    Good morning everyone.
    Sunny but chilly here.

Mornings and evening have that autumnal chill now don't they Nan2?
That sounds a lovely day Daisy. I know what you mean about tiring though. We all felt tired after the family pizza night on Friday!
Good idea to avoid the belt Lizzie. Is it deep water aqua? I only did that once, where you had to wear something and didn't like it so didn't go to that class again. Aqua here is generally in chest high water.
It's good to have family around isn't it WG? I'm so glad yours are supportive.
I hope there are no delays at your diabetic MOT Oma.
Plant your neighbour may have to do most of the talking! I hope he sorts out the sticking door and you feel better soon.

    Free day for me.
OH has blood taking ready for her bi annual review, hygienist, and helping friend J put up a blind.
I need to take out the September (!) newsletters, or at least some of them.
Quiz tonight, which I have set.

    Happy Monday to all.

Gem, wet belt is in deep water, like walking on air! Usually aqua is chest high. I forgot to mention, it took me months, if not longer, to get used to it, I would stay by the side to I felt safe!

Lizzie, I love swimming and am not afraid of deep water, but my friend C and I both really disliked the deep water aqua with the belt the time we tried it, for some reason!

Good Monday morning everyone. It's a beautiful sunny day here - hope it lasts.

Jut a quick hello from me - my arm and shoulder are really painful this morning and even typing is difficult!

Plant - I hope you're feeling better. Keep your neighbour occupied with tea or coffee and let him do the talking.

Oma - I do hope your pass your diabetes MOT today. I wonder if the iron tablets will have had any effect yet?

Nanto - I'm sure that skip will get filled very quickly today, but do take care - they're quite high to lift things into. The bungalow will be like new!

Lizzie - the aqua sounds like very good exercise, but you're right to do the bits that work best for you.

Gem - you sound well organised - enjoy your free day.

I hope Grauntie enjoys her birthday and the sun is shining for her.

My DIL1 is coming down for lunch. She's dropping DS1 off in Winchester where he's meeting up with a couple of friends so it's a good chance for us to have a girly lunch together - it was quite hectic yesterday so it's great to have a chance to relax for a while.

A beautiful morning out there now

Everyone I met when out delivering seemed in a very good mood. Sunshine and warmth has a positive effect

I did part of the round, stopped before I was in pain which is the secret I think.
I can do some more tomorrow morning, and Wednesday if needs be.
                Time for a cuppa now.

Sticking bathroom door etc all fixed thanks to my friend Roger. He also mended my letterbox. He does most of his work for people he knows so he passes news around. I found out from him that a very large building in the village that used to be a boarding school for the blind and has stood empty for years is now going to be turned into an hotel, I hope he is right. They are filming there atm, we were warned that there would be gunshots going off (blanks of course).
Very slow to feeling right again, I would have given any amount of money for a strepsil (sp) in the night, just been out to buy some. Petrol or it might be diesel in both of the garages near.

Oma, you certainly are getting an m.o.t I hope you get as certificate to show you passed. I loved the picture of Storm at his aqua class.

Daisy, have a lovely lunch with your Dil, I love to spend time with my Dil. Pleased that your family get-together went well. I hope you have recovered from the scare with the ponies. Do you know what has caused your painful shoulder and arms, sounds bad. Daisy my odd job man is coming to Bournemouth to see, wait for it……………..Englebert Humperdink and the following month he is coming to see Cliff Richard!!

Gemini, you are good delivering the newsletters but nice to see friends to chat to.

The pool I do aqua in has a deep end and a shallow end. I don’t mind the belt to do the deep water exercises, some ladies don’t wear them. You can exercise parts of the body in the deep end with the belt that you cannot do in shallow water. We use woggles too.

I must be feeling a bit better to have written the above, I can’t keep quiet for long!!!

First chance i've had to come here since early this morning.

