      Good morning everyone.

Another busy day ahead for you Nan2.
Oma, it was wonderful to be in my own bed, and this morning not to have to wait for the engine to be turned on before we could flush the loo! I hope your MIL is well.
      How is your throat Plant?

I feel much more rested after a few hours at home doing nothing much!!
Today is my GD's birthday. We were so pleased when she chose a family pizza night at home for her celebration. She has other celebrations with friends over the weekend, but she chose this for today. So we have all sent our pizza orders in and we will be there tonight. The first family gathering apart from Filey since pre Covid times, and three were missing that day who will be here tonight.
No school pick ups for me today.
This morning I must get some petrol, this afternoon I will visit my mum. Oh and some unpacking and washing to do!

      Have a good day ladies.

Pizza party sounds good Gemini, lovely family gathering. Pleased the cat forgave you, even though he had a lovely cat sitter to cuddle up to. Good luck finding petrol

Lizzie, exciting day for you getting your bike delivered.

Oma, hope Mil is in a good mood.

I had a good nights sleep thanks to a brandy and 2 paracetamols but woke up to a very dry, hard to swallow throat. I have had some porridge and a cup of tea so not too afraid to swallow now. I am not sure if it will develop into a cold. I could do with getting some shopping. Haven’t seen baby H since the accident, will call GD today. Her OH has three days off, they might pop away.

Nanto, lovely graphic, busy day for you sorting out that garden, mind the back.

MIL was a bit down today
B's sister who lives across the road has sold her house and is moving about 30 miles away ,

Her and MIL fight all the time MIL moans that SIL goes twice a day and she has nothing to talk about ,
Now she is moving I think MIL realises she will not be at her beck and call and she will only see her a couple of days a week .

She was playing the ill card this morning and she has nothing worth living for

We get this regular when she thinks she isn't getting enough attention ( gets loads from them all ) so we are used to it .

She was a lot better by time we left and we promised to take her out for tea next week .

Gem how lovely to have a Pizza party and all the family there tonight , I think T is a very lucky young lady having you all around her xxx

Plant good to here you slept it makes all the difference when your feeling off to get a good sleep xxx

A late 'Hello" from me! Nanto - I love the graphic - thank you! Do take care, you've had a busy week!

Lizzie - I hope your new bike has arrived and the insurance is all sorted out. Have you got a nice dry day to try it out?

Gem - how lovely that the whole family can celebrate T's birthday together. Enjoy your pizza. It's ok 'roughing it' for a few days on a boat but I'm sure all the mod cons were very welcome when you got home - especially your bed! I hope your mum is ok, and pleased to see you're back.

Oma - pleased to hear the new oven is working. Fingers crossed this will last a while. Oh dear, poor MIL - she will miss your SIL. It's hard when they play the "poor me" card. You know it's just the way she is, but I'm sure your and B both still worry about her.

Plant - I like your recipe for a good night's sleep. I hope your throat improves as the day wears on and doesn't develop into anything else.

I was up and showered and dressed in time for the Sainsbury's delivery this morning. When I placed the order our internet connection was really dodgy. I changed my mind twice about what kind of potatoes I wanted for a roast dinner on Sunday - and the 'cancelled' ones didn't cancel! Anyone want enough potatoes to keep Harry Ramsden's in chips for a week!

I had to go into the village for a few bits and pieces (mainly cards) and OH asked me to get him some disposable gloves - latex or nitrile. They only had latex in the ironmongers, which was OK, but I've just noticed the size, printed discretely on one end of the box is 'small'! I think I might have to go back!

I hope everyone's ok. I'll pop back later.

Hallo everyone, Daisy, it is a lovely sunny day after a misty start. I am going for a short ride, then I can load the battery fully up. The man was here at 8am, I was the first of the day. I have the insurance sorted out, have to wait a week for the track and trace to be fitted, it is insured though so that is fine.

The man has just been for the CPAP, I have got a new one so that is settled, my new tap has arrived as well so I have had a busy morning.

