Poor MIL Oma, I hope she feels better soon. All these things are harder when you are older. Great news about GS1!
I just told the estate agent to tell him we wont be taking it off the market. Everything is done via them. We could only approach that last buyer as we know where he lives!

I have had breakfast outside with OH, hung two washloads out, and been to the pharmacy for our repeat prescriptions and done a couple of emails, and filled in the form to enable us to take my mum mum out tomorrow.
Lunch now and Handmaid's Tale, then see what this afternoon brings. It's lovely out so I may go into the garden

Oma, DS1 and family have a boat in Zeeland, those are the islands at the bottom of the Netherlands. Very popular! I have been a few times but not to this island so it will be new to explore. My birthday present from them was a hotel but I booked a B&B. I will take my bike of course.

Been and collected lawnmower. Was planning to use it this afternoon, but Oh is sound asleep and I don't really want to wake him. Would like to get some done today as the green bins go out tonight.

Well, am getting another string to my bow as they say. OH is to start injections tomorrow and I'm being shown how to administer them. Not looking forward to it, but needs must. Spoke to the CLL nurse earlier and she was very surprised that the other lot had gone ahead with the chemo as his bloods were so low. She said it's a brutal treatment! He's not in a good place mind wise today either. But, we shall get there, somehow or other!

Hope MiL soon feels better Oma! OH still has the bruise from the canula from when he had the operation on his detached retina almost 3 weeks ago!

Off to do some paper shredding before the pile gets any bigger and some filing, sadly that's another job that's fallen to me! But it means I can get rid of ancient bits of paper that are just taking up space in filing cabinet!!

          Enjoy your afternoon ladies xx

p.s. well done to all those clever GC!!

WeeGranny - you have such a lot on your plate, and I really admire how you're coping. I hope adding injections to your skill set isn't too daunting. I know Oma learned when Mr O was ill, and I learned how to inject one of our dogs when he developed diabetes. I think the dog was much easier! I do feel for your OH as well - everything seems to be making life harder for him (and you). I can quite understand why you left him to sleep.

            Shredding is quite therapeutic.

Lizzie - the islands sound lovely. I love clusters of small islands, they always seem to have a relaxed, laid back air about them. It's all that messing about in boats I think.

Oma - your poor MIL. Thank goodness you were warned about the after effects though. At least you can all reassure her, and hopefully she'll rest until she feels stronger.

Plant - I hope your meds are sorted out. How are you feeling now after that tummy upset?

Gem - enjoy your free day! You don't get many of them. xx

B just gone to take MIL into Hospital ,
His sister rang to say she wasn't well at all ,
she rang Hospital and the Dr said he wanted to see her and they would send a Ambulance but it would take at least 2-3 hours

So its quicker for B to take her in ,
He will stay and speak to the Dr she may have to stay in .

Lizzie, sounds like a lovely break for you.

Oma, so sorry Mil is not well after her procedure, Hope the hospital can reassure her.

WG, I had to inject my OH’s tummy, they just gave me one lesson at the hospital. Try injecting an orange first. I need to do some shredding and filing too WG.

I have been to the chemist and consulted her about what I should eat as I felt a bit queasy after having cereal and tea for breakfast. So no milk, Toast, noodles and rice and water, sounds like a prison diet. Mainly no milk products. Having waited an hour for the telephone call from the clinical pharmacist, they sent a text saying it will now be next Tues. It is being paid for by Bayer, the drugs company,so they are probably trying to sell their drugs. It is purely about my AF drugs which are supplied by the hospital not by the surgery. I am happy with them so I am certainly not going to be persuaded to change. I think I will be out next Tues.

Weather not good for us today, cloudy, drizzle, after two lovely days this is disappointing.

How did the crazy golf go Daisy?

                          Good evening!
I hope MiL is ok Oma, and glad you are on the mend Plant.
WG I had to inject myself after my recent ops. I couldn’t do it! Too painful. I have injected OH under his instruction (diabetic). Just in case. 😬
Lizzie your break sounds lovely, enjoy.
Gem, I hope you got to watch The Handmaid’s Tale in peace. I didn’t enjoy the first few episodes of this series but have now become addicted again.
Crazy golf for us today, too, Daisy. All the GCs together for once. It was great fun. OH organised everything as the course is at his club. He is getting very good at entertaining the GCs. He took them on a walk out to the Mulberry Harbour which can only be reached at low tide, but they could swim around it.
My brother has loaned me his night camera. I saw that a mouse had chomped it’s way through a sack of bird food in my shed so I set the camera up to record the little blighter. I got some great footage and now all the food is swept up and in a mouse proof box and I feel mean! I might have to leave him a little dish full.
                          Enjoy your evening ladies.

Hope MiL is OK Oma and that she doesn't have to wait as long as we did in A&E........11 hours we were there before we were set free, only to have to be back there for 9.30 the following morning!! Next day 13 hours but he did have an operation in that time!!!!

What a ridiculous time to wait for an ambulance though. Hope B is allowed to go in with her.

They have kept her in and she is on Morphine for the pain and having her arm elevated ,
It had swollen to three times its size and is black from her finger tips to her arm pit ,

Dr assured B it was due to all the Warfarin they gave her yesterday but B said she was really poorly and in pain .

Dr also told B they had asked her not to go home yesterday as they wanted her to stay and be monitored but she refused ,
If she had stayed this could have been treated before it got to this stage ,
She is so stubborn though but today she had no choice and she knew she had to stay .

His Sister is taking her overnight bag in tonight as they forgot to take it this afternoon so we will find out how she is later on when his sister rings .
