I like the sideboard Oma, it looks nice. A good idea for the flowers Gem.

I have been soaked to the skin twice today, my own fault of course, at least I got out. I went for tulips for a neighbour, the lady whose husband jumped off the balcony in the summer, I said I would get her some, it was dry then but very, very windy, especially going through the open fields, I flew home though.

I had done some repairs for my fysio and took them back, I had to pick a parcel up from the depot in the village, that is when I got wet, again. I am sat waiting now to get dry before getting dry tights on.

Very windy again here this morning with showers, I won't bother going out, I am getting all my accounts, passwords noted to give to DS2, then they won't have problems when I have gone,, I hope it isn't for a long while though! A lady I know has just lost her husband and they are having so much trouble sorting accounts etc out so I will get that done, cheerful today!
I want to get all the paintwork cleaned in the hall etc so when I have actually had a shower and get dressed that is something for me to do.

I went down to my friend yesterday, the one I swim with, she has got a cat, a Ragdoll? He is 9 weeks old and so tiny. Then I called at friends up here, I was so ill the last time I was there as they have one of those humidifiers with perfume, I can't have that at all, it was really strong the last time, she told me it wasn't and that I had trouble before I went there, I hadn't so I wasn't very pleased.

                    Happy Saturday ladies

Well done car Nan2, always a relief when they pass!
Oma I get those stupid things sometimes. One day I had three supposedly from DHL.
Lizzie Ragdoll cats are adorable, so beautiful. DD2 has one, and another lives next door to me.

No plans for the day, apart from a late afternoon Zoom meeting called by GS1 to talk about his new school! As OH and I are the only ones who have seen him since he started we don't really need to go, but I will drop in.

Have a good day everyone. I hope aches, pains, sadness and worry and less than they were yesterday!

Good morning everyone. It's sunny at the moment but very windy. Looking out of the bedroom window I can see bins and all sorts of things blowing around. Eva's not very impressed - a sudden gust of wind under her tail isn't her favourite thing!

Lizzie - it's a good idea to have your your passwords, accounts etc noted somewhere - just in case. The kitten sounds so sweet, although I'm not sure about Ragdolls. Do they have problems with breathing etc? Your other friend is probably so used to the scent of her humidifier that she can't really smell it herself.

Nanto - glad you car passed its MOT - it's always a relief, isn't it!

No special plans for me today, apart from the excitement of washing bedding and a load of darks!

Daisy Ragdolls are beautiful long haired cats who have no problems. DD2s cat is an elderly lady now and very healthy You are maybe thinking of the snub nosed Persians?

Gem, I'm not sure to be honest. I remember my cousin who was very involved with cat rescue in London worrying about Rags. Perhaps is was some inbreeding - it was many years ago.

Daisy the only drawback to Ragdolls is as the name suggests they are bred to be floppy and 'cuddly', and some of them are not streetwise to be anything but house cats. Angie is cuddly but certainly knows how to look after herself, and Susie next door is the most aloof cat I have ever met and roams around all the neighbourhood gardens with no chance of anyone cuddling her. Perhaps the breeding isn't working!

I have read that they are bred not to go outdoors. Daisy, that will be it, they don't smell it anymore. That one looks lovely Gem. Does she go outdoors?
I was cycling through the village yesterday, in the rain, I saw a huge container had blown into the side of a parked car.

I am very slow today, I have just showered and need to get myself dressed. I keep remembering accounts etc and have to jot them down!!
