The man came for the table and chairs A very nice man who was amazed at the quality and condition for the price we were asking. He got is all it in one journey! We wanted rid of it, he needed a bigger table for Christmas, so everyone was happy.

Evening ladies.
Yesterday for some unknown reason my arthritis played me up something chronic. My back, hands and feet were murder. I was so exhausted by the evening and I felt sure I would get a decent night's sleep but I was wrong again!
This morning, after a chat with DD and an update on the ongoing excitement of youngest GS regarding Christmas lifed my spirits so myself and OH went out for a walk and although I tended to walk with a limp it was nice to be out in an unseasonably mild and sunny day.
Plant will you have the lump removed before Christmas?
Oh did someone mention macaroons? I love macaroons so if there are any going spare.......
Mimi I blame the damp cold weather , my Arthritis seems to all come at once when its damp ,
I creek like a old barn door
Sometimes a little gentle walking if nothing else takes your mind of it for a while
Plant your new Dr seems on the ball , the quicker the lumps off the better xx
Lizzie - our posts crossed this morning. I'm fascinated by the thought that cyclists can go both ways round a roundabout! It sounds very dangerous, and I presume motorists have to give way to bikes from either direction! And in effect you are giving way to traffic already on the roundabout. I can remember when French roundabouts were like that and they quickly got clogged with traffic unable to get on to the roundabout. There was also a rule that traffic coming in from a minor road on the right would have priority - that was also scary! Well done on getting your cupboard done, and even getting some nice floor covering for free!
Plant - I'm glad you've got such a good doctor now. Doesn't it make a difference! Hopefully you will see a dermatologist quickly. When I had that lump removed from my face in March I saw the dermatologist within a week of seeing the GP - just booked an appointment online to suit me.
WeeGranny, I hope you are ok after meeting up with the Celebrant today. It must have been very emotional. Sending hugs. xx
Enfys - just wondering if you're ok, and enjoyed your holiday in Devon?
Gem - isn't it great when things work out so well. How lovely to have your new table and chairs all ready for Christmas. I look forward to seeing a photo when you have time. Poor GS1 getting a cough and cold and missing the last week of term. Still, better that than possibly catching Covid and being poorly for Christmas. I do hope your SIL is negative.
Mimi - your arthritis sounds very painful, so well done for getting out and having a walk. I think that's what is advised isn't it, but actually doing it when you're in so much pain isn't easy. Is it the cold weather or the damp weather that makes it worse for you?
Oma - did you get the shopping you wanted?
My plans for today didn't quite work out (what's new!) but I got a few odd jobs done, including portioning up a load of dog food. I'll check tomorrow to see if there is now enough to see us through Christmas. We took Eva and Cooper to the paddock for a run - I'll write about that separately! Then after dropping Cooper off I went to a local garden centre for some Christmassy silk flowers to perk up a dried arrangement, and bought a couple of boxes of LED lights as well. OH spent the afternoon wood turning and all but finished a bowl he had offered to make for a friend.

Morning everyone, not feeling great today, have had tummy aches for a few days, keeping me awake at night and not a great tum this morning. Problem is how or should I try to talk to a doc?
Mimi, I agree with Oma. This cold damp weather is no good for our arthritis.
I hope you slept in the end Oma.
Jane most tummy pains are nothing to worry about, but not nice. Best to be checked if it carries on though. I know what you mean about speaking to a Dr, almost impossible. You should be able to contact your GP surgery via phone or online. I suggest you lay it on thick so they have to fit you in. I hope you feel better soon x
Daisy, is Eva out of disgrace yet?!
I hope the radiator fitting goes well Nan2.
I am mega stressed about my mum's house sale. It's one thing after another. If I could get my hands on the solicitor (based in Daventry wherever that is) she would fear for her life. I can't even bring myself to update as typing it all out depresses me. I will at some point. More email for me to write regarding that this morning.
Optician this morning to collect my new glasses. Library this afternoon.
I was to see GS1s choir sing (outside!) at 6pm, but due to his PCR test I don't yet know if he will be at school today.
Have a good Wednesday ladies.

Good morning everyone. I do feel for those having sleepless nights. I'm generally able to sleep well, but if I can't it makes me feel awful, and I really admire how some of you cope with night after night of no sleep.
Nanto - thanks you for the beautiful flower graphic this morning. I do hope the radiator fitting goes smoothly.
Jane - tummy problems make you feel dreadful, especially if you don't know what's causing them. Have you tried keeping a food diary just in case it's something you're eating that you've suddenly become intolerant to? Even if there's no pattern it helps the GP to take it seriously. Good luck with getting to speak to someone.
Gem - I do hope GS's test is negative and you can see the choir. I'm so sorry you are still having problems with your Mum's house sale. You must feel like screaming at the solicitor (Daventry is in Northamptonshire, and near Coventry, btw). Is this the vendor's solicitor? It sounds as though you should be complaining to the senior partner at the practice as she's causing so much trouble. You could copy the senior partner in on your email and explain the situation to them. Sending hugs. xx
Oma - I'm glad you managed a few hours sleep in the end. I bet Storm get all excited when he realises it's "Nana Day"! You do spoil him. Thank you for the idea - I hadn't thought of using the lights in my flower arrangement (arrangement sounds grand - they're just stuck in a large wooden vase OH made).
I'm definitely going to do some meals for the freezer this morning to use over Christmas. Then dog training this afternoon. Eva is forgiven for yesterday's outburst, but I'm cross with myself for not seeing the build up of stress and over-excitement before she got out of hand.
Chat later - I must get started in the kitchen.
