Nanto - it's very early days, and remember it's not that long since you went through losing MIL as well. Be kind to yourself.

Plant - good news about baby H, but her poor daddy. I hope he's not positive. It sounds as though SIL's birthday celebration will be quieter than usual - although probably better than this time last year.

Gem - GS1 will be glad to get back to school, I bet. Thank goodness he's ok. You got a few useful errands done, and I do hope you won't be the people who see the plants in the tubs at your mum's house flower (for all the right reasons).

Good Sunday morning, Nanto and all who call in later.

No frost here, either and it doesn't seem quite as chilly as yesterday.

Have a good day everyone. We've got no special plans for today, but plenty of things to do.

Plant I hope no one else in your family succumbs to the virus.

No plans today, we will see how the day goes.
          Stay safe and well ladies.

Thanks for asking, Gem. Yes, I'm much better. Although I've just spent 5 minutes sneezing non-stop the aching tiredness has gone. It's a long time since I've had a cold like that.

Enjoy your no plans day. xx

We are all testing like mad, GD2 has gone back to London because her partner is unwell with covid. We are expecting GS1 and his family, GS2 and his partner for lunch. Needless to say we are all testing like mad. GS2 and his partner have found a local venue for their wedding in November. I haven’t heard how baby H’s daddy is, I suppose her mother will be next.

Oma, would love a drive to the coast, nothing like a sea view and breeze to lift the spirits.

Nanto not a nice job for you and the family, so many personal things to sort through. A friend of mine used to say “Be kind to yourself”

Gemini, pleased to hear GS1 is well enough to return to school.

I haven’t had a walk around the garden to see if there are any signs of Spring.

Oma, DD3 is fine, but in a bit of a tizzy as they sold their house on day one and have now had an offer accepted on a house they like! Happy Birthday to B's brother!
                    Take it easy today Daisy.

Had a lovely walk along the coast and then popped into a cafe for Hot chocolate
It was surprisingly mild and clear ,
Lovely to get some sea air , lots of people out but not crowded .

Thank you Nanto. I've just got back from taking Eva for a short walk and I feel as though I've done a marathon! But still much better.

Gme - I do hope DD3's move goes through smoothly - it's got to be better than all the hassle you are having, surely.

Oma - I bet those sea breezes blew the cobwebs away. Poor Martin, getting serenaded for his birthday!

Plant - I do hope lunch went as planned after all that testing. When you get a chance to check your garden I hope you find lots of signs of spring. x

                              Yes, Daisy, definitely better!
I think it has all gone so fast they are in shock. As we know however it is all far from certain at this stage.
I hope it does go smoothly, with a baby on the way.
You may remember they had it valued last year and it was all ready to go on the market when the next door neighbours discovered an undrfloor leak coming from DDs!! All the solid floors in DD's house had to be taken up to fix this, meaning DD and SIL (and cat) had to move out for over a month. Thank goodness insurance covered it all even the cattery and accommodation while the house was out of action. This all set back the sale plans however, then they discovered there was a baby on the way!

Gem - everything happens at once, but I'm sure your DD3 and her OH will cope very well.
