I love it Nan2! Mum had one for long time, but it was wooden and eventually rotted.

A man came this afternoon and collected ALL the wool, on behalf of his daughter!
DD1 also came round to use the loo on the way to pick up GS1 from school. They are having a downstairs loo put into the under-stairs cupboard. The plumbers turned off the water with no warning!

My car passed the MOT after a bit of work done by the guy just small bitty stuff so with the new MOT it cost just under £300 so not too bad for a 19yr old little car but I will certainly replace it before next one is due I don't use it everyday or for motorway driving just for bobbing about locally so I don't need anything thats all singing and dancing.

              Well what a day
As I said earlier we were both up at 4am so felt drained but we went to MIL's this morning ,
She was actually quite pleasant ,
While we were there she mentioned she had been having a few chest pains but that they were coming and going .
We told her she should ring the Dr's just to have a word , she said she might if they continued ,

We left went to Aldi came home had lunch and I said to B im going to have a lie on the bed for a hour .

Just about to go upstairs when my phone rang it was B's sister ,
MIL had gone to Morrisons and mentioned to the girl on the checkout her chest was hurting after pushing the trollie and then all hell broke loose
They insisted she must have a Ambulance to check her out and wouldn't let her leave till she was seen .

Ambulance came and took her to Hospital , so far everything has checked out fine but she is still there as they want to do x ray's to see if she has a chest infection .

She had rang SIL to go pick her shopping up at Morrisons , SIL was at the sea side but when straight there and MIL phoned from the Ambulance to check she had so still able to boss everyone around .

We are waiting to see if they are keeping her for the night or we have to go collect her .
She is most put out as they are treating her as a old woman but we keep telling her she's 87 of course she is old

What a day Oma. Hope MIL is ok.
If they keep her in,i'm sure she will tell doctors and nurses how to do their job.

She is home , put her on statins and Aspirin till they get the results back but don't think it is heart trouble
A Dr came to see her she said he was very young so she told him he looked like a cleaner she made him show her his badge to prove he was a Dr .
I am so glad we were not with her

A brief good morning from me. I'm taking Eva out with our neighbour in a few minutes - while the weather's behaving - back later.

Good morning Nan2, Daisy and all who follow this Friday morning.

Enjoy the fish and chips Nan2, we all enjoyed ours last night!
I hope it kept dry for yours and Eva's walk Daisy.

It's dry here but looking dubious, not sure if rain is forecast though.
Visiting mum and school run are on my agenda today.

I hope everyone is well and has a good day.

Oma, I hope Mil is okay, I bet she was a subject talked about in the rest room.

I am off to get my warfarin checked soon so I shall report back later.

Back from a lovely long walk. Eva is now out for the count, but she pulled and hassled nearly all the way! Little minx.

Oma - I'm glad your MIL is home and ok. I had to laugh at her asking to see the doctor's badge. Mind you, you'd be worried if she's gone all meek and mild, wouldn't you. xx

Oooh, I really fancy fish and chips! Preferably sitting on a sea wall somewhere, Nanto.

Gem - how is your tooth today? Enjoy your school run, and I hope your mum is ok. Thank goodness it's nothing serious with Henry's eye. The wool will be going to a good home, I'm sure.

Plant - fingers crossed for your warfarin check up.

Glamm - your little car is doing great! You must be very pleased with your choice, and it sounds ideal for the local trips you're doing.

Nanto - when my DS2 moved house a few years ago there was a birdbath and a sundial in the garden which they didn't want. The sundial sits beautifully on the slate area of our front garden, and the bird bath has been well used by the local feathery residents. It's now cracked, but we're going to replace it. Our OHs are so alike - won't throw anything away.

Off to the day job in a minute - a bit of pushing the sucky up thing round!

                              Have a good day everyone.

Had a phone call this morning from GD, she hadn’t got her car and would like to go to JL, GD bought a bucket and mop, I came back with a new IPad with keyboard. GD then spent most of the afternoon transferring things from my old one to the new one. I am now using it. I now need to get rid of my very very old computer and find a home for my I pad
Baby H was with partner’s mother. The news about the Indian Virus is very worrying, it might have some impact on the wedding

Gemini, I hope the visit to see your mum went well.

Oma, pleased to hear Mil is out of hospital

Grauntie, if you are looking in, I hope you are behaving yourself.

Nanto, I am having sort of fish and chips, I have a fish cake, sweet potato chips and carrots and peas.

                                .
