Good morning Nan2 and everyone else. Another week begins!

I'm glad Sunday lunch was good Oma.
Lizzie, I hate unreliability like that!

We had a lovely meal out last night. Food and company great, it was go nice to be out as a group again. The two friends who gave us a lift came in for a cuppa when they dropped us off.
Our friend H is calling in this morning for coffee and to deliver the artwork GD and GS2 did at her workshop.
This afternoon I need to go to the Halifax to change the address on my mum's banking details. Can't be done online sadly. I pass Aldi to get there so may call in for a couple of things.
Quiz tonight, I have set it.

        Have a good day everyone.

Nanto, good luck with the decorating. thanks for the sparkling rainbow.

I woke up quite early this morning, the sun was shining well a watery sunshine. Countdown to wedding for us starting today, everything planned and booked. Gardening doesn’t help with nails, wonder if I might get an appt. to have them smartened up. I heard yesterday that the funeral for the gentleman who died a week ago is a burial Thursday week.

Daisy, I have my breakfast as soon as I get up and lunch about 12.30.

          I will pop back later.

Good Monday morning everyone. I don't know why I keep thinking it's Tuesday though!!

It's a bright sunny day, although it's due to cloud over later. I was up bright and early for an 8.30 appointment for a blood test. I got there early, went straight in and was back home by 8.45 - OH still asleep!

GD2 has another cookery lesson today, so plans have changed and their other gran will take her and collect her, so it seemed sensible for her to have GD1 as well. (She lives near by). So I've got an unexpectedly free day. Both Eva and Cooper are still sleeping off their busy week last week. Normal service will be resumed tomorrow!

Nanto - how lovely to have your room done in a day like that. What colour have you chosen?

Plant - an exciting week for your family with the wedding. You're right about gardening and nails. I've decided when my nails are growing well and looking ok it means the weeds are also thriving! I'll get out with the hoe today and also mow the lawn. I can't face food first thing, so when I was working I mostly skipped breakfast.

Gem - I'm sure you will remember last night's meal out for ages. So lovely to meet up with friends again. I loved GD and GS2's artwork. What a talented lady H is to set up and run workshops like that. Quite a busy day for you today - enjoy your quiz tonight as well.

Oma - the reputation of good restaurants like that spread quickly. It sounds brilliant.

            Have a good day everyone.

              Good Morning ladies ,
Up early and did my Ironing , I didn't get it done yesterday so did it before I got dressed ,
We then popped to Morrisons for a few bits .

Had a terrible dream last night , Dreamed we were caught in a flood and we were going to die in it ,walking by a riverside and ahead was a land slide , I could see trees falling and everything getting swept into the river and I knew we were next ,
I actually woke up crying and in a panic ,
I had to come down stairs and calm down .

Nanto hope your all finished and back to normal by tea time I love a freshly decorated room

Gem good luck on the quiz going smoothly

Plant its all systems go at your end so exciting

Daisy a free day means its all yours and you don't have to do anything if you don't want to

Oma - what a scary dream. It sounds like the sort of dream you need to wake yourself up from. Did you eventually get back to sleep?

I'm not so sure about a 'free' day. I've got all sorts of jobs on the back burner and perhaps I'll deal with one or two of those. Perhaps!

Eye Clinic visit this morning, only took just over an hour. All as should be, back again in 3-4 weeks and then another couple of visits after that. Still gas in the eye, so no flying. That puts paid to our trip to Edinburgh next month sadly.

Grey and chilly here today, but the washing I put out before we left is drying nicely in the strong wind. Need to finish ironing later and do a bit of housework. Not sure what else is on the agenda. After a gorgeous day yesterday, this dreary weather doesn't inspire you to do very much.

Hope everyone has a good day whatever you're up to xx.

WeeGranny - what a pity your trip to Edinburgh won't take place. You must be very disappointed, but hopefully the gas in the OH's will respond to treatment and you'll be flying high. xx

It's got quite windy here now - perhaps I should get some washing on as well!

Hallo ladies, we have had a few heavy showers today, I had my washing out but it dodged the rain.

Oma, I can have nightmares like that, they often wake me up.

Plant, I don't know about your nails with gardening, mine need some TLC after the decorating.

Gem, you would enjoy the meal out with friends.

My other neighbour was here at 9am as promised to drill the holes, he then left me to paint the walls and was back at 12am so hang the racks up, so, the room is now finished and looking so much lighter and brighter.

Ladies, the decorating is not being done until thursday.
                              Daisy,we aren't changing the colour.
                              Everything is colour co-ordinated.
We have kings red on the front wall, and the rest of the walls are magnolia.
I know a lot think magnolia is boring, but we like it.
We just want the room freshened up.

                              Oma,that was some dream/nightmare.

Gem,pleased you had a good night out.

                              Lizzie,the rooms looks lovely.

WeeGranny, what a shame your trip is off,but there will be other times.