Gem, have a good day, you will all enjoy the pizza party, I hope you get some petrol and find your mum well.

I will call in at DS1 and show my bike off!

Oma, your MIL will maybe feel they are letting her down by moving away. She will complain anyway!!

Lizzie - hurrah! A lovely new bike. You must be feeling excited that it's finally arrived. Enjoy, and take care.

Gem - good to hear the petrol queues are dwindling. I hope your Mum is ok.

                    Lizzie, a lovely new bike.

Gem, we haven't seen any queues here for fuel for over a week.
Hope you have a lovely visit with mum.

Oma, we get that from dad sometimes, about nothing to live for.
He will say oh nobody's been today. Then we find out he's had quite a few visitors.

Hubby gone to help clear the garden at the bungalow.

                    Lovely warm weather today.

The new bike is lovely, only, the young man didn't show me how to load the battery whilst it was off the bike, so, the bike is now in the hall. I will go to the shop tomorrow but I have an idea how it works, I don't want to break anything whilst finding out though, apart from that I am really pleased with it.

Bit of a meeuw day today. OH's blood count shows his neurtorphils are zero so he's back on the injections again to boost his white call count. Phone calls between hospital and care home, resulting in me having to pick injections up from hospital and take to home. Saw OH while I was there and he had no idea what was happening or where he was. Nurse gave him injection while I was there. It's this feeling good about things and going back down again that I'm finding really difficult to cope with.
Met DS at pub when I got home and were enjoying a drink when it all kicked off. I have no idea what happened but suddenly there was a fight outside! No idea why or what caused it. Quickly finished our drinks and came home! Used to happen when the army were in the village, but they're not here now, so must have been locals against incomers. Landlord said he was sorry we had witnessed it, but he did try to mediate. Note to self, don't go to local pub on a Friday evening !

WG, sorry to hear OH wasn't too good. i understand you not being able to cope with it.
Such a shame the fight spoilt your visit to the pub.

Lizzie, you sound happy with the bike. I'm sure you will learn how to load the battery.

WeeGranny - I really do understand that feeling - ok for a time and then plunging down to not-ok and back up again. It feels like a bizarre game of snakes and ladders. You don't really expect fights in your 'local' do you! I hope the landlord's banned them, whoever they are.

Lizzie - so glad you're pleased with your new bike.

Nanto - fuel supplies seem quite patchy, don't they. We've been lucky and haven't needed to fill up yet, but I'll have to do mine sometime next week. How did OH get on with the garden in the bungalow?

It didn't seem warm here so I put a fleece on to take Eva for a good walk in the Forest this afternoon, and was far too hot! We got caught in a stampede of horses to add to the stress. We were on quite a wide cinder path and about 5 or 6 ponies came tearing round the corner straight towards us. I dived for the nearest tree, dragging Eva with me (she wanted to watch!) The tree was mostly surrounded by bushes so I couldn't go behind it, just stood to one side as they thundered past on my left. Then more ponies came but went to my right - very close to us. There were only 3 or 4 of them, but they were close enough to smell them! Then a few seconds later a man with a small poodle-cross came past and his dog came tearing over to Eva. I asked him to call it back, but the dog took no notice of him. It came right back to Eva - and dropped the tennis ball it was carrying. Thank goodness Eva didn't notice it, or she wouldn't have given it back! I managed to drag her away eventually. We met a couple more dogs who thought they should come tearing up to Eva to play, but their owners had better control! It wasn't one of our best walks, and I was shattered when I got home.

OH is out tonight, so I haven't had to cook - just had a sandwich and a cup of tea.

No the wonder you were worn out .

WG its frightening how quickly the neutrophils drop and the injections are not nice but do there job .
Shame about having to leave the pub early through some idiots

Lizzie hope you get the battery sorted xx

Daisy, that was one scary walk.
A lot of the overgrowth in the bungalow garden has been cut down.
Waiting for a skip will be coming on monday.

I think its just supermarket shopping for us today.
