Good Friday morning everyone. It's been raining hard here, but the sun's just come out. Does this "sunshine and showers" mean Spring is on the way??? Haha - I live in hope.

Lizzie - do take care. You must have needed that sleep. I hope they find the missing lady ok. I'm very travel sick in cars and coaches, but ok flying or sailing, so I'll give the one ear plug a try and see if it helps next time I go on a long journey.

Oma - I do hope your DD is ok, and fingers crossed that B is as well.

Gem - have a nice after-school with GD and GS2. Perhaps S will have better luck with the weather today. It's frustrating when "they" don't believe a house is empty and has no tv. Yes, I hope to get on with my painting today.

I hope Nanto is ok - she's usually an early bird.

Oma, so sorry to hear the family tested positive, not good for your Sil’s business

Lizzie, go easy with that vertigo, it can catch you out. I was in bed for a few days with one attack. I have never heard of the one earplug.

I feel with this new variant it is not so much will I get it as when will I get it. Waitrose shopping today, I will take all the precautions, then I have a Zoom meeting with some WI friends this afternoon. I wish I could hear something from the hospital about removing this painful lump and with all the creams they have prescribed the Phoriosis is still not going away, I feel a bit of a mess. I need to find some test kits as we are testing before we go to bowls next Monday. I will pop back later

Plant, I will go easy. I feel better today than I did yesterday.

Oma, I hope your DD isn't too ill with covid and that no one else gets it.xxxx

Plant - my OH gets Psoriasis and it does seem to take quite a while for a patch to clear up, whether he uses creams or not. I'd certainly chase the hospital about the lump on your hand. Sending hugs - you sound a bit fed up. xx

Lizzie - pleased to hear you're feeling better today. xx

Plant, I sort of feel like you do, that we will catch this at some point.

I am busy with lots of emails and phone calls this morning, so will do some more!

Post just arrived, I have an appt. Next Mon week at a clinic which will assess what is to be done, they will check all over my body. I don’t think they will be concerned about the psoriasis which is pretty well all over my body, very bad where it first started on my R leg but little itchy spots like bites all over. I am anxious to get things cleared as I want to go back to Aqua when it starts again.

Have you tried this for your Psoriasis Plant? I discovered it by accident for my nail fungus, I have had problems since 1983, treatment, nails remove, medicine etc and then I got some Neem oil for my olive tree and read about the fungus, for the first time in 40 years I have toe nail again, my skin therapist remarks on them each time I am there.

                    Neem Oil and Psoriasis
Since there is no cure for psoriasis, neem oil won't make it go away. However, some researchers have said that neem oil can help clear up psoriasis when you use an organic, high-quality variety.

Glamm, our posts crossed. Sorrry to hear Jim is feeling a bit under the weather, I don’t know what he would do if he hadn’t got you next door. One of the frames in my rouges gallery has broken, we don’t have a Range near to us, It will be a visit to Dunelm or JL but I am reluctant to go into crowded places unless I have to. I hope too that you will get away with your DD in June.

Had my phone call from Dr about blood tests again ,
Making appointment for Hematology still think it Leukemia in some form ,
maybe a chronic illness that is long term that just needs monitoring, but will know better when see them .

Went to look for wardrobe door I think we will end up replacing all 3 it may be cheaper in the long run we have one more place to try before we decide ,

Update went to a little independent place near us and they can reglaze the door for £140 they come take the door away and bring it back and rehang for that amount ,
Didnt really want another glass door but it’s cheaper than paying over £1000 to replace the lot ,
Will take about 5 weeks but we happy to wait , the glass is all taped up secure so no danger .

I hope they can get to the bottom of this and treat it if treatment is needed Oma. It's a worry for you xxx
Lizzie, natural remedies are always worth trying, I hope it can help Plant.
Plant, at last you now have an appointment date.

After a very frosty start the sun is out! It may be quite pleasant on the golf course but it will be soggy.
I have finally managed to get the solicitors changed I will update that thread before I have lunch.

Good afternoon, wry dark and rainy here, will need the lights on soon.

Hope you can get some answers Oma, glad you e got your appointment Plant. Glad your are feeling better Lizzie, vertigo is horrible.

Heard from DGD this morning, she has tested positive now. She does a test every day before she goes to work so will now isolate. She says she feels fine, no symptoms at all. I feel, the same as you Plant, we will probably all get it sooner or later but hopefully with all the boosters etc we will be fine.

Went to WI this morning, very small turnout but nice to see everyone again. We hold our meetings in a room at a local church and we all wore masks, sanitised our hands, windows wide open and we weren’t allowed to use the kitchen to make drinks. It was fine, kept our coats on But didn’t linger afterwards.

I will be going to my knitting group in the morning at the library, will do the same re masks etc so should be fine. Everyone I know is being very sensible.
