I shall be watching the England v Scotland match with Sil, might watch some of the other match. Baby H apparently settled down and went from 9pm to 5am. I was just leaving for a stroll up the to the corner and GD and partner were just setting of for a walk around the village with baby H.

Oma, pleased to hear B i feeling better although tired. Pleased you have been okay.

The weather forecast is saying we might not get the snow. We are having a lovely sunny day, I am just going to go out and fill the bird feeders.

Yes, it was a surprise for the lift men, I think they expected me to have alzeimers!!!! Not many elderly ladies in the flat with a complete workshop!!! It was my hubby's and is still there!

I have been to DS2 for lunch, my DIL was divorced and has 2 grown up girls, the youngest is expecting a baby and they have the rompers with grandma and granddad on, a nice thought as DS2 has always been more of a father to them then their own father. The daughter isn't having it easy with morning sickness etc so I hope that it soon clears.

Plant - glad little H had a good night eventually. She must have tired herself out to sleep that long. After the fog lifted it's been a nice sunny day here as well, although the forecast for tomorrow doesn't look so good.

Lizzie - nature isn't very kind to newly pregnant mums when morning sickness comes as part of the package. Poor girl, I hope it passes soon. My OH has a complete workshop but I wouldn't know what half the things are, still less how to use them, so well done to you.

Oma - there doesn't seem any logic in who gets side effects of the jab and who gets off scott-free, does there. I'm glad B is ok now, though. xx

Lizzie I had severe all day sickness with DDs 1 and 3. I sympathise with poor mums who are sick.
I hope you enjoy the rugby Plant.
Good to know B is feeling better Oma. I think the tiredness can last a little while.

GC safely delivered home. We stopped for a cuppa with DD and SIL. A strange but good feeling to be in anyone's house but our own. The first time this year apart from a quick no-sit-down tour of DD1's new house last week.
They had a good sleepover and were very good.
The roads were wet Daisy, but driving was OK.
We came back via Thomas the Baker and treated ourselves to lunch from there. We had a game of Scrabble this afternoon.

Lizzie pregnancy sickness is awful. I had it for the full 9 months with DS1, right up to 4 hours before he was born.

Gem, what a lovely time you had with the grandchildren.

Plant, what a good sleep H had.

Oma,did B have the shivers as well. Of all those we know who had the jab, i was the only one with side effects.

OH has his tomorrow afternoon. I haven’t heard anything yet. DD2 had to take a day off after hers but was feeling better this morning.

Had a zoom “visit” earlier with all four grandchildren and the new puppy! The two toddlers were mainly interested in each other and the dog. We did get to sing Old MacDonald again and again and again! The teenagers were showing off the puppy as they only picked him up yesterday. He’s going to be huge!
                  xx

                    Good morning everyone.
Shem I but that was a fun Zoom meeting!

I hope B and all other vaccinees are feeling OK now.

No plans today as far as I am aware. Catching up on programmes and OH starting a new jigsaw will be on the agenda I'm sure.
We are in for a few very cold days I believe. It has been quite mild here the last few.

                    Have a good Sunday ladies.

Good morning. No snow yet today.
After i went to bed last night hubby said it was white over with snow, but by the time he went to bed it was all gone.

No set plans for us, just a normal day.

                        Good Sunday morning, everyone.

Shem, I can imagine your family Zoom was busy and the younger ones were very excited, even without the delights of a new puppy to greet. How bid is he going to be? Old McDonald never fails to entertain, does it, although I'm sure you could have done with a bigger repertoire. I hope your OH doesn't have any side effects from his jab this afternoon.

Gem - I bet you're tired after the sleepover, but how lovely to spend some time with GD and GS2. Yep, feet up and watching tv sounds about right.

After all the fearful weather forecasts it's not bad here. Dull, dry a bit chilly but otherwise ok. Things may change, of course.

No plans for us either today. I'll do a few odd jobs, including some washing. It seems to have build up all at once. Eva needs a good run in the paddock, but it's been too wet all week. Perhaps today will be ok.

I hope everyone's feeling ok. xx

Nanto - our posts crossed. I like the look of that beach - sitting watching the waves and sipping a cocktail. Lovely.

I agree Daisy, that beach is somewhere I would love to be, and even more so with a cocktail!
You have reminded me to put the wash on! I filled the machine but didn't switch it on as we don't do it in winter if the kids are staying as we dry it upstairs. They need both spare bedrooms, and you can't have it on the landing as they are up and down stairs. I forgot to do it after they had gone yesterday.
Oma you are right. They brighten my life and this lockdown has been much more bearable due to our childcare duties. I feel for grandparents who have been unable to see their GC. As you say however, it is nice when they go home and you have relative calm for few days
