        Morning all.
So lovely to see your fantastic news Plant. Thank you for sharing it, it is just what we all need at the present time. A Ray of light and hope for us all .

We went for our usual stroll this morning, it was dull and drizzly outside but at least it wasn't as cold as previous days.
All the time we were out a helicopter was circling around the fields and pathways . Looking for groups of people breaking the covid restrictions I wonder?

We are having gammon steak, jacket potato and salad for lunch today. Does anyone else get stuck in a ruck trying to come up with something different to have as main meal . I know I do .

        Have a good day everyone
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

I do too Mimi. I try to be inventive, but tend to make the same few meals over and over.

Lovely sunny day here . GS and I are just back from a walk, including a play in the park.

Update from DD about poor GD's experience. When they were about to start the cesarean, ie the cut, GD screamed so they rushed her partner out of the room, took his phone off him and put GD under a full anesthetic and delivered the baby. Meanwhile her partner was waiting an hour to be let back in, worried to death. The reason they took his phone was to get some pics of the baby. I am feeling very displeased with the situation, too much interference in my opinion. Oh! and now GD has a high temperature so she and the baby are on antibiotics. They are not expected home before Friday and because of Covid the visiting hours for her partner are very short. GD can't wait to get home.

                Not a nice experience Plant

Let's hope they are both fine and home soon so they can start living as a little family.

Oh dear Plant. I bet it was really scary for them all. I hope your GD will be able to get home soon. Hopefully now she has her gorgeous baby in her arms, she will be able to put the whole unpleasant experience behind her and enjoy her precious bundle of joy.

Oh bless them how scary , its enough to put them off having more children ,
Fingers crossed the antibiotics work quickly and she is home Friday where she can be pampered and at the least chance of any more infections in her Mums xx

Plant, what a carry on with your GD, I hope she is soon on the road to recovery and on her way home. A friend of mine had a 3 day labour, she told me she soon forgets about it when she sees her daughter smiling! xx

Plant, poor GD and her partner. Did she scream because she wasn't properly anaesthetised? I am sure there are times when the medical situation has to take priority over everything else though, and mum and baby are kept safe. I hope the antibiotics kick in quickly, but again, it's better for them to keep an eye on her and baby. Sending best wishes to them - they'll all soon be together at home. xx

Plant so sorry to read the update of the birth of your GGD. How upsetting for all concerned. Hopefully they'll be home soon where your GD can rest & the new family can bond at home.xx

                                Good morning everyone.

I hope Plants GD and GGD are fine, and Nan2's in laws are OK after last night.

I hope everyone else is OK too!

Shopping day here. I couldn't get a delivery slot this week so we are Click and Collecting at Sainsbury's this morning. At least it gets us out!
I had been looking forward to getting out tomorrow as I offered to pick up GD and GS2, instead of them being dropped off. Purely to have an excuse to drive for 25 minutes each way!! Now I see heavy snow is forecast tomorrow morning, 98% chance, so unless the forecast is wrong I wont be going for them. I hate driving in heavy snow, especially with children in the car.

Take care everyone and have a good day.
