Lizzie - what a lovely retirement hobby, delivering boats! I'm glad DS1 and family are enjoying their boat - and I hope they get some decent weather this summer to go out and about in it.

Oma - poor you. Do take it easy - I'm sure Storm will be happy to let you rest and give him a cuddle at the same time. I hope GS1's match goes well.

I am not sure what the day holds for me, I would like to get some gardening done. We had a beautiful double full rainbow yesterday evening, sil took some lovely pictures of it. The garden is looking very blue at the moment the bluebells have crept in from the woods and forget-me-knot has seeded itself.

Plant - our back garden has lots of self-seeded forget-me-nots. I love them, but I know some people think of them as weeds.

Oma - have you had a nana nap yet? x

                Afternoon ladies ,

Storm went home at lunch time ,
                GS's team won AGAIN Daisy

We had lunch then I lay on the sofa and slept soundly for just over a hour , B said I snored loudly in fact it was that that woke me I could hear myself hahaha

Feel groggy but more human .

Plant I would love Bluebells and forget me knots
B's sister lived in a flat many years ago and the little front garden was hers , Bluebells over took it and it looks amazing when they flowered , people would come to look at the Bluebell garden ,
When she moved she dug some up and put them in her new garden , they never came up sadly .

Mimi if the ceiling has to come down look at it as a positive it means it will be all new and smooth when finished
DD is having 3 windows in the conservatory replaced as they have blown ,
Poor kitty isnt getting any better is it xx

Nanto nice to have a good giggle when your feeling low it brings a bit normality back doesn't it xx

Lizzie how do you feel today , do you think its going , well done the family noticing your not on top form , sounds like a good day though . Did they enjoy the wraps ?

Gem we have to go to the Tip as some point this week ,
SIL putting new carpet down on Tuesday so old carpet coming up tomorrow , we also have some boxes to take and packing material , then my new tables coming this week so there may be that packaging if I like them and they ok ,
The car will be full .

Daisy at least it meant you spent time with the family and an excuse for another visit to do the jobs you couldn't get done
How is Eva liking her friend living next door or is it driving her crazy just a fence between them

WG good news about Biopsy but don't you go getting yourself a injury lobbing stuff in the skip ,
Its so tempting getting rid of stuff but if its heavy ask a neighbour to help lift it don't do it yourself ,
You will be no use to Hubby if your hip gives way all together now will you xx

Going to make a cup of tea now i feel a bit more awake
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Hope the cystitus clears up soon.

Oma, hope you feel less tired now.

I'm back to my old self now, must have just been a blip in the road.

GD2 invited herself for dinner, and seeing her cheered me up as well.

Daisy I LOVE forget me nots. We have lots in the garden too.
Nan2, how nice to have GD coming for dinner, I bet that did cheer you up.
Good to hear you are feeling a bit more like yourself Oma.

We have finished the cleaning at Mum's. Nothing to be done until we move the items from the garage onto the drive tomorrow for the council to collect on Tuesday.
We saw DD and SIL3 as DD had sold the fridge freezer and was meeting the buyer there. The buyer didn't turn up though, so in the end they left. They managed to fit it into the garage, easier to get out when we (hopefully) do sell it.

Good to hear you are almost finished at Mums.
What a shame the fridge/freezer buyer didn't turn up, it happens though.

Oma,glad you are feeling more human.

We had heavy rain about 4ish with thunder, but no lightening.

Oma - well done to your GS1 and his team. They seem to be doing very well. I'm glad you had enough sleep to make you feel a bit better, but hopefully not so much that you can't sleep tonight. I'm sure you're looking forward to getting your new carpets laid on Tuesday. Hopefully by the end of this week you'll be able to sit back and relax as everything will have been done in your house. x Eva is fine with Missy living next door. She knows when Missy's in the garden and goes and air scents on that side of our garden, but that's all. You are right - we did have a bit more time to just sit and chat with DS1 and DIL.

Gem - what a nuisance the people who were supposed to be buying the fridge-freezer didn't turn up. What a waste of your DD3 and SIL's time. I bet you're relieved the cleaning is all done at your mum's.

Nanto - so glad to hear you're back on form. Perhaps you were fighting of a cold or just got overtired without realising. xx

Plant - how lovely to have a perfect double rainbow. What did you do today in the end?

I haven't done much today. We stripped our bed and I washed the bedding this morning. A friend called round for a quick coffee - it was raining so sat in the dining room with the French windows ope, but it was quite chilly. After lunch we were going to take Eva to the paddock for a run, but she was licking one paw quite a lot and we think she hurt it playing with Bailey yesterday. The weather was rubbish as well! So I did some painting. I've had the same canvas on the easel for several weeks and either haven't felt like painting or not had time. So I put some clouds in the sky today and sketched in some big rocks on the beach. I've never tried painting rocks before - it's harder than I thought! LOL

                          Good morning,a bit overcast here.

Oma, well done to the footballers.

Downstairs is done.Want to change bedding and do upstairs later.

Dinner is homemade chips, gammon with onion rings and garden peas.

Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning, yes Oma, I am feeling better, thankfully. The wraps went down very well, all was eaten so must have been tasty. You will be busy getting ready for the new carpet etc.

                            What is a "blown" window?

Shame about the fridge Gem, that happens far too often.

It is dry here at the moment but we have already had a few heavy showers.

                              Good morning ladies.
                              An overcast one here.
OH is about to set off for Ilkley to play in a team of four (golf of course!)
I have a Tesco delivery later this morning. When OH is back from golf, about 6pm maybe, we will go over to mum's. We need to get the 10 bulky items out of the garage and onto the drive, ready for collection tomorrow.

Dinner sounds good Nan2. I like a fried egg and pineapple ring with mine, but not the onion rings
Good to hear you are painting again Daisy.
Well done to GS's team Oma!
Lizzie, I think it is when it becomes a bit white and cloudy between the panes. We are going to have one of our back bedroom windows done for that reason.

Happy Monday, I hope it is good week for all. We can meet people indoors now, and hug with caution!

                                Good morning everyone.

The sun is shining (at the moment) to celebrate another easing of lockdown regulations today. We are celebrating (very cautiously) tonight with our new neighbours. They have invited us round for a drink and to see all the work they've done on the house since they bought it in October. It feels daring and exciting!!

Nanto - you've had a busy start to the day. My OH's favourite for eating out is gammon egg and chips! He loves it.

Lizzie - I'm glad you're feeling better. What did you put in your wraps? A blown window is where air and therefore moisture gets between the two pains of glass and fogs it up.

OH is off for an early tip run - we're still on tiresome appointments and only one person allowed, which means he can't take the glass tv stand as he can't lift it on his own.

I'm going to cook and freeze a casserole for when OH's sister, BIL and two nieces come for lunch next week. After that, I might do some more painting.

Grauntie - I hope you are feeling better, and wonder if you are home yet. xx

WeeGranny - did you manage to get some rest to ease your hip yesterday?

Mimi - which day are your blown windows being fixed?
