Evening ladies , first chance to get on today ,
went out early looking for coffee table etc , we trailed everywhere ,
Lots of places saying same thing , ports blocked so things on order taking weeks to arrive ,
Could find the odd coffee table but no matching side tables , or nice side tables but no coffee table , Its a nightmare ,
Then had to go pick some stuff up from Sainsburys click and collect clothing ,
Came home had lunch then went out looking again , still no luck .
Came home and we had a surprise visit from M&C they had been to MIL's she's fine today .
Had tea together fish & chips and they have not long left ,
Went on line and I have found a nice table and side tables from of all places JD Williams , they arrive on Thursday with luck
Plant i find it takes a few days to get used to new tech things but im sure you will get the hang of it quickly
Gem good to know your Mum is happy and your ok xxx
Oma, pleased you've got sorted with the furniture again.
I'd only been home less than an hour from in laws this morning.
Mam was in tears, asked if i could go back to theirs.
Hubby's brother had a heart attack this morning, and mam was in a state.
Dad was ok, but to be honest he's useless when mam is upset or poorly.
Anyway, BIL was taken to Sheffield hospital. They've put 2 stents in.
Hoping to move him to our local hospital over the weekend,if there is a bed available.
We spoke to BIL and says he just feels very tired. Told him we're all thinking of him.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
How upsetting for your MIL Nan 2. My OH's brother had stents after a heart attack many years ago and is doing well. I hope your BIL makes a full recovery.
Good to hear your MIL is OK today Oma.

Dull here too Nan2. I hope your BIL had a comfortable night.
Hoping Grauntie is doing well too.
We are spending most of the weekend at my mum's. Final push of cleaning and getting things out. Once the bulky items have been collected by the council on Tuesday, remaining things can go in the garage until we move them. That is Wednesday morning's job. The estate agent and photographer are going on Thursday. I have asked the window cleaner to go before photograph day.
No other real plans for this weekend.
Have a good one ladies.

Nanto - I hope your MIL's BIL is ok and is able to move to a more local hospital. It must have been a shock for all of them. Enjoy your little jaunt out today.
Gem - things are gathering pace now with your mum's bungalow. I'm sure you will feel both relieved and sad when it's on the market.
Oma - I hope the new furniture arrives safely and you're pleased with it. You often find things in surprising places though.
Plant - how are you getting on with your new iPad? It's great to have new tech, but it takes a while to get used to it! Good luck. I do hope the wedding isn't affected by the Covid situation.
We're going up to DS1's this morning to give them a hand with a few jobs in the garden, provided it's not raining too hard. They're having a new patio built and need to get things moved round so the workmen can get on with the actual gardening. We had a nice time yesterday - a friend came round to celebrate her birthday which was lovely.
Hopefully I'll be back later today, but in the meantime, I hope everyone has a good day. Take care. xx

WG how is oh ? how's he healing and are you ok any progress on the move ? xx
GM how you doing hope your on the mend and hubby looking after you well .
Haven't heard from MIMI for a while hope the garden is coming on and she is ok .
Daisy, relieved and sad is exactly right. As we had the house from new and I was 3 when we bought it it has so many memories. I have managed to stay quite unemotional about it until this week, but putting it up for sale makes me feel sad it won't be ours any more. I know mum would love one of the family to live in it, but it's not right for any of us.
I hope it stays fine for you today.
Oma, OH played golf 3 days this week. One was a competition. I think she did well in all, and came second ( with her playing partner) on competition day.
I didn't know we were due a heatwave!
We are just waiting for the wash to finish so we can get the bedding on the line, then off to the bungalow with our rubber gloves!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes, I had a really bad start! I had cystitis 10 days ago, got antibiotics but I still felt it, I took my sample yesterday and got medicine and they have sent the sample to the lab, the medicine was a powder to be mixed with water and taken at bed time, oh dear, I woke at 1am and it felt like I was in labour, I actually cried from the pain, we have a doctors post for the evenings and weekends and I was going to phone them to see what I could do but then decided to take painkillers and drink lots and lots of water, that did help and about 4am I managed to get some sleep. I can still feel it but nothing like it was, I went to the dispensary and she said it would be the medicine fighting the bacteria! It certainly put up a fight.
I so feel better now though, both families are coming for a meal, GD2 chose what to eat, wraps, quite easy for me, I just have to make sure I have everything we will need.
Oma, well done at finding the furniture.
Gem, it will be emotional for you selling the house.
Plant, have you got used to the new iPad ?
Nanto, I hope your BIL makes a full recovery.
Daisy, I hope it stayed dry for you to help in the garden, showers are forecast here.
New I pad is great, I am having to wean myself off my very old computer. I am finding it difficult to get straight onto here, will have a word with someone.
It must be very emotional for you Gemini. I am sure it will be better when it is all settled.
