a good visit with your Mum

Plant how old will your DD be ?

MIL was very good but I did get insulted ,
Talking about getting hair cuts , she had hers done today
She asked how much I paid for mine so I told her ,
Her reply was ..Well it’s not worth that look at it 😱😱😱 thanks for that MIL 😂😂😂

Honestly just as well I don’t care and can laugh about her

Social and other events in my life are always like buses - none for ages then everything happens at once.

Oma - your MIL just keeps giving, and keeping us all entertained. It's such a good job you let it wash over you!

Gem - I'm glad your visit to your Mum went well. I'm sure she enjoyed the goodies and the flowers. Tea sounds lovely.

Oh Oma your MIL is so rude!!! Good job you are used to her

Daisy our lives are so busy compared to last year and even more the year before , aren't they?!
We were trying to find time to see some friends we haven't seen this year, before we go into semi quarantine before our holiday.
We found one Monday! Luckily it suits them too.

Been to the post office, hypertension clinic this morning, last months appointment was cancelled.
If it wasn't for the clinic,i don't think i would have ventured out again today.

                    Good morning everyone.

Nasty weather here too Nan2, I hope all good with your BP check today.

                    Daisy, enjoy your art tutorial

Double school run this afternoon and GD and GS2 to tea. DD2 usually stays for a cuppa and chat when she collects them on Fridays, which I enjoy. The odd time when she or SIL, if it's him, can't stay (sometimes because OH and I are going out) GS acts as though his human rights are being denied

I want to go to Iceland this morning for frozen Pain au Chocolat and Croissant’s .
I like to keep some in , we both like them and sometimes SIL will ask me to put one in the oven when he is here .

I did intend doing a bit of a tidy in the garden but it’s far too wet so will have to rethink that .

have a good day ladies I will pop back later see what everyone is up too xxx

Good morning, very sunny here, I have had a bike ride for some tulips, still a cold wind but lovely to be out with the sun shining.

I have taken some sheets and towels to be taken to the Polish border, it is a church here that is supplying a camp that has already been set up and in need of everything, we can take things to a print/copy shop just up the road from me, I was going to ask if I was at the right place then saw the pile of things waiting to be picked up. I am going again, I asked if they could use duvets and they can so I will sort them out and take them.

My washing is hung in the sun and almost dry, sorry ladies if it is wet with you!!

Nanto, good luck with the BP etc.

Daisy, enjoy your day, I am sure you will.

A dreich day here! Yesterday we had hazy sunshine all day and it was quite warm. Sadly not today.

Took car in for its first service and managed to go to the wrong end of the car showroom complex! It's two year since I was last then there when we bought the car and I'd completely forgotten it had moved from one end to the other. There are at least 6 car showrooms on the site! DD found it quite amusing. But there was man wandering around looking lost too, he'd been told to come and pick up a van and couldn't find it! Saw him later with his van.....at the same garage as mine!

Went out for a meal with DD last night. Went to the Giggling Squid which I'd never been to before. It's Thai food and was most enjoyable. Had to divert on the way there because the traffic was at a standstill, but made it on time. Realised how long it's been since I've been out in the evenings. Strangely neither of us felt comfortable walking round town at night time.

Off tog et on with things, though I feel quite relaxed after yoga, so there might not be much done.

Have a good day ladies xx

WeeGranny, never been to the Giggling Squid, am told it is very good.

Lizzie, they are not collecting clothes and bedding here, request only money donations.

Spent an hour watching the antics of baby H, she loves being with my DD and Sil, she has gone for a nap now. Had a phone call from DS, he and my GS3 are on there way to see me. How nice. I have had my hand dressed again, the nurse says it is healing, I have to go again on Tuesday.

Daisy, have fun at your art tutorial.
