Good morning everyone. What a lovely cheery graphic to greet the new day, Nanto.

I've arranged to go for an early walk with our neighbour and Missy, so a brief 'hello' and see you later.

Poor Missy is on lead walk only and is bored, so we're hoping having Eva for company will help.

Good morning Nan2, Daisy and all who follow.

I hope the doggies enjoy their walk Daisy. There are a lot of covid cases about, and also a lot of bad colds as well.

A less busy day will probably be good Nan2! I love being busy, but also really love the 'nothing much to do' days. I think we need them.

Oma. Storm thinks 'Stop kissing me nanna, its no good for my street cred' I hope you both got back to sleep.

This morning I am going to collect my mum and take her to DD2's, a five minute drive from the care home. Getting her out of her room, downstairs, through the courtyard and into and out of my car takes MUCH longer!
DD3 is coming as well and we will have lunch. I write all mum's cards now so will give her the family ones to distribute whilst we are there. I have no other plans today.

      Keep warm and well everyone.

Good morning, sorry to have been awol since we returned from out little break. It all went very well, came home feeling refreshed. Have been busy this week but all organised now.

I have an appointment at the doctors this morning, couldn’t believe how easy it was to get it. Filled in an online Econsult form Yesterday and the surgery rang me back witH an appointment For this morning. Could have knocked me down with a feather, was only expecting a telephone appointment. Nothing serious, I’ve been having pains in my leg, I think it’s Tendonitis again but it’s keeping me awake at night so though I’d get it checked out.

Hope everyone is keeping well, There are so many bugs going around at the moment, coughs and colds.

Have a good day everyone 🌞

Hallo everyone, I do have to laugh at you Oma, your appointment on 7th January, look at it this way, it can't be that important! I have awful pain in my arm and shoulder, I get it often but with doing too much yesterday it is worse, I mailed the fysio and can go tomorrow afternoon. I could hardly stand the pain whilst out on my bike and I can't be having that. It is a lovely day, all my washing has dried outside, it was 31 degrees on the balcony, certainly no sign of a white Christmas.

Enfys, pleased you got home ok and enjoyed the break.

Gem, enjoy the afternoon with the family.

I am really pleased with my new rug for in here, tomorrow the lamp arrives for my bedroom, I will see what time he will be coming as I have to go to the fysio, otherwise M next door will take it in for me.

Good Morning Ladies, There is certainly a lot of bugs and germs around I have had sniffles all week I 've done a couple of tests but all negative hope the bunged up feeling goes soon.

Yesterday I spent the day with my friend in Halewood my DDs partner picked me up at 7am!!! and picked me back up at 4.30pm we had a really good day reminiscing about what we did when she lived up here before she went to work in London we had a really good day.

This week has been busy getting all the presents into the correct bags I had forgotten what I had bought and for whom ?

Oliver has become a real home bird (cat) he does not like the cold at all he has found comfy spots near the radiator in the lounge and in my bedroom he is only venturing as far as Jim's to check out what Jim has brought him back from the Morrisons butcher then he is back indoors again.

The weather here is quite mild compared to the last couple of weeks we thought that the yearly Lions Club float would not be able to do their tour of the area but they have been able to do three
trips around the Town with Father Christmas collecting gifts and giving out sweeties to the children they passed on the Streets, the gifts they collect go to local children in Wirral they give every child a selection box paid for from year long donations.

Enjoy the rest of the day talk soon x

it’s milder here but no where near that warm .

Glamm sounds like you had a lovely time , it’s what you need xx
How nice to be able to see the Santa Christmas float , remember when the Salvation Army used to come around the streets , you just don’t see that now .
I think it should be revived they would collect quite a bit for charity I think x

Lizzie, lovely rug, nice and warm looking. Hope you get some relief from your arm soon.

Gemini, I am sure your mum will love being with you and your DDs.

Glamm, sounds like fun, haven’t seen a Santa float for years. Oliver knows where to be now the weather is fresher. they are amusing casts, they know where to find warmth and food.

I have had a muddle of a day today, they cancelled bowls this afternoon so I went around the village delivering cards, caught up on some post and now I have time to come on here.

What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Thanks Oma, goes well with the wall as well! It was only so warm in the sun on the balcony, but, it has been lovely all day. My arm is easier now, will I ever learn????

                        Good afternoon ladies.
Nice to see you back Enfys
Gosh that was an early start for your outing Glamma! It sounds as though you had a nice time though.
Lizzie, I like the rug very much.

All went well with mum's outing, DD2's house is so beautifully festive and she did a lovely afternoon tea type lunch for us all. DD3 doesn't want to tell her Nanna about the baby until after the scan then will give her a scan photo. It was a lovely time, mum was so happy, exhausted when I took her back though. I put her presents from the family under her tree and left her resting on her bed.
We chose it to be when the children were at school Oma. I think all 3 DDs, plus SIL and me is enough for her at one time.
I had yet another upsetting phone call from the solicitors when I was there though. It is all getting me down.

OH is still out at golf. Its been a lovely sunny day here, so it will have been nice out there.

Gem, so pleased your mum had a lovely afternoon, even if it was tiring for her.

I made sure all upstairs was clean after the work yesterday.

                            Afternoon ladies.

I hope everyone is keeping well and coping with Christmas preparations.

Yesterday I went to the solicitor to sign my will. I’ve only just got round to it after nearly two years since I lost G.

Today I had my hair cut.It involves two bus journeys but I like the salon and my “lady” so it’s worth it.
When I got back I called in on a neighbour I haven’t seen for ages. We usually bump into each other when out walking but the weather has been so damp lately it’s been a quick trot round for both of us and our paths haven’t crossed.

Enjoy your evening whether watching the “box” or doing something more worthwhile.😀

Decorations will get done on sunday.

Ladies - I'm sorry I haven't popped back in earlier - it's ended up being a busy day, and now it's bed-time. It's another early start tomorrow - Sainsbury's delivery, so I'll catch up in the morning.

I hope everyone sleeps well tonight - no midnight wanderings, drink or snacks. Night, night. xx