This morning i did all my own cleaning jobs.
Then i baked 2 chicken, leek and mushrom pies, made a load of homemade chips, gravy and peas.
All the helpers came for dinner, every crumb got eaten.
When i went to the bungalow later,i was amazed how much clearing they had done in the garden.
Full skip is being collected tomorrow and they are bringing us another one. Should be able to get all the back garden stuff in.

Plant - you are sounding a bit better, but don't go mad - no all-night parties for a few more days. Get better properly. I hate seeing large buildings like that standing empty for years, so great that it's being revitalised.

Oma - I'm glad all the tests were ok, and hope your pupils have gone back to normal now. Sleep well tonight with a few less worries. I think I've only strained a muscle in my arm - I've done it before, and it does heal up ok, especially if I rest it. I can do that this week, and even after today it feels a bit better.

Gem - I'm sure the sunshine makes us feel happier and more optimistic. Well done on stopping the deliveries before you were in any pain. How has the quiz gone tonight?

Nanto - what a whirlwind day you've had, but satisfying that you all got so much done, and you kept the troops well-fed as well.

DIL1 arrived about 12 o'clock and we had a coffee and sat and chatted in between helping OH to parcel up a huge drum-like thingy OH had sold on eBay. He had to get it ready for a courier collection. I'd made soup for lunch and DIL left late afternoon to collect DS1 from his meet up with friends. She had to make a detour as the link road between the M27 and the M3 was closed due to a car transporter carrying 8 cars catching fire there. The driver was lucky to escape uninjured, but there are going to be 8 unhappy people who thought they'd be getting a brand new car tomorrow!

After DIL had left I took Eva for a walk. she was a bit subdued - probably a bit tired still from playing with Cooper yesterday.

                        Oma, glad all was ok.
I have to make my own appointments now for breast screening, unless i have a problem, then would be refered by the doctor.

Plant, glad you feeling slightly better.
Its better for the building being turned into a hotel, rather than being stood empty.

Daisy, hope the shoulder is easing up.

Gem, how did the quiz go.

Good morning Nanto and all who follow. Your furry friend is having the perfect start to the day - cosy dressing gown and cute slippers, pot of tea and a comfy chair!

Nanto, thanks for asking. My shoulder and arm are still painful. I know it's going to take several weeks to heal up, so I'm resting it whenever I can. Ironing has definitely slid even further down my 'must do' list!

No plans for me today, except my French homework! I'll cook a meal for tomorrow night as well. We've still got leftover chicken for tonight so I'll make something with mince and freeze half of it for another day.

I hope everyone is ok. See you later.

EDIT: Oma - good morning. Our posts crossed. I hope your delivery comes earlier rather than later so you don't waste the whole day hanging around for it. I hope you're pleased with it. I do hope B's blood checks are ok. My DS1 is at the hospital today for blood tests and to see the Consultant. It's always a bit nail biting isn't it. xx You've reminded me I need to put a load of washing in this morning.

Good morning, showery today by the look of it. Oma, that is a long slot for your bed to be delivered! I hope it is early.

Nanto, they would all enjoy your food, well done on baking it all.

Daisy, I hope your shoulder is improving.

My neighbour is coming soon to fix the tap in the bathroom.

                                Hello everyone.

Plant, we all loved the woggles in aquafit classes! In fact we own 3 of them which we take on holiday
Nan2, so much activity going on around there! It's amazing how much several people can do when they pull together. OH and I could certainly have done with as many helpers, we would have got mum's bungalow on the market much sooner.
I hope the bed arrives Oma. Fingers crossed!
Daisy, keep resting the shoulder. I hope all goes well at the hospital for your DS1 xx

It's a gloomy old morning here. Wet but not raining right now.
I may not deliver any leaflets this morning, wet letterboxes are no fun. I will get them all done this week one way or another.
GS1 from school this afternoon, and take him to his marital arts class. As a parent I sat through many, many hours of dance and swimming classes, with my 3 DD's. Mixed martial arts is different, but in some ways similar!

I hope everyone has a good day, and those who are quiet but looking in are OK
