My GS1 was over the moon with his 21st birthday present. I am so pleased for him. He is a gentle giant, thoughtful, kind and hard working. He is very appreciative of everything. I still can’t quite believe he is 21 though.
Always face the sunshine and the shadows fall behind you.
Lizzie - pleased to hear you're over your cold. They can make you feel quite washed out. What an enterprising couple the young men are. They deserve to do well, and that tree is such a showstopper.
Plant - dogs are funny aren't they! Eva and Bailey the Border Collie never bother with the decorations. If we put our tree in the hall Cooper bashes it with his nose every time he goes past - but hopefully now he's past the official puppy stage (3 yers in his case!) he might be ok this year!
Oma - poor B being shoved in the corner. You'd better watch out - you know what mischief these elves can get up to when your back's turned!! x
Sunshine your GS1 is a fantastic young man, but you're right. It doesn't seem 5 minutes since you were telling me he'd arrived. Is he in his last year at Uni, or another year to do?

Good morning everyone. It feels chilly out of bed (I'm back in bed n0w with a cuppa!) No sign of frost as far as I can tell.
An outing in the diary today. To a car park in the village to drop off food donations! We are also very low on veg so may need to call into a shop. We have a Sainsbury's Click and Collect tomorrow but need something for tonight.
Happy Wednesday, or Hump Day as the Americans call it.

Good morning ladies , not a bad day its dull and damp but calm and not too cold .
Done two loads of washing now drier is on , been to Aldi was there for 7.30 ,
Managed to bag 2 cartons of Mince at half price , I will freeze them for the dog , its todays date but as they going in freezer they will be ok , he likes a bit of raw mince
Waiting till its a bit lighter to clean my glass coffee table , Storm was chewing the end last night before he went home and I couldn't be bothered to clean it then
How are we all today ? Gem are you any better ,
B got a bit of a cold coming on its his Birthday tomorrow so fingers crossed it stays away
That's a odd expression Gem I haven't heard that before , I suppose we have expressions they don't like or understand too
A lovely morning, cooler early on but sun out now, going to have my hair cut soon. I went to the physio training centre yesterday morning, I have to learn to use all my muscles again. I have been walking wrong for a long time, I knew that but it is something you get used to, now, got to get back to walking normal again.
He was good Plant left them alone till just before he went home ,
he stuck his head in the tree but didn't disturb anything and then had a chew on my glass table ,
I think he likes the cold of the table in his mouth .
Lizzie it will be getting out of the habit of walking as you are now that will take time
Just had a scam phone call American voice saying £600 has been used on my Debit card if i don't press 2 to be put through to their fraud dept my card will be stopped ,
Firstly we check our bank account every day and secondly I have a limit on my Debit card so couldn't use £600 in one transaction without a bank approval anyway .
Good morning everyone. For once, I haven't just got up! I was up early because I booked a Sainsbury delivery between 8.30 and 9.30 but forgot to remove the comment that it was ok to deliver earlier or later! Sometimes 'earlier' has meant up to an hour earlier so I got up, showered and dressed before 8 o'clock! Of course it didn't arrive until nearly 9.30. Typical, but at least it's done. We're now waiting for DPD to collect a parcel to go back to Currys, but that will be sometime this afternoon.
Oma - I'm fed up with scam calls this week - we're getting two or three different ones every day. I hope B fights off that cold - a runny nose isn't a good birthday look. xx
It's not such a good day here either. It rained first thing, but is just damp and a bit miserable now. Glad I did the lawn yesterday, but there will be no chance of a second cut today now.
Lizzie - good luck with the physio exercises and re-learning how to walk. I'm sure it will be worth it in the long run, but will cause a few aches and pains along the way.
I don't mind the expression Hump Day provided it follows the word 'Happy'. It suggests the week-end isn't far away. When I worked in an office I always thought Wednesday was the worst day of the week.
Gem - I hope you're feeling better today. xx
