WG so good to hear your loving your house .
It will be lovely having GS coming so often and being close to your family ๐Ÿ˜

Lizzie now your holiday is booked you have something to look forward too ,
Did you do your usual route on your bike ride ? I was thinking maybe if you did a different route you might not have noticed how busy it was usually .

Oma,so pleased MIL enjoyed the baby shower.
I'm sure everyone else enjoyed it.
GD1 baby shower is next month. She would have liked it a bit earlier, but she has left it for her friends to organise.
I think some of of her friends are going on holiday, and that is the only time they can all get together.

WeeGranny - I'm delighted for you that the house move has gone so well, even though I'm sure it was really hard work and the boxes seem to multiply between the old house and the new, don't they! How lucky that your dining table fits into the kitchen.

What a lovely GS you have to come and stay with you on the first night. That was so thoughtful of him. I bet his GF is also lovely. I agree - they grow up overnight.

I'm pleased your hand and nose are healing well. Are you sleeping well?

Nanto - it's been a wet and dreary day here as well. I took Eva out about 5 pm and it rained - not too hard, but it makes it feel chilly as well. I hope your GD1's baby shower goes well - I'm sure it's fun planning it. x

Oma - Your MIL is a proper moaner when she feels like it, isn't she. I confess I laughed out loud at the complaint about cheap pens! No wonder you're exhausted, but I'm glad the baby shower went well. Clare must be getting excited now.

Lizzie - well done on getting your trip to the UK organised and booked. Everything seems much harder these days, doesn't it. I hope the family have better luck with the traffic when they come back from Gdansk. How long are they staying for?

My friend M came round for a coffee this morning. She has been away visiting family so we had a lot to catch up on. It was too wet to do any gardening, but I did a few jobs around the house, cooked a batch of treats for Eva, and did a bit of online shopping.

It's good to catch up with friends Daisy.

Lovely to hear you are all moved in WG! So nice to be closer to family.

I'm sorry your MIL was a pain Oma

We had a lovely afternoon at my friend's 60th garden party. No rain, and the sun even came out for a while

A good catch up with our friends tonight too before they head off to Canada on Tuesday.

            Night everyone!

Good Bank Holiday Monday morning, everyone. Am I the only one who thinks it doesn't seem like a Bank Holiday?

It's cool, overcast and wet underfoot here, so unless it dries up a bit the gardening will have to wait. I can almost hear the weeds growing though!!

Nanto - I hope the weather continues to improve for you.

I've got an exciting day planned - change the bed, portion up about 6 kg of dog food, do the most urgent items in a growing pile of ironing. What would I really like today? Unexpected visitors, please.

                  Morning ladies

Its grey and cold here ,

Daisy you know how to have a exciting day donโ€™t you ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Nanto a nice nothing day , no urgency to do anything just go with whatever turns up ๐Ÿ˜

Gem you were lucky with the weather bet you were tired after all that though , but a nice tired ๐Ÿ˜

I was just beyond tired last night I had to tape the big little dolls house thing I couldnโ€™t stay awake ,

then woke at 4am with foot cramp that wouldnโ€™t go away

We went to Asda for them opening just for a few bits and I wanted to just sit in the aisle and sleep it was a effort to walk
But I did manage to drag myself to the shelf with Tea towels on and bought two bundles of 5 ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
                  .
Anyway thatโ€™s done B going to put a coat of white on the walls above the panelling today ,
He undercoated everything yesterday , it looks different already just with the undercoat on

Thats as exciting as our bank holiday goes ,
Have a good day ladies xxx

Oma - I'm sorry to hear you're still getting tiredness. It's a b*****, isn't it. I'm glad you're taking it easy though. Today you can literally sit and watch paint dry! Looking forward to seeing the finished panelling.

So lovely to hear you have arrived safely in Bucks, welcome WG. Have you seen my GGC yet? You are very close to your GS so I expect you will be seeing a lot of him. You will have to take a chair over the road and watch him play cricket.

                        Good morning ladies.

Daisy I agree, it feels nothing like a Bank Holiday to me either! I hope you get some (nice) unexpected visitors

Free day for us too Nan2.

Oma, I have heard the tiredness can drag on a while after covid. You obviously can't lie down in the aisles when shopping. Your body is telling you something though, and you should rest as much as possible.
Our friend P had the tiredness for quite a while after he recovered.

No plans today after our two consecutive 'party days'
We do need some shopping so we may do that. OH cut the lawn which badly needed it a couple of days ago so that is done. There is a BIG pile of ironing!!
                        Happy Bank Holiday everyone.

Oma, donโ€™t push yourself, you need to rest today if you feel so tired, donโ€™t fight it. I few sunny days would help.

Daisy, what an exciting day you have in store. We are suffering with dry conditions in the garden and I am having to water, different sort of soil that doesnโ€™t hold water very well.

Lizzie, our holiday in the UK will be something to look forward to.

Oma, your Mil is something else, good job you had your DD with you otherwise you might have said something. Does B get annoyed with her.?

No plans today, I need to go to a garden centre but they will be very busy today.

Plant, my OH wants to go to a garden centre but we think today will be busy.

I forgot we have the online quiz tonight at 8. I've just remembered. Maybe I should set my alarm!

Plant they all do , she is the same with all of us no matter who takes her out .
                              we all dread it ,
Its sad but when she has gone she will only be remembered for her nasty tongue and bad manners .

Gem B was at B&Q about a hour ago he said the garden centre part was packed ,

DD and Storm just gone home , she walked him over he had something to drink then he went to the treat cupboard ๐Ÿ˜

im sitting doing nothing ,as Daisy said watching paint dry ๐Ÿ˜

                                Its not very warm here.
