Good morning early birds. We've got some early morning sun which is good start to the day.
Sunshine - Your GS1 must be over the moon with his 21st birthday present. I know he'll look forward to coming home anyway, but what a great present to look forward to.
Lizzie - that is amazing. It must have taken a huge village effort to make the squares and then construct the tree itself. Was it made for a charity?
Nanto - Hello to you, 'puter friend! xx
Oma - I hope you've cooked Storm's dinner!!
Gem - how are you feeling this morning? I hope you're on the mend. xx
I've got plenty to do today, but nothing is urgent, so I'll go with the flow.

Good morning ladies.
That tree is amazing Janet. What a community effort!
I hope Storm likes Nannas decorations Oma. I have to say I have been worrying about where B's chair is now the tree is there
Good to have a go with the flow day Daisy
Thanks for asking about my cold everyone! I felt pretty ropey last night, but apart from lots of sneezing I feel OK today. More of an annoyance having to carry tissues around and keeping sanitising everything I touch.
I am going for GS1 as usual this afternoon. I am fine with going (I don't even get out of the car at the moment, as they pick him up from school) and they are too as it's obviously only a cold. His mum had one last week, and we can't always avoid everyone with colds over winter.
He's no work at all, and only here a couple of hours or so.

Gem - pleased to hear you're feeling a bit better. Keep warm and don't over do it. It will be lovely to see GS1 after school and they are unlikely to catch your cold if they gave it to you originally.

Sunshine, your GS will be so pleased when he can get to drive his car!
The tree was made by a wool shop here in the village, 2 young men started about 10 years ago, selling wool from their attic, they now have 2 or 3 very busy wool shops. They do work shops etc so I think the squares were made then, I will take a look at their site. The squares were made my different crochet groups etc.
I have copied this.
"On Monday 23 November, the XXL wool shop Pera Pasha in Pijnacker will install the largest crocheted Christmas tree in the Netherlands on the Raadhuisplein in Pijnacker (construction starts at 8:00 am. The Christmas tree will be in the afternoon). The crocheted pieces in the Christmas tree are fictitious for sale and the proceeds of this donate to the Food Banks Netherlands."

Amazing tree Lizzie, what an achievement.
Gemini, pleased to hear you are feeling a bit better today, just keep warm and dry.
Love the graphic Nanto, I was certainly not up with the larks. Enjoy your day.
Wonder what Storm will make of your decorations Oma. Don't leave him in the SR alone is my advice.
What a lovely present your GS is getting Sunshine, lucky boy. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
