      Good morning ladies.

Not the best birthday for your GD, Nan2, but I'm sure she will be glad to see you.

Supermarket pick up today. We usually choose Sainsburys for click and collect, as there are 2 collection points a couple of miles away. The Tesco collection point is 5 miles away, the other side of town. When I booked it I remember thinking that after almost a month of lockdown, we may be glad of a drive!
No other plans but we may go for a walk, and I may do more present wrapping.

      Have a good day everyone.

Our posts crossed Oma. I got distracted mid post with family WhatsApp messages!
I'm fine thank. Just that annoying end of a cold catarrh.
How nice to see your friends. On the drive is better than nothing

We are in tier 2. Just had to go and collect GD1 from work, she wasn't feeling very well. They started work at 8am and she had only had a banana. I think it is time she stopped working, she was planning on another two weeks. It looks as if they will be in their flat before Christmas.

I did a bit of clearing up this morning after the gardener lady heavily pruned my rambler rose, rehung the bird feeds and cut down some plants that had finished for this year. Felt very tired as I had a Zoom keep fit for 1/2 hr with the aqua group. They are hoping to back on the 8thDec.

Hope you will be free of that cold soon Gemini.

            That's hard Oma
They are reviewing it in 2 weeks time aren't they?
We are Tier 2, where we were for a couple of weeks before lockdown.
Ladies work so late into pregnancy now don't they Plant?

We have brought the shopping home and put it away. I don't know what planet I was on this week. 2 lots of Cox's apples. 2 different types of carrots. 2 different types of oranges. No yogurts or porridge My fault not theirs. I have suggested that OH look over the list the night before in future. I usually have two orders on the go, and i think I forget what is on which one!

We have decided to go into town late afternoon to walk round and see the Christmas lights. We have planned to do this before lockdown eases and there are more people about. We will get fish and chips on the way back.

Gem - I can get confused with just one order on the go. At least the fruit should keep - or you'll just have to enjoy more of it.

There was a £25 voucher in our order this week. I hadn't ordered it so gave it back to the driver, but I bet someone is wondering what happened to it - I hope it wasn't needed urgently.

It was a good idea to see the lights before shops re-open.

Plant -I cleaned out our bird feeder today as well. We've only got one now, for nyger seeds, as they seem to attract rats. We've also got a large bird table but I only put out a small amount of food each day so it doesn't get scattered about or left. We've got a bird bath in the front garden and I put fat balls out there when the weather gets colder.

By heck its a foggy morning and very cold as well. I took one look outside and got back into bed!

We are also in tier two . I feel so sorry for any one struggling to keep their business ticking over in these dreadful times.
Thankfully my hair dresser will be open from next and I had the good sense to book an appointment for the following week. At the moment Boris has a far better hair style than me

We have got Tesco delivery this morning. In the order this week will be 3 packs of second class stamps,. I need them for the Christmas cards and upcoming birthdays .

Gem I usually have 4 weeks of orders on the go which I fill with my usuals and only concentrate on the one due first, changing the order with the items I need in the days up to the delivery date. Even then, with being so careful I have been known to make silly mistakes.

How are you feeling today Gem.

Oma I also check our online bank account every day, it's a habit I have gotten into ever since OH was targeted by identity theft.

I am expecting Royal Mail to collect a parcel from here today for delivery to DD in Cardiff. I noticed the ad on the TV the other day. It saves having to queue outside the post office in the cold waiting for the 2 only persons allowed in at any time malarkey.
It's fairly straightforward, on line you just type Royal mail doorstep collection and pick small or medium size parcel, weight and contents value, the day you want it collected and then print off the label. It has cost just over £7 which includes 72p added on for the doorstep collection service
In the parcel are 3 Christmas cards , one each for GS's and one for DD and SIL . A few small Christmas presents ( GS's Christmas presents ordered and sent via Amazon) and because it's unlikely that will will see them this Christmas and GS's won't get to have chocolates off the Christmas tree I have wrapped two chocolate Father Christmas's in bubble wrap for them as a pre Christmas treat. So that DD and SIL don't feel left out there is a packet of chocolate snowy balls for them to share.

                Keep safe ladies
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Chilly here, but no frost of fog.

I'm expecting two parcels today. I ordered two pairs of shoes from pavers last Sunday.

Thank you for all the birthday comments for GD2 yesterday.

GD and GS2 from school this afternoon. I am dropping off some sweets and a letter for my mum on the way.
This morning is housework, writing the letter to my mum, and whatever else comes up!

                    Have a good Friday everyone.

Oh poor you Oma, I am sure Storm will cheer you up.

Late up this morning, Jack Frost visited us overnight and now it is lovely and sunny. I am off to Waitrose later, if I do an on-line shop and pop something in my basket, it will tell me if I have already one in my basket. GD1 has gone to work this morning, I think I will go to the Waitrose she works in to see how she is. Apart from that I have no plans. Will pop back later.

No milk or bread or bleach. I thought supermarkets had stopped anyone panic buying. My Tesco order is due soon it will be interesting to see if I get everything I ordered.
Oma do take care , you do too much . Rest with a heat pad and relax.
