Weather not forecast to be good today, we will just have to make the best of it. I suppose the dress could be dry cleaned Daisy, if GD needs to wear it today. I think my DD is getting a bit annoyed with her relying on something arriving in time to wear today. Her future OH is very laid back, I think it is catching.

Daisy, what a busy week you have but it sounds enjoyable too. Quite a shock to the system after lockdown.

Gemini I hope your you are not in pain now.

Good morning, I wasn't up to posting yesterday Oma, the most awful pain in my right leg, I have had it a while, last year I went to the doctor and she couldn't see anything wrong, the lady I go to for treatment said the same and she gave me special support socks to sleep in if it was painful, they have helped until the night before last, oh dear, the most awful pain, I hardly slept. I had to go for treatment and the girl had a good look, feel etc and said it was warm and I should either phone the doctor or try and get the fysio to do a scan. As there is nothing to see I got in touch with the fysio, using the app to get it touch, he got back to me and can do a scan on Monday, then the questions! Was it red or swollen, shiny, did I have a temperature? No to all those as the girl yesterday said it isn't thrombosis, it won't be after all that time.

The young man even got in touch with me later on, would I take a photo so they could see it wasn't thrombosis, I did that and I had to promised if it got worse I would phone the doctor's post at the hospital. I do find the pain is easier if I have been out on my bike so I have just been and it has helped so I will see what he can see on Monday.

I do read the posts so sorry for not answering, enjoy the wedding today Plant and Daisy enjoy all your visitors! Nan to, enjoy the shopping.

I have just been for my veg and fresh eggs.

            Good moaning each.
I am still around. So many hospital appointments though. Next week I am having an infusion for osteoporosis which a friend tells me can make you feel very unwell! That’s all I need.🙄
We have had high drama with DD2’s house move which has taken the best part of a year, but they are moved now They had to hire a van and do it themselves, every firm was booked because of people moving to take advantage of the stamp duty reduced rates. When they eventually moved last Monday they found the house to be filthy, and I mean Filthy! The tale goes on but I won’t take up space here.
Thank you for thinking of me ladies. I will do my best to catch up with your news.
            Have a good weekend.

I suppose movement helps the flow Oma, that is what they told me!! No, I can't be out on my bike all day!!! I did sleep better last night, I have no idea why but pleased I did.

                Nice to see you Grauntie.
I don't know if the infusion you are having is the same as my mum had after her broken hip. If so they warned she may feel unwell but she didn't.
It's so unfair when you leave your house clean then have to clean the house you move into. This happened to DD2 as well.

I'm sorry to hear about your leg pain Lizzie!

                  Good morning everyone.

Oh, Plant, I do hope you are having better weather than us - it's cold, damp and showery. Still, I've never been to a wedding which has been ruined by the weather, and I'm sure everyone will have an umbrella, just in case. It's better to be laid back than overly anxious - and she will look radiant whatever she wears. x

Gem - I hope you're feeling ok and pain-free today (sorry if you've said somewhere - I'm rushing a bit.)

Grauntie - how lovely to see you. It's amazing how busy hospital appointments can make you - they seem to take up such a lot of time, even for something minor or routine. I hope you are ok after the infusion. I do think doctors give you the worst case scenario so you can't say they didn't warn you. Your poor DD over her house move. It's no fun having to set to and clean up the mess someone else has left behind before you can even start unpacking. But wishing her and her family much happiness in their new home.

Lizzie - it sounds a bit of a mystery, your leg. I hope they can sort it out for you.

Oma - the shops at the garden centre sound wonderful, and I'm sure they will be very busy. I'd love one of our garden centres to do something like that.

Nanto - enjoy your trip to Wakefield. I hope it includes lunch or at least a cup of coffee and a bit slice of cake.

I'm cleaning bathrooms - lucky me! Then I'll prepare dinner for tonight and bake a birthday cake for my friend's birthday tomorrow.

I'm glad you got to chat to your GS Oma
It sounds as though you are busy, busy busy, Daisy!

We didn't go to DD1's this afternoon as it rained so much the planks would be too wet to cut. So OH just watched yet more Wimbledon recordings. I went to The Range for some acrylic paints, and picked up my M and S order. I would have like a good browse at The Range but I felt so hot and uncomfortable in my mask I just wanted to get out of there. I came home and watched some Netflix upstairs.
My mouth is still sore I'm afraid. I don't know if there is any of the paste still in there. A fair amount came out last night, but he said he put 3 lots in, so not to worry if some came out, but I suspect there is none left. I woke at 3.30am in pain. I'm sure I needn't tell you how fed up I am of it all.

Anyway, thinking of Plant's GD and family and hoping they are having a lovely day down there.

Gem, I can understand you being fed up of it all, I do hope it soon heals. We haven’t to wear masks in shops now and it is much better when walking round. We may get them back again but at the moment we are free of them.

I do find them difficult Lizzie, and especially all my trips to the dentist, climbing three flights of stairs with one on!

Lovely to hear from Grauntie. Good to hear DD finally got moved in to the house.
Such a shame it was left filthy.

Lizzie, hope the leg pain eases soon.
Gem, the same goes for you with your mouth.

Oma, pleased you got to chat with GD2.

Enjoyed our day in Wakefield. First stop was coffee.
Then a bit of shopping, followed by a meal in our favourite cafe.
Didn't get home till about 3.30. Had to call with in laws shopping and put it all away.
Weather not been too bad. Was raining when we left home and raining when we got to Wakefield.
Brightened up though, and even sat in the garden with a cuppa in the sun.

Daisy, hope your busy morning went smoothly.

Hope Plant and family have had a lovely day.
