Good morning Nanto and all who call in later.
What a lovely cheerful graphic - thank you.
Have a lovely time with DS1 and enjoy your roast dinner.
We've got no plans for today, and the sun's shining at the moment, so hopefully it will stay that way.

Good morning everyone.
Seeing your son, and roast dinner, it has to be a good day Nan2
It is a dry morning here!
I am going to see my mum this afternoon. I will report back. This will be the first time any of us has been past the doors of the care home or seen her room. I will go at 1.30, wait half an hour in the car for my test results, then see mum. OH will go on to DD2s, then come back for me. Afternoon tea there (as we are in childcare bubble) is on the cards. The children are so excited to have indoor visitors!

Yesterday our new neighbour at the top of our Cul-de-sac had a Birthday Party ,
Cars coming and going must have had at least 20-30 people in over the course of the afternoon ,
Her Mother was there too , a woman in her late 60's who should have known better
My next door neighbour kept texting me she was furious about it every time someone else appeared she would text me ,
I didn't need telling I could see them
I said to B Angela must have steam coming out of her ears now she was so agitated by it all ,

Gemini, have a lovely day, a long awaited visit to your mum and a visit to DD's I hope all goes well.
Nanto, have a lovely visit from DS, I am sure he will enjoy his roast dinner.
Difficult for you and your neighbours when one neighbour is flouting the rules. They all seem to be behaving in our road, very quiet, lots of walkers are using it to get to the woods.
We, DD, GD1 and I had our Mother's Day treat yesterday, DD collected a tea for two from the Farm Shop we use, it was very good but too much for three of us so the men helped finish it off. Baby H was very good (her daddy was working) but I think my GD nurses her a lot.
Sil's mother hasn't been well again she keeps getting UTInfections, one of her sons went to see her yesterday, she wasn't at all well.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Happy Mother’s Day. I had a lovely gift delivered on Friday from DS and DD came over with flowers this morning. We are having a takeaway this evening, I am lucky she is my support bubble so can go into theirs. It’s surprising how many people have visitors, we’re not out of it yet!
Had a very quiet week really, have felt a bit under the weather and not sleeping well but hopefully will pick up this week. A bit of sunshine would be nice, makes all the difference.

Enfys - I was wondering how your were because you were a bit quiet. I do hope you can get back into a good sleep routine. Our weather's been so changeable, hasn't it. Enjoy your takeaway this evening. xx
Nanto - how lovely you've seen both DSs. Did DS1 enjoy his roast dinner?
Oma - it's really annoying that people like your neighbour are still flouting the rules. It's so selfish. I'm sure a lot of people have pushed the limits a little bit at different times and taken a small calculated risk, but that is flagrant.
Gem - I do hope you have had a great visit with your mum, and a brilliant time with DD2. No wonder the children are excited!
The afternoon tea sounds delicious. How horrid for your SIL's mum keep getting UTIs. It must drag her down.

I hope everyone's day went well, lovely to read what you have all been doing.
It was lovely to see my mum, to be with her and to actually get inside and into her room. A bid sad too as I didn't feel she was that happy. They say she is very up and down, and that my visit will have perked her up a lot. I hope so, I will be back again on Friday. I hope everyone had a lovely Mother's day, or as best it could have been taking into consideration the on going suitation we still find ourselves in.
I was able to have a visit from DS and DIL yesterday but other DS was working and the heartbreaking suitation with DD and family is still hard as we haven't seen them for over a year now. Hopefully it won't be very much longer when they are able to travel from Wales to us.
Enfys how are you this morning. I think all things considered you have done extremely well so its no wonder you are feeling under the weather, as you say , a bit of sunshine would help enormouenormously.
I need to get a life .... I am waiting in anticipation for a delivery of some fence paint . Now its not just any old run of the mill , usual brownish paint its grey fence paint. For years OH has insisted that the fences have to be in a traditional brown colour but now we have a new garden to 'create ' he seems ready to embrace new ideas so perhaps you can understand my excitement!
Plus he is going to put some garden gravel down on the boarder but that has to be a traditional colour, none of this fancy slate/ different colours, can't have everything I suppose.
Have a good day everyoneBring me sunshine in your smile.

Good morning everyone.
What a bright and cheerful Graphic!
Mimi, grey fence paint is indeed cause for excitement. I'm with you though, grey slate or grey black pebbles would look good!
Not much going on today. As we were out for several hours yesterday, we probably need to calm down today!
I will get back onto the care home now the manger is back from her weeks holiday and pester her to answer the questions I need from them in order to complete mum attendance allowance form. I am a bit annoyed she promised to do this, only to go on annual leave the following week having not done so. Mum needs more long sleeved tops I am told, so I will be ordering a couple of cardigans online. Tesco delivery this afternoon.
I think it is the quiz tonight, but no one has confirmed it.
Have a good Monday ladies.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
