Good Sunday morning, ladies. Nanto it's dry here, so fingers crossed for your dark washing.

Thank you for asking, ladies. I do feel a bit better this morning, just a bit shaky but I'll have to get on with things! I've left the two families to sort out who's coming when etc as DIL2 isn't well - a trapped nerve in her shoulder is giving her a lot of pain, plus trying to pin down two teenagers (DS1's) isn't easy!!! It's ok if they don't come - I think with things as they are they need to decide for themselves without any pushing one way or the other from the 'grown ups'. Both boys are having a tough time with their dad being ill and Covid and all the disruptions it's brought to their lives.

I'm just off for a shower and then some kitchen time!

Clover - I think you're very brave walking in places that were special to you and G, and I hope one day you will walk their without the sadness, just the nice memories.

Glamm - your car sounds lovely and it will make such a difference to being able to get out and about, especially when the weather is bad and you don't want to be hanging around at bus stops in the winter.

Enfys - you've done a good job with P's things - it can't have been easy - but a lot of needy people will benefit.

I was saying I must get back to my family history this winter - I've neglected it for a couple of years.

Oma - after cleaning windows a few days ago, yesterday a pigeon flew into the front bedroom window, leaving a very large bird imprint on the outside! As for the back door! It's all glass and the nose and lick marks start low down and stretch up to the handle! Combined efforts of Eva and Cooper. I'm not cleaning it today as all 3 dogs will add their artistic touches!

Good morning. A lovely sunny morning here, haven’t been outside so I don’t know if it’s cold or not. There a beautiful blue sky, not a cloud in sight.

Felt so much better these past few days, I must get used to the ups and downs....the ups will soon outnumber the downs I’m sure. DS is FaceTiming this morning so that will be nice. He is going in to have his tonsils out in a few days and I know he’s a bit nervous but he has been suffering so much with tonsillitis recently. They do seem to be much quicker at getting things done “down under”.

Daisy, pleased to hear you are feeling a bit better.

Clover, I’m glad you were able to get out for a walk, it does make you feel better even if it was sad. I usually listen to something whilst I’m walking too, makes the walk go quicker somehow.

Glam, glad you’ve found a good little car, it will make a difference to you being able to get out and about.

Nana, thank you for message, I have replied.

Right, I must get going shower and have breakfast And be ready to speak to the family in Oz. Have a good day everyone 🌞,

          Good morning everyone.

Daisy, I hope you soon feel totally well, and I hope you and OH enjoy today.
That's good that your Kitchen Aid went to a good home Lizzie!
Towels in the wash here Nan2. It's sunny and may stay dry!
Enfys, I feel for your son. Recurrent tonsillitis is miserable. You feel so ill. Mine almost got the the stage of having them out in my 30's, then luckily settled down. I'm glad you are feeling brighter.

We are going to our friends house again this morning, for OH to help empty and put away the hot tub. They are moving in a few weeks, so this will be one less job to do.
OH and I have no other plans.

          Have a good one ladies.

Oma, yes, there is a dongle? in my car and when I am driving it records the number of km's I drive. I have to update the app every few weeks so will do that tomorrow, a strange thing happened the last time I did it, as I pull out of the garage there is a slight slope, I drove out and decided to update the km's, I did that, then got out of the car to close the garage door and the car was slowly moving down the slope, I have to move and fast! I was telling the neighbour in the next garage and he had done exactly the same a few weeks ago. They can't go far, but, if there is a car parked there would be a lot of damage. I am pleased with the insurance as I don't drive as much as I used to now that GD2 cycles to school.

Oma the car is silver and black interior we have always seemed to have gone for silver (they don't show the dirt as much)x
The weather is dry today and the sun trying to pop through so have put some whites on the line to dry off on the wirly gig which is in a part of the garden where it gets the sun all day,I don't have a tumble dryer anymore I gave it to my Angela when we moved here I don't have that much washing now only big items are the quilt covers if anything is damp or just out of washer I have one of those airers that fold away.
Oliver has taken to coming in every night now its getting colder but he is still out until 10/11ish I think he may have made friends with a new cat on the block.
I was hoping to plant some hollyhocks this weekend but they have not arrived from the garden centre I ordered them from I also ordered some lavender for the front to give a nice fragrance when you go out the front door I hope they arrive soon.
A lovely Bistro I visit often at the bottom of my Road has had to close for 2 weeks as one of the customers has tested positive for C19 I feel so sorry for the owners they had only opened as a new business in June this year and where doing so well, they will not qualify for any government help such a shame for them,it is on my daily walk with Poppy so she will miss her stop off for a drink and biscuits from the owner.

Daisy, sorry to hear you have been unwell, hope you have a lovely day with the family.

Glamm, pleased you have found a car you like, sounds just the job. I look on Go Compare when my insurance needs re-newing. It is a shame when small business have to close.

Our front drive looks very strange and bare with the trees gone and the hedges look tidy. I am very pleased we had it done but it was expensive. I have been shortening a pair of jeans for GD2 who is home atm. I decided to give up for the day, I broke the needle and have had enough for today.

I hope you manage to get that hot tub emptied this time Gemini, we are having a lovely day, lots of sunshine. I have been waiting for a parcel from Amazon and have just read an email stating they have delivered to our neighbours at the end of the track, I have been here all day, DD and family are out, they didn't come to me.

Plant how annoying you were in and they left them with a neighbour no excuse ,

Glamm i hope your plants come while the weather is mild

Lizzie i bet you were like a Olympic sprinter running after the car Just as well no other cars there though

Gem is the hot tub done ? did you see T after her sleep over did she have a good time ?

Daisy hope the day is going well and your not too unwell , nothing worse when your not 100% having to entertain xxx

Enfys did your FT go ok , how's DS ? Quicker them tonsils out the better,
although it is a bigger job when your older having them out it will give him so much ease .

I have had a Nana nap , apart from im a poor sleeper my arm and shoulder are not letting me rest much so i lay on sofa with cushions around me and slept a good solid hour

We bought Premier inn pillows a couple of month ago and they are really comfy so this morning B ordered a Premier inn Mattress ,

We have a beautiful memory foam one that is really comfy , but it is so hot as its solid memory foam not the foam topped type , it retains the heat something chronic so i spend a lot of time moving around the bed trying to get cool , i hate a hot bed or bedroom .
Fingers crossed a new one will be better .

When we get a new mattress I want a Premier Inn (Hypnos) one.

The hot tub is emptied, dried and packed away. Our friend was very glad to get it done. We were there a few hours, and she made sandwiches for lunch.
We got a line of towels dried. Who knows how many more drying days we will get before winter?!
