Oma, pleased that your MIL is back home. The hairdresser was very good, young and very friendly, she has cut it just like my own hairdresser so I was pleased. I love salmon as well Oma, DS2 gave me an Acti Fry, I wrap my salmon in tin foil with herbs etc and it is soon cooked.

The friend phoned to say he will come tomorrow or another day to drill the holes as he has done far too much today! I don't mind, I am not in a hurry.

WG, it must be so tiring all the hospital visits, I fell whilst ski-ing many years ago and tore a ligament in my knee, OH said he would rather me travel home in the car then wait for a flight, I had to inject myself for thrombosis twice a day on the way home and for a few weeks after as well. You will get used to doing it.

Gem, I saw the photo's on FB, your mum looked so happy.xx

DS1 has just phoned, they have all been to Delft today on their bikes, enjoyed walking round and had lunch etc. They are going to the boat tomorrow for a few days, GD1 has to work a few hours before they go.

Gem - so glad your mum enjoyed her day out. I bet she was very tired afterwards though.

Lizzie - a hairdresser you're happy with is a treasure! I hope it's good weather for your DS1 and family on their boat.

WeeGranny - how lovely to see your DD, and I'm sure a day off from kitchen duties is very welcome as well. Good luck with the injections.

Nanto - did you get your Friday fish and chips?

Plant - I'm glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. Don't overdo it.

Oma - I do hope your bloods results are ok, but you're right about your BP needing to be sorted out. I honestly don't know how you survive on so little sleep, and I'm sure that doesn't help. Have you talked to the doctor/nurse about that? Pleased to hear your MIL is on the mend.

I didn't get the labels finished. It seems to have been a busy day but this morning was hijacked by the dogs. We had sat down for a cup of tea and a chat and Eva climbed up on OH's lap and Cooper got up on mine - and the both fell fast asleep. Well, we couldn't disturb them, could we!! So we chatted and watched tv for over an hour and then decided to wake them up. We took them for a short run in the paddock after lunch and got back just in time for Sainsburys to deliver. Then I took Cooper home - he was so pleased to see his family again. I think this is the longest he's ever been away from them. Then back home, I just had time to get changed and we went round to our neighbours for a drink and nibbles. We've had a lovely relaxed evening. We took Eva with us - the first time she'd been in the house so she cheekily took herself on a tour round downstairs before settling down for a sleep. She was totally relaxed with their dog, Missy, which is fantastic.

We're out early in the morning to go up to DS1's so I may not put in an appearance until later.

        I hope everyone is ok.

Looking a bit overcast this morning.

Going to Pontefract today, so we will be eating out.

Daisy, we didn't have fish and chips yesterday.
Only get them every alternate week now,so we don't get bored with them.
We had homemade chips, scampi and garden peas.

Hope all those feeling under the weather feel better soon.

            Good morning everyone.

Have a good time in Pontefract Nan2. I know what you mean about fish and chips. They are one of my favourite meals, but I would get bored if we had them every week.

Good to hear MIL is home again Oma.

Daisy, Mum was SO tired! Have a lovely day at your DS's.

We have no plans for today, so we will see how the day goes. I do have the quiz to compile for Monday night so I will get on with that today.
            Have a good day everyone.

Oma, I am tired just reading what you have done this morning! I have been for my veg etc, oh, the Lidl first, then came home and got one door ready to paint. The one leading out onto the balcony should be done with it but I am waiting to see what happens when we get new glass, doors etc. When I do not know.

Oma, you make me feel like a slut. I wash the occasional door when I see fingerprints on it. I do dust skirting and doors with the long fluffy thing. It must be lovely to see it all sparkling .

Daisy, your dogs are so lovely, they are quite big to sit on laps. Pleased Eva gets on with neighbours dog. enjoy your trip, I hope the traffic isn’t too bad.

My day yesterday was very busy, Capet cleaner man arrived at 10, Warfarin check at 11, I called in to see a friend who lives in a M&Stone flat to fix a time to pick her up today. Physio at 4pm then breathe. I am feeling better and the Warfarin nurse said my INR is too high because of the sickness sand wants me to step up the veg now I am feeling better and wants to see me again in 2 weeks. Final arrangements for the wedding next Sat taking place. DD has taken over the setting plan, she wasn’t happy as it was.

                        Good moaning each.
Crikey Oma, I was gloating to myself as I have emptied the dishwasher, put a load of washing in and had breakfast and it’s only 10am!
We are doing salads and cheese for our club BBQ on Sunday, so I thought I would wash the fruit today. That should keep me off the street corners!
Nanto2, I haven’t been to Pontefract. We were planning to go north to do a few (OH’s) family visits and I was going to be treated to a tour of places I haven’t been to. I shall add Pontefract to the list.
Once again I am car less. My car is now known as ‘the pool car’. DD2’s car needs a new gearbox and DD1’s is off the road too! She has borrowed one from a friend. What is it with my girls and cars? They are both good drivers. Perhaps they should drive tanks.
                        Onward and upward…
P.s. I did leave a little dish of grain out for the mouse and I got more footage which the GCs were delighted to see.

Grauntie, we film the hedgehogs some nights, and see a little mouse on the film sometimes. A daring mouse as several cats travel through our garden, as well as our resident one!
By the way if you hit York on your tour I would be happy to meet up for coffee if you want to, and I am free

                          That was busy day Plant.

First injection done with no adverse reaction on the part of the patient!!

Went out for a riverside walk with DD this morning and then we've been down to a riverside pub for a drink or two this afternoon. Lovely to have my two DC together. DD now gone home and we're trying to decide what to have for dinner, pizza, salmon en croute or southern fried chicken!

Glad Plant and Oma's MiL are feeling better.

Have a good evening ladies x
