    That's lovely Sunshine.
I wish we had thought if something like this for mum when my dad died. Up until going into the nursing home she slept with one of his pyjamas tops under her pillow (we had no idea)

Sunshine - your DS and DD are so thoughtful. What a wonderful idea, and I can imagine how much you treasure it. xx

I think a lot of people are ignoring at least some of the restrictions. But some people are taking it to extremes and carrying on with more socialising than they'd perhaps do normally.

Gem, I hope your DD1's friend is negative. Fingers crossed. It does seem to be us 70+ oldies who are finding Covid hard to fight off. The randomness is frightening.

Mimi - a blast of fresh air blows the cobwebs away! I hope it stayed dry for you - we had two or three very heavy downpours.

Good Monday morning everyone. It's dull here but dry - we could do with a few dry days and a breeze to dry our garden out a bit - even the greenhouse flooded over the last few days!

Oma - wow you've done more shopping this morning than I've done in weeks, but nice to get something you wanted. xx

Nanto - thank you for the lovely cheery flowers graphic. It starts the day with a smile.

I'm going to do some washing today - how exciting! - and have to stay in for my new phone to be delivered. If it comes early enough we'll take Eva to the paddock for a run this afternoon. If not she'll have to make do with a walk in the forest.

Whatever you're up to today ladies, stay safe. xx

Good morning all, and happy new week!

              Beautiful flowers Nan2

              Sunny morning here.
No plans as such. OH is going for a walk with a golf friend, near the golf course! Withdrawal symptoms
I may go over to mums house to check on things.

Have a good day everyone. I will be back

Morning all, love the flowers Nanto

No housework today, I have reached my Christmas cards out and MIGHT start writing them today. I also need to pop out for some bits of food.

I am expecting someone to prune my rambler rose, it depends on what the weather does.

I have been busy making myself a calendar, almost finished it, I have been to do the coffee this morning, 4 ladies today. I haven't slept very well, the smoke alarm is making noises!!! I have phoned as I have a service contract but they can't get here until tomorrow so I will have to put up with the noise! A neighbour could do it for me but I may as well use the service.

Oma, I love the fresh bread from the Lidl! We do have an aldi in the next village but I haven't been for a long time.

Daisy, I hope your phone arrives early, my washing is out and drying.

I will have a bike ride soon.

Beware Ladies - I just received a very convincing email supposedly from Royal Mail saying they had tried to deliver a large envelope from HMRC click here to arrange re delivery...... wasn’t true of course. Please note a lot of delivery sc@ms going on at the moment.

Morning all . We have been out for our morning walk again, once again seeing lots of people grouped together talking which is alarming as this area is now on the high risk alert. Things are going to have to change if we have any hope of coming out of lockdown.
I feel sorry for local businesses who would rely on this time of year to making a profit and if they can't reopen I don't think they will survive. I am going to have a look and see if any of them are offering online shopping. You have to help out somehow don't you think.

Lizzie I don't make a calendar but if I buy one before Christmas you can be sure that I will recieve several as presents, if I don't I don't receive any!

Steady on Daisy, its only Monday, too much excitement this early in the week will only lead to tears before bedtime!

                        Have a good day everyone
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Lizzie, I hope you get the alarm fixed.
Avo, I had a similar email not long ago. In fact it came twice!
Mimi, you would think people didn't want us to come out of lockdown wouldn't you?

Towels drying on the line here. I think they will at least partially dry, then I can finish them in the dryer.

Must watch out for that email.

My Christmas cards are on the table waiting to be started.

That is a nuisance Lizzie, hope someone comes soon to fix your alarm.

Fish pie made for dinner tonight and tomorrow.

Not finding the lockdown so easy this time, it was so much easier in that lovely sunny weather.

My G Nephew ( Brothers grandson ) , is in the Navy ,
He came home on Friday on leave to my Nieces , then last night they phoned to say one of his ship mates has tested positive so now he has to isolate at home for 14 days along with most of the crew having to do the same ,

Not exactly the leave he wanted but what can he do , although he came home on the train on Friday so how will that work tracing anyone ?
