Daisy my appointment is at 10.40. We have a vet's appointment at 9.30 as Henry's eye is watering again.
OH's birthday and we had planned a day out. She then got the chance to play in a golf competition which makes her happy 🙂 So my dentist trip won't be spoiling anything!

I had a nice chat over coffee and a Kit Kat with my ex neighbour. He's so sweet he always gives me a Beauty and The Beast mug as he knows it's my favourite Disney film! ( fellow Disney fans 🙂)
2 friends turned up with a card for OH whilst GS was here, so we had a nice chat with them.

Wall to wall sunshine this morning. Sadly, the forecast is the same as yesterday.
Sun,showers and heavy rain with thunderstorms.
We had a hummdinger of a storm last night. I was inbed,but i laid watching the lightening.

We are popping to Farmfoods this morning. I want some Carte D'Or ice cream.

Off to sort some washing out now.

Daisy lockdown has been rough on T, ex neighbour. He was one of those who had to shield in the last lockdown. He has only been out for medical appointments. He has a Tesco weekly delivery and goes out at 6 each Saturday morning to collect the papers from the local Co Op. He sets his alarm to be there early. I gave him a little talking to yesterday about things being safer now, and him needing to get out for things other than doctors. He was at 2 or three different theatres each week before, travelling by bus or train. He has started to book things again at least. I think those who live alone and don't drive have been very isolated.

I was trying to send Henry to the vet a day early - it is tomorrow! I knew there was sometime else going on shortly afterwards, but in fact it was tomorrow's estate agent valuation at mums, not today's dentist!
I have told the librarian I may not be in this afternoon, if I have an extraction, but fine to come in of not. She said just take it easy in either case and see me next week. So a free day apart from the dentist.

It feels very cold here but it's sunny. Have a good day everyone.

Had a lovely long chat with my sister last night she phoned to tell me her 3rd GGC is on its way , her Grandson has been married 8 years and they were in no hurry for a child then this little one popped on the scene

Had phone appointment with my Dr again last night again she was almost 2 hours late phoning ,
Anyway there is a problem still with my bloods she is going to consult a Hematologist get their advice see what to do next as she hasn't got a clue what is wrong with them

Good morning, a lovely morning here, I have been to the Makro in the car so want to get out for a bike ride. I had a headache yesterday, I realised why, flowers! I was at the supermarket early on Monday and got a huge bunch of flowers given that hadn't been sold on Mothers Day, I should have said "no, give them to the next customer", but I took them, all different flowers with pollen, so, sadly they have had to go. Will I ever learn????

Oma, I hope they find out what is wrong with your blood. Your sister will be pleased welcoming a new baby in the family.

I went to the Lidl and the market early, cycling along I saw a police van and a young dark girl was laying in the road, not moving, there must have been 3 of them cycling to school, if she fell or had an attack or something I don't know but she was laid still on the road for 45 minutes at least, another police came and an ambulance but no sirens so I do not know what happened. I could see it all happening whilst watering my plants. It could be in the local paper later on.

I am going to have a shower in my new shower cubical this morning but I can't put everything back and clean everywhere because I need to go to the bank early. This afternoon I am with other WI members at a WI committee member's house for tea. Weather forecast doesn't hold out much hope for a change in the weather.

Good morning everyone. It's the same forecast here, Nanto - sunshine and rain. We escaped the storm yesterday, though. I hope you get your washing dried ok.

Gem - I think we've been so used to having nothing in our dairies and keep losing track of what day it is, it's easy to get mixed up with things. I'm sure Henry doesn't mind putting off his trip to the vets until tomorrow. I hope everything goes well at the dentist today and you can start to feel better again. Are you having a little celebration for S's birthday this evening?

Oma - what lovely news for your sister, and all the family. When is the baby due? Have a lovely day with Storm. Is he ok now? Oh dear, I do hope the Haematologist can work out why your bloods are as they are.

Lizzie - what a pity you can't enjoy all those lovely flowers, but it's not worth suffering headaches like that. I hope the young cyclist is ok. It sounds a long time for the paramedics to not be moving her.

I went to collect Cooper first thing this morning, and he and Eva have just settled down for a sleep! It's not a bad life, is it! Eva had tripe for breakfast this morning, and I think Cooper did as well - they are both breathing fire!!

Good morning. A lovely sunny day here although we had a very heavy shower earlier. Hope your Dental visit goes well Gem.

My day yesterday turned out very busy, I cleaned out all the cupboards and drawers in the bedroom, have lots of stuff to,get rid of now but a good job done, this morning I attacked the big cupboard in the kitchen where I keep Hoover, ironing board cleaning things etc. That’s had a good sort out too, feeling very virtuous 😇.

I think I have Dexter later. DGS is not working today but I think he is meeting up with his girlfriend in town so Dexter can come here. I don’t mind, he’s good company and doesn’t answer back!

Heard from DILs mother, she had the results of her scan and all good. No sign of cancer anywhere else, so that’s a relief, she’s just waiting for the keyhole surgery now. Feel very happy for her, but also sad that it wasn’t the same for P.

now sitting with a cuppa before collecting Dex and having lunch. I have just had two new drawing books delivered so will enjoy reading them this afternoon. Enjoy your day everyone 🌞

when B goes in he has to leave the door open or Storm gets upset and paws the door and keeps running into me to go look

The tooth is still there, but has been packed with a sedating something to 'calm it down', and filled a bit. I am on the list for a cancelation if one comes up. I am back on antibiotics, a stronger dose. I will start them tomorrow so I can have a drink tonight to celebrate OH's birthday. I haven't had one since I finished the last lot on Sunday, so I may as well have one tonight!

I went to M &S after the dentist and bought a rotisserie cooked chicken for tea, so will cook OH a nice birthday meal. Prawn cocktail for starters. I bought birthday cake and two friends are popping round at 3 to have soem with us ,with a cuppa.
I hope OH is having a good golf game!

Oma - I'm sure the weeks will fly by for your sister's new GGC. Storm is obviously worried that the shed will swallow B up whole! Eva's the same when my OH is in his shed. She wants the door open so she can go in and out, but when he's actually wood turning there's sawdust and shavings everywhere!

Enfys - what a good clear out you've had. I thought it was the sun shining, but it must be your halo. We didn't have any rain this morning. Good news for your DIL's mum, but like you say, if only it could have been like that for your lovely P. Sending hugs, enjoy your afternoon reading.

I got chocolate chip mint and a vanilla one.

Forgot to say,we haven't had any bad weather today yet.
It's looked a bit iffy at times with some very dark clouds,but its stayed dry.
