Plant, what a wonderful surprise that must have been!

H came but as she had remembered our number plate as being white instead of black she had made the numbers in black. Back to the drawing board! She and her brother stayed for a cup of tea and chat.
GS2's Christmas present arrived from Amazon this afternoon, and my black cardigan from Damart, I am pleased with both.

Just decorated my front window and my front door for Halloween

We had a good day out today.
I got a couple of special Christmas cards that i wanted.
Also got a new decoration for hanging on the Christmas tree.
I buy one every time we go anywhere when the decorations are out.

My GG nephew arrived just after 6 tonight ,

Had a lovely mini-meet up with Plant this morning! And met baby H ..and her Mum as well! I've been at DD's for a couple of days. First time away from home since early August. Got my hair cut yesterday, did some shopping with DD, but otherwise, just relaxed. Popped in to see Plant and wish her Happy Birthday before I came home today.

DS went to see OH this afternoon, but I think it was quite a trying visit form what I can gather. Took DS over to pub for a drink when he got back! Got licked to death by the resident black lab!

OH has hospital appointment on Monday morning, but home is arranging transport, I've just got to be there by 9.30 so I can go with him.

Think tomorrow will be spent catching up on missed jobs round the house. DS didn't do much while I was away!!!!

Good morning everyone.

Congratulations to the family on the safe arrival of the baby Oma.
I hope the couple of days away did you good WG.

We are going out this morning for OH to collect a new phone from Argos and to buy ink cartridges for the printer.
No other plans today.
I will leave my Trick or Treat bowl with sweets outside the front door later. I have made a sign saying Please help yourself to a treat but leave some for others. I will put them out as it becomes dark and leave them until around 8. As it's a school night I imagine families will come early.

GD1 had her surprise party last night, I saw the photos before it started but I will know later how it all went. She definitely didn't want a party to it would be a surprise!

I am busy doing my kitchen tops, it is a nice morning so I will see what I do later on.

It certainly was a lovely surprise, WG looks very well.

Very dark and wet this morning, didn’t really want to get up. Clocks all altered, well those that don’t do it automatically and the heating clock, sil will do that later for me.

Lizzie, I am sure GD was happy with the surprise party, even though she didn’t want one.

Pouring with rain and very windy here!

Think I might open my Bake Off Box and make this month's contents......focaccia ! Think I'll also make a pot of vegetable soup to go with it.

Can't get motivated this morning, even after an extra hour in bed!
