I hung washing out this morning, due to the sun and high wind - with plenty of pegs. Not only did it then rain on my washing, it later snowed!! I hope OH and friends were off the course and in the clubhouse before the snow.
I did a bit of watercolour experimenting this afternoon, and sorted out my art supplies. I had a big crate for rock painting, which we hardly do any more, and a carrier bag with all my other art supplies in. Now the whole lot is in the crate, much tidier and I can find everything in one place. I left the rocks in a box in the garage, so we know where they are if we need them (GD and me)

Plant - ouch, that sounds very painful. I hope you've left the crumbs at the back of the cupboard. Nobody will see them there. Be kind to yourself and don't do any heavy lifting or anything. xx

Oma - thanks for the info about the wood oil. OH is always experimenting with different types for various projects!

Gem - it very satisfying getting something like that sorted out. Well done. Did you paint a watercolour picture? I have a bag full of wooden lollipop sticks that I want to use as plant labels - I'm going to pyrograph the names on. I know where the box is but can't reach it because OH has a pile of junk (he doesn't agree it's junk) stacked in my little summerhouse and I can't empty it out in case it rains! He's promised to get it all cleared out by the end of this month. I treated myself to a trolley from Hobbycraft a few months ago and I'm gradually getting all my art and pyrography stuff stored in it. It's really useful and being on wheels I can easily move it around.

Poor you with your washing. I hope S had finished golf before it rained and snowed.

We had sleet today. Wouldn'r surprise me if we had some snow.
Its certainly been wet and wild out there.

A bit of frost around this morning.

GD2 will be here in an hour. She's leaving her car with us.
Chap is coming to fit a tracker for her.
So grandad will take her to work,and pick her up later.
Hubby is going to dads to get some rubbish out of the garage.
I will have to stay at home for tracker man coming.
We have a couple of parcels to pack up,so hubby will go to the co-op to send them.
Thats this morning taken care of.

Daisy, it was more a watercolour experiment! I am not really used to them. I watched programme on it during lockdown but should watch something else, for the technique hints. We have a photo of wild flowers which I think would make a lovely painting. I will try to create something like it, but it may take time!
OH and friends had to battle snow all the way back up from the golf course!

Good Monday morning everyone, and welcome to a new week.

Gem and Oma - we must all be sharing a brain because I've been wondering how everyone is, and hoping they'r ok and just too busy to chat on here.

We've had a bit of frost but nothing much and the sun's now shining. Lazy bones here didn't wake up till 8.30. I slept from 11.30 so must have been more tired than I thought last night!

Nanto - there's always something going on at your house. I hope the tracker man comes early.

Gem - I've tried using watercolours occasionally when we're away in the caravan (oh, happy days!) and find them much harder than acrylics. Good luck - with your flower picture.

Oma - B's a brave man, letting you loose in IKEA on your own! Have fun.

I've got no plans for today, but unless I get a move on there won't be much of it left! See you later.

Thanks for asking ladies but the answer is fed up. I developed a cold yesterday evening so with that and my very painful ribs I am feeling totally fed up. I wanted to keep fit and well this week ready for my op on Monday. I am having to cancel a dental appt for tomorrow and I have a doctors appt on Wed to discuss the psoriasis, I am hoping to keep that. I am going to take a covid test this morning in view of the cold and I am going to try some heat on my ribs. I am wondering if DD has a tens machine.

Daisy I have a lot of acrylic paints, it is what we paint rocks with. Maybe I will do better with those.

Good morning everyone, well just. A busy morning, first the gym, then shopping and after that to do the coffee, I have just got home and will go to the pool soon.

I don't know if I posted yesterday, I sorted the mini library in the hall out, yet again, I will tell the friend she can do it next time, it was her idea etc etc and I get to sort the books out, another trip to the charity shop tomorrow, she will have to hang something up saying just books that are popular as people use it as a dumping ground. Moan over.

I made a bag yesterday, I was going to make a pattern for a summer dress then decided I may as well buy one out of the sales, it is only for when I am out on the balcony etc.

Went to IKEA and B came in , so we decided to have breakfast while we were there , he enjoyed that .

Oma, the funeral is on wednesday. We are all ready to say our last goodbyes.
Hopefully then we can back to normal,or should i say the new normal.

Tracker has been fitted to GD's car.
