I forgot to say, I'm so pleased they found the little girl in Australia safe and well.

Well it was totally seated at the library this afternoon! It was all computer work. Often it is moving books from one room to another then putting them on the shelves. Involving lots of standing walking , carrying and bending

I didn't have chance to pop online this morning before going to the French class. Then it's a very quick turn round at lunch-time to get to dog training on time, then got home at tea time to a load of messages and things that needed seeing to. So I'm just sitting down and trying to catch my breath!

Mimi - it's lovely to see you. I hope it means things are a little better for you. xx I hope you can upgrade the insulation in your bungalow - with all the talk about well-insulated homes helping with climate change you'd think there would be a lot of support on hand. (There may be support, I just don't know, but I hope there is). I hope the bills don't go up too much. The birds love the sunflower seeds, don't they! I buy the very big bags which last for ages and I think it works out cheaper than a lot of smaller bags.

Oma - you MIL certainly had you all worried! I don't understand why people are so reluctant to switch their mobiles on. They don't have to answer them if they don't want to, but it's a worry when you can't make any contact at all. My OH is another. Unless he's actually going somewhere like shopping he leaves it at home, often doesn't charge it and never switches it on. Then complains he can't hear the Ring doorbell which has a bell in the living room and also rings on our mobiles.

Plant - I hope you had a lovely lunch with your friend, whichever eatery you went to. What a shame if Christmas puddings are going out of fashion. They're my favourite part of Christmas dinner!

Lizzie - has the spray made any difference yet, or does it take a while to start working?

Nanto - how is your BIL? I hope moving in day goes well tomorrow - it's always hard work isn't it. Are you helping?

Gem - was being desk-bound at the library this afternoon less tiring? Don't over do things and leave yourself in pain again. xx

French class was good this morning. We are starting to get to know each other as a group and the teacher is lovely. I think she was quite nervous at first, but she's getting more confident and pacing the lessons better. I'll write about dog training on Eva's thread.

We're going up to DS1 and DIL's for a couple of days tomorrow morning. We're helping to put up a shed and possibly the greenhouse and will be back home either Friday evening or sometime on Saturday. It will be nice to see them, and I'll be able to go and pick GS1 up from work tomorrow evening. He catches the bus some days, but likes it when he gets chauffeur service!

              Good morning all!

Daisy I hope you get some rest and family time along with shed and greenhouse erecting!
I'm glad the spray is helping Lizzie.

This morning I will deliver some leaflets, with the help of OH. She's not on the golf course until 1 today so has offered. Whatever we don't get done I can finish in the morning. There is another round next week for local elections but I have said we cant do that.
I must get my signature on the transfer of sale form for my mum's house witnessed and signed by someone today and get those in the post. I forgot to take it with me to the library yesterday, so I think I will ask my neighbour.

I hope everyone's Thursday goes well.

I'll be feeding the family. Told them it will be jacket potatoes, which they all approved of.

It's cold this morning, but at least its dry.

Oma, it is a good job your OH seems to enjoy looking around shops, apart from book shops, antique shops and the wine dept. Of grocery shops my OH’s eyes would glaze over. Is your DD having a little break when she finishes her job tomorrow?

Lizzie, I hope that spray gets rid of your sinusitis.

Safe journey Daisy and mind that back!

Bowls for me this afternoon. I have Christmas puddings steaming. I must clean the bathroom with the shower in it, cleaned the toilet but haven’t got around to the rest. I ventured a bath sitting on the bath aid this morning, thought it might help with the itching from the eczema but it is not ideal. I had to have the water very deep to get any water on my back. If you remember it came from my Sil’s mothers house, it is like a chair which you lower into the water but you have to have the water so deep to get your back wet.

Gemini, you are good delivering the leaflets around the neighbourhood. You have to learn to say no occasionally.

Nanto, I too like jacket potatoes with prawns or tuna. In fact, I have a jacket pot and some prawns, that’s is tonight’s meal sorted.

Plant no no break she starts new job on Monday , she had a week off last week though .

Your right about the bath seat you do have to use a lot of water and they are not the most comfy are they , plus you cant lay down properly .
                          Enjoy bowls
I can imagine how lovely your kitchen must smell with the Christmas pudding , mmmm yummy

                            Morning all.
it's a nice sunny day here but very cold .We have been for a walk this morning, congratulating myself that I have been able to walk a little further than the previous weeks and what happens when I get home, I bend to pick up a bottle of cleaning spray and my back 'goes' . OH wasn't particularly synthetic . He moaned that I should be more careful, I can understand his frustration as I seem to be constantly unwell at the moment and he would wrap me up in cotton wool if he could.

Plant have you tried antihistamines for your eczema? DD is driven mad by the constant itching and she has tried everything that the drs suggests but it comes and goes of its own accord so she is doing her best to enjoy her 'non itch' periods.

All this talk of jacket potatoes is making me hungry!
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Plant I do find it hard to say no.
I hope the puddings turn out well.
                                I love The Range Oma

OH came with me to deliver newsletters and we got the whole round ( over 100 doors) done

We came home and had a warming cuppa.
Golf for her this afternoon. I have plenty to be getting on with so with so will stay in, apart from dropping in on the neighbours cat!
